So glad Im not the only one that doubts the decision to have another when dealing with the devil ..... I mean toddler.
However mine has finally given in and went for a nap and now I'm looking at the baby monitor with him looking all sweet and angelic now that hes asleep and somehow it wipes the whole mornings chaos out and it makes my ovaries ache wanting another. Really can't win! Ha ha

On a different note does anyone take extra B6 vitamins? I was reading up on it but so confused on quantity. The average b6 seems to come in 100mg pills but nhs says you only need 1.2mg and not to exceed 10mg so surely 100mg seems like a shitload more than youre supposed to have? I take pregnacare conception that has 10mg in it but was looking into an extra supplement now very confused and not so sure.

@2alreadywantanother 4th cycle since coming off the pilland the others were all 26-28 days 🙄
@DKDK123 a few of us rambled on about b6 for a while on the last thread if you want to look back. All a bit confusing. My understanding is you generally don't need a lot but a large dose can be beneficial for preventing/treating some conditions. Probably best to get a doctor's opinion before taking a larger dose

Thanks @Katao will look back on it. The docs is the very last resort I tend to avoid them as much as I can unless essential. (Bad experience when I was a kid with an old school doc who literally force fed medicine into my mouth while shouting at me for gagging and bringing it back up saying I was spitting it out deliberately......definitely wouldn't get away with it these days!').
One more cycle to go before I agreed with hubby that I'd finally give in and go to the docs (could have went after 6 as im over 35 but hubby agreed to let me try a year before going) So using Dr google to see what I can do to hope we finally catch this month and it doesnt come to that! 🤞

@DKDK123 that's horrific! No wonder you aren't keen. I'm sure you will get professionally treated if you have to go and you will have hubby with you for support. Hope you catch this month though instead!

@DKDK123 good luck on one last cycle before docs! We're cycle 11 but month 10 cos of my short cycles so thinking of calling in August. Will be into cycle 12 by then but month 11. I hope you have a better experience, I'm almost certain that you will!

@2alreadywantanother regarding your question of when to start using OPKs, I started on CD8, one a day until I got a high reading, I then did three a day for 2 days (as I caught my peak). Timing, not first wee, so usually between 11-2. I just tried to hold, because you need to be hydrated for good EWCM. So oersonally would never drink less.

@Skip86 We shear all the wool off, so you shear their bellies first, that comes off seperate, then shear the rest in a certain way so it comes off in one piece, I then put the belly wool inside the main wool and wrap it all up. Hope that makes sense.

@KateColx tame sheep love cuddles and scratches! Ours are pretty wild as they don't see humans often. But I love it when we do have a pet lamb. Cows love cuddles even more, way easier to tame a cow than a sheep I find 😆

Have just bought the clear blue ovulation sticks that give you the smiley faces to try and work out exactly when I'm ovulating (and actually if I am-although the fact I fell in Dec and had a MMC in Feb is surely a positive thing)

What I thought was AF full force last night was just a tease it seems, back to brown/almost nothing and so maybe she will arrive properly tomorrow when I thought I was due.

Whoever said our bodies are fuck boys is so right. I'm just like if you're coming come on down and let's get it done. Plus AF starting last night brought my FW forward to include a few days before my caravan trip which would have been great but it's now back to the whole time I'm away 🤦🏻‍♀️

Plus should hold for 2hrs plus is that right. Though I seen it say 4hrs somewhere.

@dkdk123 I take extra vitamin B6 it's erm 1.4mg which is apparently 100% but looking at pregnacare the 10mg is 714% of what you need- I also got really confused and have come to the conclusion that maybe the websites meant it as it seems impossible to have 1000% more than recommended amount x

Ugh I got a mega peak today on LH 😭 I'm exhausted from all the sex..how many hours after the surge do we ovulate? I'm thinking to DTD tonight and tomorrow and leave the rest in fates hands lol x

My cycles haven't always been 25 days but they seem to be now and I'm not sure if I'm missing my peak using pee sticks even though I'm being careful.

Ladies, might be a stupid question but it I have any line on a ovulation stick am I in my fertile week? I'm not supposed to be in it let but I had a 'good' line this morning for a week until ovulation. So confused!

