I'm on CD25 AF due 2nd July, potentially no ovulation this month or my body just refuses to budge on temp 😩

If anyone else would like to join please do xx

I don't actually know @Northernsoul90 . I didn't start using OPK's until my second cycle, and even that one I either didn't ov or ov'd really late.
No harm in starting testing in the hope that your hcg reaching zero encourages ovulation. 🤞🏼

Rebecca1992 · 30/06/2020 19:34

Hi ladies, I hope everyone is doing well.

Please tell me this is good news and a possible positive OPK?? I've been testing now for 5days and this is the darkest I've had so far, by my FLO app today I should ovulate and tomorrow by "My Calendar" app.

TTC after MC - June/July 2020 (Part 4)
fafi · 30/06/2020 19:50

@Rebecca1992 Looks positive to me! (I've never had one as dark as that!) Get on it! Grin

MichT4 · 30/06/2020 19:53

@Jazper I am 10/11DPO depending which app I use. Due AF on Friday but my temps have crept down the past 2 nights so I feel like it might not be my month 😢. Hopefully it’ll go back up a bit tonight, or at least not go down more and then I might get a bit of hope back. I feel cold all day at the moment though so I’m not holding out hope.

Not long until I know, then to start again 🙄😂

@rebecca1992 I’d say that’s pretty close to peak. Had you limited fluids and held a wee for a few hours?
Do you have the glow app? Or femometer? Both have a photo function that tells you if it’s peak, not sure if femometer needs it’s own brand OPK - probably not. Not sure if Flo does or not. Quite useful if you’re unsure but it looks good to me.

Rebecca1992 · 30/06/2020 19:54

Grin @fafi yayyy! Thank you I wasn't sure...I'm so happy my body is obviously still working as should after MC

Re6ecc4 · 30/06/2020 19:59

@Jazper @VP91x @MichT4 I dont know really! I honestly believed I'd get my period this time 😂I was like oh no it will be tomorrow! And i know i had to wait 6 days to get a + last time sooo😂
Anyway I'm feeling good about this one as my symptoms are strong so far!!

Wishingfornumber2 · 30/06/2020 20:06

Thanks @Hayleylou89, @HopeForRainbowbaby and @MichT4. No other symptoms really just a bit of nausea now and again with the cramps but get that sometimes when AF due so no guaranteed symptoms.
@HopeForRainbowbaby that has gone quick! Are you going to use anything to track this cycle?
Oohh @Re6ecc4 excited for you! When are you going to test?

Rebecca1992 · 30/06/2020 20:08

@MichT4 I have the flo app but I need to enter if its peak...its 0.77 in the 1 to 1 (control line to test line) meter. I will test again before bed to see if it will go any higher. I did limit fluids and held for 5 hours

Wishingfornumber2 · 30/06/2020 20:10

Also thank you @Northernsoul90. X

fafi · 30/06/2020 20:14

@Rebecca1992 I have never limited or held a wee - is this why I have never had a strong posi OPK!? Such a minefield.

Rebecca1992 · 30/06/2020 20:17

@fafi I'm not too sure this is only my first cycle using OPK'S ever. It was the lovely ladies here suggested holding and limiting before testing. Or maybe use your first urine of the morning? It would be more concentrated to pick up a surge

HE88 · 30/06/2020 20:18

Hi ladies I have a wee dilemma, my mother in law popped round early to pick something up and mentioned that my sister in law is coming through to hers on Friday and asked if we wanted to visit too. My sister in law is pregnant and I've not seen her since she announced her pregnancy. I'm just not sure if I want to go and see her ever growing bump! My daughter and her eldest daughter are close in age so will obviously want to see each other. I feel really stupid feeling like this, anyone been in a similar situation and what did you do? Xx

MichT4 · 30/06/2020 20:19

@fafi yes it just makes your wee less diluted. I think the cheapies don’t recommend FMU as the surge is usually in the morning, so wouldn’t pick it up until later, but if you’ve had lots to drink etc, it might dilute the result.
I think the CB ones are FMU but I’m new to OPKs so no expert at all

fafi · 30/06/2020 20:24

Thanks @MichT4! I've told myself I will only TTC this month after MC on 20th if I get a positive OPK! (I normally just chart as I have never had much luck with OPKs!) - the things we tell ourselves! 🙈

Re6ecc4 · 30/06/2020 20:35

@Wishingfornumber2 tomorrow morning!! Got a cheap test for then but some frer coming off amazon tomorrow afternoon x

MichT4 · 30/06/2020 20:37

@fafi oh I know. Setting ourselves rules we will likely break 😂

@HE88 I have a similar situation at the moment as my sister is PG. it’s hard seeing her, but she’s really good generally and tries not to talk too much about it when I’m around. I’m seeing her Saturday which will be tough as she’s had her 12 week scan now so I imagine she’ll be more chatty.
I think it’s totally fine to feel this way. Can you talk to her and say you find it hard? Or is she sensitive anyway?
I think it’ll be good for you to go, for your little ones too, and also you’ll be surprised how strong you are. My mum text me after last time saying I did really well, which meant a lot. Because I did struggle at times.
It’s difficult because it’s so bloody hard, but I want to show I’m happy for her so she doesn’t hate me. I just walked away if she talked about it and busied myself elsewhere. Just remember it will be your turn soon xxx

