Not added anyone that I don’t have dates for but I’ve not forgotten you just let me know when you ovulate/ know your test dates ☺️

The top one is my stick yesterday on cd 8 and today is the bottom on cd 9, there's definite progression as one is blank.
How close would you guys be to ovulation with that line as I'm worried I'm missing my peak. My estimate is another 3-6 days time according to my apps.

@Minster2012 it was an unexpected nap, he was put in his room for hitting and fell asleep of his own accord which was like winning the lottery as he'd been a wee horror all morning! 😂 Hes started trying to drop his nap completely which I'm so not prepared for, I need that half hour for my sanity!

What a grump that guys was about the park, glad the kids had a chance to use it before he stuck his nose in!

@busybee143 dont think u do. Some can tell with cm etc. It called that because sperm can live for up to 5 days leaving u with a chance if u DTD within thos days. (I stand to be corrected as this is our 1st cycle)
But the thing is to try and pin point when u ovulate. If u once have sex once a wk u could completely miss ur window. Or u could be very lucky and do it within the right window.
I dont even know if I ovulated or if I still am. So I'm gona try out the sticks this month. Hopefully see a line and watch for symptoms, cm etc. If I ovulated this cycle we DTD alot and there was a max of 2 days we didnt DTD in between so our chances were high we DTD at the right times but who knows

@Busybee143 looks like you could still be quite a few days from your peak. The second line will get just as dark if not darker than the control line. However some people peak really quickly and some have a gradual peak. Once you've done it this month and see your progression you'll have a better idea of how quickly yours peaks.

@Busybee143 your LH tests look quite low so I wound to worry about being close to a surge yet. I've attached my tests this month so you can see how mines progressed for reference, but everyone will differ. Keep testing once a day until it looks much more obvious of a line, then test a few times a day.

They are 2 different sticks there both with only 1 line. Should there not be 2 if ovulating

I'm a lot behind as you've already got to your peak.
Im just wondering why I get my peak so late on a short cycle. So by your sticks surely the 28th is your peak so you've ovulate about the 29th? Question though, if you had to inseminate twice what days would you have picked?

@2alreadywantanother yeah I'm using the Femometer app to track those OPK tests. The OPK tests are One Step, so a different brand from Femometer and it works fine 👍🏼 I think they just need to look similar so that it can read the lines.

@Busybee143 it shows the darkest lines when you're about to ovulate in the next 24 hours roughly, so I would DTD (or inseminate) as soon as possible when it's showing the strongest lines on the OPK, the test line being at least as dark as the control line. Of course if you are able to, the days before and days after would also help too. But I think optimal time is when those lines are the strongest so that they swim into place on time for ovulation.

@Busybee143 sorry I just saw you said you plan to inseminate twice... if it was me I'd go with the day when both lines are strong, and again the day after.

@Busybee143 Ill attach my OPK results as well, so my cycle ended up being 28 days, and I ovulated on day 17, confirmed with bbt. Maybe you should consider bbt as well, so you can really pin point Ovulation since you only have the two chances. Even now after one cycle of proper tracking, 3 apps have 3 different ovulation prediction dates.

Such a busy day at work so I'm clearly replying to things about 7hrs ago when I opened this 😂 femometer is predicting my period to start tomorrow which I thought was crazy but now having a bit of abdominal twinges... I'm going to pee on my first ever FRER even if period is in full flow in the morning ✌🏾

Well I've date night tomorrow night instead of sat. We are still getting a free leg sat night but places rushing you out when times up for next customers. @Busybee143 Not sure I can offer anything useful, my wife used the Clearblue Digital OPKs (the simpler version which goes from an 'O' to a smiley, no flashing phase). She had an 'O' in the morning then a smiley at 4pm, phoned the clinic and they booked her in for the insemination for 11am the next day. This was only one insemination, but intra-uterine. Are you doing it at home?

@KateColx @minster2012 thank you! I can't even remember what I did last cycle to get myself pregnant pretty sure I had given up by peak time as well 😂

I certainly didn't have such high LH readings leading up to ovulation and then have another darker peak (180% of fermometer) after I had a peak (100% yday) 🤣 the app says I'm due to ovulate today so I guess it's the correct timing! Also I'm getting cramping now so must be..

DH is just gna have to be okay with DTD today and tomorrow to cover but I'm sure that won't be a problem x

@Busybee143 I would just keep testing and make sure you aren't testing when you've drunk a lot of water and do it around 1.30pm or if u have enough sticks 1pm and 4pm x I found watching YouTube videos good to understand ovulation - so you know how long your cycles are?