I'm pleased DS has made ppl smile, he did me (amongst a lot of gritted teeth the rest of toddler tantrum time) but those are the really funny bits we all wish for

@katao im with you, I'm exactly the same late as you too & just wishing for SOMETHING. Obviously that free baby would be the ideal. DH was like "so what happens now?" I said well doctors would say leave it a few days & test again if AF not arrived so I guess Friday test again? It's annoying as I'm waiting to phone IVF clinic on CD1

@Franklydear my DS says "baby" to every other baby he sees (including his new lockdown nephews) so I hope it would be nice?? There's A LOT of hope / wishful thinking there as he was just scrabbling with my mates child shouting "MINE" but they are both toddlers???

So, in an effort to be normal I've just BEEN TO A PLAYGROUND & FARMSHOP CAFE with my friend & her toddler. It was lovely EXCEPT we got told that we still shouldn't be in the playground (there was a sign saying "due to current government guidelines we ask you not to use this playground" but no lock) well current government guild lines are playgrounds can open so we went in as the kids had seen the playground they love (next village to me we tried to look online no answer) & another lady & her kids agreed. We got told by a guy, no "the village & villagers agreed not to open it especially not to non villagers" errr I only live one village away, ours is open but smaller & we said well we just assumed as gate not locked & it said government guidelines etc etc. BLAH BLAH. We had played by that stage.

The funny thing he said was "I'm not sure they'll reopen for school holidays as it gets awfully busy & outsiders too" errrr yeah.... the kids need something to do. GERROUT OF MY VILLAGE 😳😬

My husband approached for me for some lunchtime action today which was great... until afterwards when I started worrying that I've possibly ruined implantation 😟 someone tell me I'm wrong to worry please!

I just read a while back that intercourse can disrupt implantation and I'm at 9 DPO today which is known as the usual time it can happen.

It was a quick one and we haven't done anything since Sunday so hoping one wee session is fine.

I have been so bloated this last few days which is unusual for me, but very likely could be the food I've been eating rather than any early pregnancy symptoms!

It looks like from our list of test dates there should be 7 people testing today... no news yet??

@Busybee yes, they are 25 days, for the last 6 months, periods varies a lot, could be 1 or 2 days full flow or spotting for 4-5 days, which made me test a couple times after as didn't look enough to call it a period, I don't track properly but going by giant breast, cramps in one side and nausea, usually about cd12-13 for ovulation, which makes sense to have a 12-14 days lutheal phase.

@Busybee143 no the line has to be darker than the control line for it to be a surge. Maybe download an app like Premom or Femometer which allow you to take pics & they interpret them too & then you can attach them for us to look at as well
One of the others can show you theirs as they have more normal OPKs

@2020mission, there's very little that can disrupt implantation, certainly not sex, looking online I also found that you can have sex but the woman cannot orgasm, some misogynist found the internet...

@busybee143 no cause there can be a low surge alot of the time. Reading up it's only when the line is as dark or darker the control line.

@2alreadywantanother I meant drinking is good to increase EWCM thats why I wouldn't try and not drink just for an OPK 😊 but do try and hold for 3hrs.

@Minster2012 There is no market for wool atm 😬 usually we might make a tiny profit or brake even, but this year will be a loss. We have enough sheds though so dad has decided to store it until the market improves a bit. Our wool usually goes on to make carpets.

@Katao aw I had this a couple of months ago, no pregnancy but also no AF! Luckily it made an appearance 3 days later but god knows why. I think a lot of people are out of sync with their 'norm' at the moment. Lorrrddd knows I am 🙄 x

@Mococo1 I use the CB ones and I think it says 12-36 hours after peak which doesn't really help haha. If you've got your peak today I think tonight and tomorrow covers you well, I'm sure one of the lovelies on here told me to do peak day and the day after x

Spoke to a girl I work with today who is so so lovely and also pregnant! I told her we were trying and the first thing she said was 'Christ it takes so much longer than you think it would doesn't it?!' I was like YES thank the lord for someone who didn't get pregnant simply by looking at a penis. It felt nice to speak to someone about it, I'm still weird with telling people we're close to all of the ins and outs. X

When i finally got pregnant with my first after a year of trying loads of girls I knew ended up pregnant at the same time....i stopped asking how long they were trying because the answer kept coming back as barely at all 🙄

@Minster2012 I'm having problems with the apps. Glow the one I log everything on tells me I ovulate on cd 14 but it seems late as my cycles are only 25 days long however I have been getting my peak around cd 12-13 I think? The other apps I downloaded tell me I would ovulate cd 11/12 which seems better.
What's the possibility of my lh surge being off? What's the possibility of me ovulating much sooner than 12 hours after the surge?
