Thank you for the🐱 love. We’re not out of the woods and we’re all exhausted... but we’re ok. Like I say.. practice :)

Cycle day 22/10 DPO here. I’m not testing until next Saturday when/if I’m officially late for AF. Zero symptoms, but also assuming implementation would only be in the next day or two anyway.

Anyone else testing next weekend?

I hope everyone is having a nice weekend. I'm 10dpo and feeling the normal bloaty crampy thing. My ex annoyed me on friday and I'm a bit fed up this morning. I'll be ok but it's put me off my focus and that's not good. Going to study and put it out of my mind :)

Hi all, been lurking for a while and finally plucked up the courage to join. Was worried I might end up getting a bit obsessed, which is the one thing I’ve been really trying not to do!
Little bit about me....am 41. This will be my first baby, my partner has two other children. I get the sinking feeling that I’ve just left it too late.
We’ve been sort of trying for about 8 months but not really putting much thought into it, guess just hoped it would happen....it hasn’t 😬
For last couple of months have been tracking via the CLUE app and DTD a lot 😂 but no joy
Have bought some Clearblue trackers so be interesting to see if that matches up with the app. I do get pain around the time of ovulation so hoping that’s a positive sign.
I know I can get pregnant, had a miscarriage about 10 years ago with a previous partner.
IVF etc won’t be an option for us, so really hoping it happens for us soon

Should also add I’m day 5 of my cycle this month, so start testing next week and 🤞🏻

AF for me today 🙄😔 bit of an argument too with DP as already on at him re next month.

Me and DP are in a bit of a tricky situation. For reasons I don't want to bore you with, we are only together at weekends.... at fertile time we make arrangements so we have to time things really well.

I'm doing OPKs but last month I got a smiley face in the evening on day 8. Swear I didn't ovulate until day 11. DTD days 8, 10 (ewcm day) and 11.

Any tips for better timing?

Hello everyone

Having a really horrible morning! Severely upset. Had a blazing row with my DH as he suffers from ED and we were not able to DTD last night or this morning. He is saying it’s pressure but I just spent a month tracking ovulation with medication with a private clinic and when I ovulated he couldn’t perform. Tried this morning and nothing. I cannot help thinking he is so selfish. Whilst I am dragging my body through fertility aid, he hasn’t bothered to commit. He has these issues for months yet hasn’t been to a doctor. We bought viagra , but evidently the issue is psychological as it doesn’t work. It’s now affecting our marriage and I’m just so pissed off as he knew we would be doing ovulation induction. I cannot help but feel so angry towards him. I ovulated late yesterday and we did DTD yesterday morning and early Saturday morning just not sure it’s enough as the doctor recommended twice a day during ovulation.

I had pink watery discharge on 6th July. IF this was either to do with ovulation or implantation, when can I reliably take a test? x

@ChicaXS awww Hun, men can be so insensitive sometimes. Swimmers live for up 5 days so hopefully you caught. Does he know it's affecting the marriage? When you feel calmer try and have a conversation with him. Sending you a virtual hug 🤗. Can't imagine the frustration you must be feeling.

@ChicaXS so sorry you are having a really crap morning.
I understand your frustration and upset.
I get annoyed at dp when he can’t perform and he also says it’s the pressure. I’ve tried to be calm about it but it’s because it’s so important to me it makes it hard to be calm and not fly off the handle which doesn’t help the situation! We don’t really have nice romantic sexy time when dtd, we just do what needs to be done. I know everywhere says to try and keep the spark and romance alive but sometimes needs must.
I hadn’t realised that you should dtd a couple of times a day during ovulation. Hopefully the two times you did it were enough.
I ovulated a lot earlier than I thought I was going to this cycle and only got dtd in two days before and on the day. I’m annoyed At myself for not doing it earlier!

@happyhappy37 I have no idea. Had my coil removed and still haven't had a period so nothing to track from. I wondered if the pink discharge was maybe ovulation time? Or even better, could be implantation? I keep seeing people getting false positives if testing too early so was wondering how long to leave it to test if I still don't get a period? x

@EJay84 it definitely could be ovulation spotting or implantation.
I am not too keen on early testing either. Are you experiencing any symptoms of pregnancy?

@happyhappy37 I have really full, sore boobs and have been having crazy dreams the past couple of nights. It will end up being wishful thinking but I have no idea when to expect a period x

I’d say give it at least another week before you test. It’s never crossed my mind to test earlier, AF normally saves me the trouble 🙄

@EJay84 well you could start using opks, and given that's it's been a week since you had the pink CM, you could also do a pregnancy. Do bear in mind that our bodies do play some serious tricks on us normally, but even more so when we've just come off contraceptives. Hormones are a whole person with split personality 😂

@EJay84 I'm in a similar situation- came off pill on 9th June, still waiting for period 5 weeks later. I know I ovulated 2 weeks ago from using opk test and we had sex a few days before. So I'm 13dpo and wondering whether I'm pregnant or waiting for the mother of all periods to arrive. Weirdly I have no symptoms right now though, except the odd twinge / cramp but nothing major. I hate this waiting game !
