@Tink2019 Do you have regular cycles?

Tink2019 · 11/08/2020 09:38

@Elakiya I don't, they range from 27-38 days x

Elakiya · 11/08/2020 10:29

@Tink2019 Mine used to range from 28-40 and I called them regular. Now they range from 29-36 and I continue to call them regular. Does regular mean you pretty much have the same cycle length give or take two days then?

Tink2019 · 11/08/2020 10:43

@Elakiya I think a few days is normal - this is what it says on NHS website: You have irregular periods if the length of your menstrual cycle (the gap between your periods starting) keeps changing.

Although mine are technically irregular they are normal for me as they've always been like that x

SarahTTC2020 · 11/08/2020 12:23

Yay @Rosegold3112 congratulations!! Exciting to see ☺️

Pol96 · 11/08/2020 13:15

@Darcy86 how are you getting on? Are you around 12 weeks now?

Darcy86 · 11/08/2020 15:16

Hi @Pol96 and everyone! Thanks for thinking of me, yes I am 12+4 now, had my scan a few days ago and everything is looking good so far. Here is my little one (hopefully pic attaches!). It was such a huge relief, I'd had next to no symptoms really so had been feeling a bit anxious, like it wasn't real! But he or she is definitely in there. Possibly asleep at first but the sonographer asked me to go to the loo halfway through and when I came back I'd defiinitely woken him or her up, there was a bit of wriggling about and even sort of pushing off from the side of the womb, very strange but amazing Smile how are you doing? You are about 4-5 weeks ahead of me right?

Hope everyone else is good as well - will catch up on the thread properly now to see what I've missed!

@Darcy86 oh that's so great to hear! I was exactly the same at my scan, no symptoms really before.. I also had to wiggle around to wake baby up, then empty half my bladder 😂 Yeah I'm 16+5 today!
Here's the link to my scan picture, mainly guesses for boy except @Suki2020! Will find out on the 22nd at my private scan!

Darcy86 · 11/08/2020 15:48

@Pol96 ahh huge congrats to you too - I also think boy! Any guesses on mine?! We have decided to keep it as a surprise however I am still constantly speculating! Good luck for the 22nd, definitely keep us updated!

Congratulations @Tink2019 & @Rosegold3112 so lovely to see some BFPs!! :)

duckii · 12/08/2020 06:16

I think I'm 12dpo, and a very BFN! Sad I expected this though as only managed to dtd twice in FW. But I had my "day 21" blood test results back, last month was 12.5, this month was 37.2. So I was feeling a bit hopeful.. now to wait for AF and start the soy.

How's everyone else doing?

Tink2019 · 12/08/2020 07:34

@duckii good luck with the soy, I also added 50mg of B6 after O to help with progesterone so could've been a mix of both that worked for me x

duckii · 12/08/2020 20:54

AF here as expected . But I have Soy at the ready!

@Tink2019 thanks. I take magnesium and B6 anyway so let's hope Soy works. If you don't mind me asking, did you follow any dtd plans like SMEP?

Tink2019 · 12/08/2020 22:28

@duckii we just tried to DTD every other day / every two days...pretty much from after AF as O could shift by 10 days each cycle. Best of luck with the soy - take them at night in case you get any side effects x

Thanks. I suffer from migraines so a bit scared to take them but will take them just before I go to sleep x

xoJellyBean · 12/08/2020 23:34

@duckii I'm not far behind you so we will be on soy together 🤞🏻

OP posts:
duckii · 13/08/2020 06:54

@xoJellyBean great! When are you taking them? I'm thinking cd3-7

Tink2019 · 13/08/2020 07:10

@duckii @xoJellyBean I so hope it works for both of you too 🤞🏻 Still can't be sure if it was the soy, B6 or both for me, but my temps were much more stable this cycle after the soy x

(Duckii I suffer with migraines too - I did have a migraine the final day, so didn't take the soy, but not sure if it was related. Hopefully you'll be fine!)

Suki2020 · 13/08/2020 08:45

Hi everyone, hope you’re all ok. I’m now on cd6 and AF has gone. I’ve not changed anything the last two cycles, still taking Agnus Castus, vitamin D and folic acid. I’ve added vitamin B6 this cycle. Bit worried I maybe taking to much at the same time as the hospital told me sometimes the more you take can actually stop you from getting pregnant as not everyone needs it 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t want to stop the Agnus Castus as that has really shortened my cycles from 90+days to about 35days.

SarahTTC2020 · 13/08/2020 09:42

I think I'm 11dpo @Suki2020 and not feeling anything so not very hopeful! Heart rate isn't really doing anything so I expect AF maybe sun or mon

hollywhooo · 13/08/2020 17:22

Hiyya all,
I’ve also bought the soy but i’m only CD 16 so wont need them for ages yet!
Went for bloods this morning as doctor thinks my hospital referral should be through any day and wanted to repeat the hormone tests that they did a year ago!
Hope everyone is ok! X

kerrym87 · 13/08/2020 18:03

Hi I'm new to this thread, I was on the implant for 12 years, been ttc almost a year now, long cycles alternating between 35 and 43 at first then last 3 have been 42. Had bloods for PCOS and ultrasound 4.months after implant removal which were apparently normal. Have multiple days on and off a cycle of ewcm each cycle. Try to dtd at least every other day throughout as best we can as I'm a nurse working 12 hour shifts especially around when I think I'm ovulating (from using temping, cm, cervical position and previous cycles). Finding it hard now and think I might have ovulated early for first time in 4 months and missed my window this month (dtd 5 days before then was on shifts). Sad

SarahTTC2020 · 14/08/2020 16:03

Welcome @kerrym87 !
Did you ask to be tested for pcos and stuff because of your long cycles?
I'm 12dpo on cycle 3 of proper trying but 14 months off the pill. Cycles 33-45 days but the 33 may have been a one off last cycle

kerrym87 · 14/08/2020 18:31

@SarahTTC2020 no because of my sister's pcos- it took her 7 years to get to ivf and it's all failed and before I went on implant I had symptoms, I still have some of them. Wonder if it was too early for those tests to be accurate.

xoJellyBean · 15/08/2020 17:57

@duckii I'm thinking doing the same! Happy medium lol just waiting on my period to arrive, CD30 now.

@hollywhooo wouldn't it be amazing if we all got pregnant this month because of soy 😍
