Tracking your cycle and possible BFP using RHR - part 2

Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

See attached my current chart - at 10DPO my RHR is at it's all time high this cycle and has not started to decline for AF yet. Fingers crossed!

I love using them and you are rotting nice clear results too. I use the clearblue as I need it spelled out to me 😂😂😂 I’ve got it narrowed down now so a box lasts me 3-4 months which is great!

poptypingchef · 12/07/2020 18:26

Getting not rotting - this phone gets worse 🤨

mrswilso · 12/07/2020 19:34

@poptypingchef I just got the cheapie Femometer ones on Amazon so I've been peeing on them every chance I get ha!

poptypingchef · 12/07/2020 20:37

@mrswilso Good stuff - I used similar at first but they just ever get anything I would class as positive so I gave up. You seem to be getting great results so why swap Grin

chrissagcat · 12/07/2020 22:05

@poptypingchef only second cycle! Not using OPK or temping quite yet

mumof23188 · 13/07/2020 10:41

Hello everyone, how are you all getting on? Just checking in as nothing much been happening with me. Approx 5 days from AF and took an IC and FRER and nothing. My RHR isn’t doing much either. Last cycle it dropped the day before AF so I’m not holding out much hope!

@mumof23188 your chart still cracks me up with how static it is! I'm gonna ignore the FRER at 5 days pre AF cause that seems way too early to be conclusive! What DPO are you now?

@Juno231 haha 🙈 it’s crazy isn’t it. Just doesn’t do anything! I’m not even 100 percent sure because my OPK’s were delivered late and I started testing at CD14. Had EWCM CD9 &10 so
I’m guessing I’m around 12dpo?! How are you? What happened with your tests?

Marking my place on thread and will carry and catch up on posts

2alreadywantanother · 13/07/2020 16:39

Attached are my most recent RHR

1 where af started on 12th, do dropping the few days b4. Af was late and I predicted ovulating the 25th (marked 1) and the other marked 2 is when I may have going by af start date. Is there any tell tale signs for fw? Or ovulating?

@2alreadywantanother it's sort of different for each woman I think but one thing most of us seem to see is RHR dropping the second week of TWW ahead of AF arriving - which I can see yours did too. Then some have big peaks for OD, others the opposite so it's kinda hard to tell by looking at just one month of data.

My ones for reference tend to be lowest during AF or just after. Second week of cycle it starts creeping up again for ovulation and then in the TWW it's at its highest and starts dropping maybe 4 days pre AF. Bear in mind alcohol might really mess with the readings too.

@mumof23188 yes of course now I remember! You normally OD on CD12 but got OPKs on CD14 and weren't sure whether to carry on testing in case it was late this time. Are you saying your LP is normally 17 days? That's the longest it can physically be I think so I'm impressed! Fingers crossed it was just too soon to test xx

@Juno231 to be honest I’m really not sure! I’ve not tracked for a long time as was breastfeeding. With my last baby I came off the pill and was very lucky and got pregnant on our 3rd month. I conceived on around CD 10/11 so super early. Not sure if pregnancy and breastfeeding have effected anything cycle wise!

mumof23188 · 14/07/2020 10:04

My RHR has finally done something 😂