HE88 · 30/06/2020 20:48

Hey @MichT4 sorry you are going through similar. I think your right about it being good for me to go get it out the way I guess. Hmm is she sensitive she doesn't talk a great deal about her pregnancy in our family chat but when she announced that she was pregnant she was only 7 and a half weeks and I had only Mc like 3 weeks before it and she announced it to us all through our family chat there was no text to me on the side sort of thing.
I'll do as you suggest and if there is talk I'll just try and busy myself. Xx

MichT4 · 30/06/2020 20:52

@he88 oh that’s a bit crappy. I was due to see my sister on a Friday and she called me on the Thursday terrified to tell me and saying she understood if I didn’t want to go. I thought that was good of her. I think it helps that she feels so bad, because she’s very conscious of it.
I think you should do that, but if she pushes it, I’d possibly have a chat with her and explain it’s not easy. I think we build these things up and actually it’s never going to be constant talk about it. And if it is, then shame on them!
You’re a strong and amazing woman, so hold your head high xxx

GraceG26 · 30/06/2020 21:05

@VP91x Thank you for your kind words. Tbh I've been on and off testing for ovulation and since my molar pregnancy, I've been monitored by Charing Cross so there has been no point tracking ovulation. This is the second month I've been trying since my last MC and as my last cycle was so long in comparison to other months, I've decided to invest in the OvuSense device! Have you heard of that before? It sounds interesting!

HE88 · 30/06/2020 21:09

@MichT4 that was really good of your sister to do that and give you the heads up. No one in the family has ever asked how I feel about the whole situation it's like what happened to me is forgotten about.
Your right I am strong, I'm sure it will be fine. Xx

VP91x · 30/06/2020 21:11

@Rebecca1992 yep looks good to me, general rule is that you'll ovulate the day after a pos OPK so get DTD. Good luck xx

@fafi yeah always good to do a bit of a wee hold and not drink too much. I always end up dehydrated pre-ov 😂😂

@HE88 dont feel stupid, it's completely fair to feel this way. Maybe consider how upset it might make you? With everything going on you have an excuse to not see her yet if you don't feel ready. If you think you might be okay or she will be sensitive about things then go and see her xx

@Re6ecc4 can't wait for your test tomorrow!!

Ah ladies, I feel so sad my little one is back at nursery tomorrow. How is everyone this evening? Xx

@SmileyT I took the EPO just now didn't realise I had to start already 😒 xx

VP91x · 30/06/2020 21:13

@GraceG26 ah you're london based too! Are you quite central? That's good that you're being well monitored. Yes I've heard of it thats the internal one isn't it? When does that arrive for you x

OP posts:
HE88 · 30/06/2020 21:32

@VP91x thank you I think I'll wait till Friday and see how I'm feeling.
Is your wee one excited about going back to nursery? Xx

VP91x · 30/06/2020 21:42

@HE88 I have been talking to her about it the last few fays and she just keeps saying 'no mummy' so.. I don't think it is going to be a smooth drop off.

Yeah definitely sleep on it and see how you feel. Hope you are ok xx

OP posts:
SmileyT · 30/06/2020 21:43

@Hayleylou89 yes stretching sounds like a very good sign and you need to take advantage of this sleep while you can get full nights ☺️

@Eli2020 I totally get you, I would wake up at 5/5.30 when I was working reduced hrs at the beginning of lockdown even though I didn't need to leave the house until 9am but then be exhausted around 1.30pm 😴

@VP91x ooh I'm adding that to my list, there are a lot of nights ahead to fill so keep the suggestions coming 👌🏾 I was having 1 x 1000mg but somebody on another thread suggested having 4 so I upped to that after period finished. Also I'm going to miss updates of your LOs tantrums (in a nice way) but it will also make the time you are with her even more special x

Yay to all the good signs @Re6ecc4 🥳

@Jazper you don't sound super negative it's just how you feel and we all go through these low points, a lot of my negativity comes out on my OH but we all feel your pain. You KNOW that you are not out and there is nothing to say this isn't your month, hold out hope until AF comes or this waiting is even worse xx

Welcome @GraceG26 baby dust to you xx

@Northernsoul90 I'd take first full day of MC bleed as CD1, I ovulated CD18 my first cycle and was still having a faint positive test x

@HE88 the first zoom call I did with one of my best friends that is pregnant I cried for about an hour afterwards but in the last month I've tried to see her every week just to normalise it a bit and it's actually helped. Going into her nursery was hard but the thought of it was worse than the reality xx
