Tracking your cycle and possible BFP using RHR - part 2

Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

See attached my current chart - at 10DPO my RHR is at it's all time high this cycle and has not started to decline for AF yet. Fingers crossed!

@ltay2 how sensitive is your IC? I think most are 25 miu so you'd def be better off trying a FRER! I'm convinced it'll be a BFP with that crazy RHR 🤞

@Ltay2 definitely get a FRER! IC are rubbish really.

So CD11 here and my HR has dropped again. I’ve no idea what’s going on 😩 I’m still testing once per day with the OPKs no idea when I will ovulate!

@Fran2020 hopefully you don’t have to wait to long 🤞. God yes Atleast there is no itching! Nearly OV time for you again then ☺️

@Ltay2 Hmm very strange! What did your RHR graph look like last month?

@mumof23188 I hope not but I'm worried now as the Pessary doesn't seem to have dissolved yet and I can still feel it inside. Also I just had some pink stretchy CM come out when I wiped?! 😬 I want to start DTD!! Hmm that's strange with your RHR! Mine has gone down today too x

@Fran2020 ahh I’ve never used a pessary so not sure. Does it say how long it’s meant to take to dissolve? No idea about the pink CM! So frustrating that we have no idea what’s going on in there isn’t it!!

RHR has gone up again this morning. Also had a sharp pain in my left side yesterday and the day before lasting about 15 minutes each time so think that I must have only just ovulated!

@Juno231 It's supposedly an extra sensitive one and 10mlu but they were really cheap so not convinced they work properly.

@Fran2020 I've attached my graph from last month for comparison! AF started on 5th July so not quite included at the end.

@HansBanans sounds like that was OD! Did you manage to get DTD in in the lead up?

@Fran2020 when did you put it in? I think before bedtime is the easiest as it has time to process overnight. If you can feel I'd argue you haven't shoved it high up enough though!

@Juno231 we DTD about 5 days prior but I thought OD had already been and gone, so wasn't actively trying in the lead up to what seems to be actual OD! 😩

@HansBanans ah that's frustrating! tbf we wont know if it was late until AF shows. Do you use anything else to track ovulation with?

@Juno231 I had been using OPKs last month but then I ran out of those, I've ordered more for next cycle as I was convinced AF was coming with the drop in RHR. I used BBT before as well but didn't this month so I think I'll start doing that again if AF shows x

@Ltay2 that is a jump! Hope it was just a dodgy test!!! Keep us posted . Fitbit has said I ovulated on 14th but when I've put in my information on the apps now for due date it said I conceived between 5th-10th 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

Trying not to overthink the RHR now but I'm 5 weeks today apparently and it's gone up another 1bpm. Does anyone know if it will plateau or still to go up a bit?

@mumof23188 @Juno231 I put it in before bed on Wednesday. I thought it would dissolve overnight then leave a chalky residue in my knickers. But nothing so far. Then some pink CM today. I can only feel it if I erm... check haha! 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Ltay2 Hmm it looks completely different to this month.

@chrissagcat I'm not sure, I think it can keep going up a bit more!

@fran2020 that's weird! i'd have expected the chalky residue too. You sure it wasn't meant to be swallowed ha!

@chrissagcat it does eventually plateau and later on start dropping back down I think as you body adapts to the increase in blood flow (plasma increases by like 1.3litres when pregnant!)

@Juno231 hahaha no definitely an inserting one haha! When I've check bits have got stuck under my finger nail and it's chalky! Maybe it's just taking longer to dissolve.!

Finally cracked and did a proper test!! I'm in shock, was facing away for the 3 minutes coz I was scared to look 😂 had a 1bpm drop this morning and cervix feels lower so not getting my hopes up too much!

@Ltay2 massive congratulations 🥳 don’t worry about cervix. It changes at different times for people. AF definitely won’t be showing!!

We’ve been ttc for 3 months. My heart rates gone weird all 3 months and my boobs hurt whennyhey don’t normally! Plus I swear I’ve been getting faint BFPs on internet cheapies every month! So I’m soo confused right now!
This is mine for this month, Either 13/14dpo af due today or tomorrow. Heart rate gone down 1bpm today so thinking it’s not looking good ☹️
