@lastditchattempt20 bfn today will test again tomorrow. Feeling usual pms moodiness tonight - tired/easy irritated etc so don’t feel it’s going to happen 😟 but sure I’ll test tomo for the hell of it! Why not! Glad yours is looking positive 🥰

I've actually got the test out of packet ready in the toilet. I always wake 5.30ish for a wee then get up at 7. So I'm gonna test with 5.30 wee 🤞

@Loladoodle I felt like that before my bfp so you never know! Pregnancy symptoms are very similar to af symptoms so there's no way to know for sure.

The same as last night. Clear Blue early and Femometer, both sensitive to 10 unit (or whatever the units are!)

@lastditchattempt20 how many DPO are you? I've heard that SMU is often better than first.

Might just be early. Frer is 6.4 I think maybe try one of those again? When would af be due? Some people don’t get strong lines until after that. So hoping it works out for you x

I guess I'm thinking if it's shown up once on these ones I shouldn't need a less sensitive one. Might try SMU or evening. Am 12DPO I think...

Ahh sorry to hear that @lastditchattempt20 try the frer again they are easier to compare. The blue dye ones aren't very reliable.

Completely jumping ahead of myself here when I’m not even sure if I can conceive but does anyone have any links to information about planning budget for maternity/first year etc. with 4 months of furlough pay, Ive not been saving as much as I’d like and I planned to save enough to cover maternity without dipping into savings knowing I’d likely need that further down line.

Morning all, I think I am now 1 or 2 DPO (although Ava has me down as ovulating tomorrow 😖)

Ended up going to bed at 8.30 yesterday with a migraine so didn't manage to dtd again 😢
Hopefully we can try tonight and then that will be enoygh🤞

Not sure how many more months I can cope with disappointment, need to get partner to ring the doctors and get his tests sorted. But he is now back to work next week so that's not going to make it easy.

May I jump back on? I said a quick hi on last thread- 39 with the big birthday in the next week. One baby already and trying for second. I'm just entering FW, I think, but the 2 apps I'm using have ovulation three days apart.

I've really built the pressure in my head that if I don't have success with this last egg of my 30's I never will! The rational part of me does know it's rubbish but reading the stats for conceiving over the age of 40 is depressing reading.

If I ovulate on either 3rd or 6th- lots of DTD towards the end of the week I guess. Last cycle had two LH peaks so who knows.

Urgh... I’m feeling illogically anxious today... can someone please reassure/remind me that 3 days of flashing smilies is not unusual and does not mean I’m not going to ovulate!

Think I got my hopes up to receive a flashing smiley on day 8!

Maybe tracking wasn’t such a good idea!

I got a couple of days of flashing smileys then stopped testing for sanity. I know someone else this happened to this month, bizarre!

Thank you @Sleeeeeepy! I’ve been searching the MN archives and seems fairly common, In fact according to the CB leaflet, 66% get 0-4 flashies before a peak and 25% get 5-9... I’ve got to remind myself that one regular AF doesn’t mean my cycle is magically sorted and I’m guaranteed a day 13/14 OV...

@FridaKFangirl 3 days is fine- it all depends when you start and how long your surge takes. Are you testing twice a day once it started flashing to make sure you catch your static?
