Hi ladies, tentatively rejoining the chat on here after my much needed break.

Did I miss anything? Any BFPs?

Cd 27 here and I fear it may be an anovulatory one (PCOS for those who don't know me). Officially 12 months ttc now though and will be seeing my doctor to get the ball rolling 👍🏻

There's been a couple of bfps and I had my gender scan and we're having a boy 💙

@Pol96 thanks for thinking of me :) I'm ok, I'm still fed up with it all but at least I can officially see a doctor about it now.

So nice to hear from you and glad you are back! How are you feeling? It's good that you are going to get the doctor involved. I'm on CD20, taken Soy Isoflavones cd3-7 for the first time. So will see how it goes.

Went to the loo and tons of ewcm, now I'm lying in bed with an elevated heart rate and dizzy head. Are these related 😂😂 for once my ovulation symptoms match my apps!

I came off the pill 6 months ago and since then my cycles have been really long. First one took a few months to come and then was 28 days so I thought all was good!

Then I had a 35 day cycle and a 41 day cycle. This cycle I’m on CD 29 and just got a positive OPK so looking like an even longer cycle this month. Although it is my first time tracking ovulation so I don’t really know how long it normally is between ovulation and AF.

How long are your cycles? Are they regularly long or irregular? It’s good to see some BFPs on this thread!

Hey @newbie0818 good to see you back, how are you? I was on CD51 until.today when I've had some spotting whilst wiping so looks like AF could finally be here. Going to attempt to get booked in for bloods asap as I think this was an anovulatory cycle too

@Elsie2021welcome! I came off the pill last June and was having cycles of around 42 days .. then last cycle was 32 days and I got excited. This cycle has been 51 days and don't think I ovulated so hoping that the spotting today was AF starting and I can get some blood tests done

I've managed to get a blood test booked for tomorrow at hospital for day 3 hormone tests so 🤞 I'm guessing I'll have to tell them what it's for as all I've had is a text asking me to book a hormone blood test 🤷🏼‍♀️

I just had this on a FRER....i’m freaking out!!!!!!! Do i trust it??? I literally had my bloods done 2 weeks ago surely they’d have picked it up on there?????!!!!!

@duckii I'm ok, but fed up still but I got a very high opk today so I think it's happening finally :) what are those isoflavens?

If you had bloods 2 weeks ago it may not have implanted by then.. therefore no hcg to pick up...??

Thank you both so much. I’m genuinely in shock, it’s been 15 months! I don’t think i quite believe it yet, i keep thinking the test must be faulty lol

Hi all, hope urs OK to join, stopped my mini pill in Feb. Been ttc since, had chemical pregnancy in April (I swear I developed ibs after) and my cycles are so irregular 🤦‍♀️ currently on cd43 with tiredness sickness and back pain (may be unrelated) going to start ovulation strips next cycle (Im new to all the abbreviations lol 😂) I've no clue what I'm doing tbh and would be great to talk

@hollywhooo congratulations! I don't think they would have picked it up 2 weeks ago and a bfp like that is very real!!

@hollywhooo I reckon you'd get a positive on a digi now too tbh.. Just checked my photos and when I had a line similar on a frer I got 2-3 weeks on a digi (pic attached) .. Ahh so exciting!!

If anyone uses clearblue advanced opks, can you still get smiley faces flashing if you missed seeing the static one. I'm one day 5/6 of flashing faces, but I had a lot of ewcm (sorry tmi) 3 days ago. I thought I would have seen my peak by now.. no cheapies left and only clearblue left. I decided after they finish I'm going to stop opks for a while.. now I'm confused

Hey @Newbie0818, hope you're doing ok? As @duckii said I used soy isoflavones on my last cycle and got a BFP! Not had a hint before and was coming up to a year of TTC. Had been prescribed Clomid so thought I'd try SI first as it's dubbed the 'natural Clomid'. I also took B6 for the first time last cycle after I O'd so that could've helped too. Would definitely recommend trying both, worked for me (although at just under 8 weeks I'm still very cautious as the last few weeks have been very bumpy so now anxiously waiting for an early scan on Monday) x

I’m not telling anyone in real life as i dont believe it i’m so shocked!!!! So its lovely to tell you all.
Don’t give up any of you. It’s been 15 months for me, my shortest cycle over that time being 47 days, my NHS referral was due through any day. This feels like a miracle :)
What do i do now?! Lol i’m clueless x

@hollywhooo have you told your oh yet?? You need to decide when to tell gp/refer yourself to the midwife. I called the gp at about 5 weeks and they referred me. You generally won't hear from a midwife until 8-10ish weeks for your booking appointment, don't worry that's normal! With longer cycles your dates will most likely be off, but they'll insist on dating you from lmp until the first scan. Good luck!!! X

Is it worth getting a thermometer for basal temps?

Yeah i told OH as soon as i did the test cos i thought my eyes were deceiving me haha!!!!
Yeah i’ve no clue with dates and stuff, i think it must be early tho! Xx
