@Suki2020 let's hope it's all good news for you 🤞🏼

Yay welcome back @xoJellyBean enjoy fw :)

duckii · 03/08/2020 04:12

Thank you @Pol96 @Newbie0818 that does give me hope!

Stay positive @Newbie0818 x

Tink2019 · 03/08/2020 07:48

@Newbie0818 how's your temp doing today? I'm in a similar situation - temp is now below coverline so wondering if AF is about to come at 8dpo! Normally have a 13dpo luteal phase...

SarahTTC2020 · 03/08/2020 10:33

@Tink2019 maybe an implantation dip then as 8dpo seems too early for AF?

@xoJellyBean that's exciting! Enjoy all the sex before tww begins haha

Cd23 for me, still waiting for a peak unless I've missed it but had low OPKs sat and sun. Will see what today's is but haven't had ewcm yet and usually get lots for 2 days

Tink2019 · 03/08/2020 10:39

@SarahTTC2020 I'm not sure, thought that was normally a one day thing, but mines been two low temps in a row...took soy isoflavones this cycle which brought forward O to CD18 (was CD26 the one before), but wondering if it's messed with my LP. Guess will have to see what happens tomorrow with temps but feeling very crampy like I do with AF. Hope O happens for you soon x

Newbie0818 · 03/08/2020 11:51

Me too @Tink2019 steady drop so I'm not even going to bother testing now :/

Tink2019 · 03/08/2020 12:22

Yours is well above the coverline @Newbie0818 so may just stabilise where it is 🤷🏼‍♀️ Temping is good for confirming O when you have shitty irregular and long cycles, but don't love it during TWW 👎🏻

Newbie0818 · 03/08/2020 15:09

@Tink2019 yeah we'll see, still spotting today so af is definitely on the way.

Suki2020 · 04/08/2020 11:38

@Newbie0818 how’s your temp today?

Newbie0818 · 04/08/2020 11:47

@Suki2020 it's clearly a steady decline so af will be with me soon. Still spotting brown so it's just a waiting game for me.
What about you?

Long Cycle girls TTC #2
Suki2020 · 04/08/2020 12:09

@Newbie0818 oh no. It’s so hard isn’t it. I find as each cycle goes by it seems to get harder and harder. My temp still seems ok but hasn’t risen as much as other cycles so not holding out much hope if I’m honest.

SarahTTC2020 · 04/08/2020 13:02

@Newbie0818 hope it's not AF 🤞

I think I may be in TWW after possibly missing my peak opk on Saturday night but DTD Saturday and Monday so 🤷🏼‍♀️ that would have been cd22.
Didn't get much ewcm but then I thought I had a blob of semen come out on the Friday but could have possibly been ewcm then 🤔
Will just have to wait and see now and keep DTD just in case

Newbie0818 · 05/08/2020 12:46

Well af is here. Feeling a bit sorry for myself today and feel a bit like a failure, but at least I'm at the 12 month mark now and the gp will help me.
Going to get plastered on our anniversary champagne now and I suppose I'm happy that my cycle is shorter at 32 days 🤷🏼‍♀️ and thankful I won't have to deal with first two days of heavy bleeding whilst on hikes this weekend 👍🏻 hope you guys have better luck x

Suki2020 · 05/08/2020 13:17

@Newbie0818 oh I’m sorry af has arrived for you. Sending hugs. Our bodies are so cruel at times.

Tink2019 · 05/08/2020 14:46

@Newbie0818 sorry shitty AF is here 👎🏻 totally get the feeling of being a failure - we're nearing a year, so have started to feel the same. Enjoy that champagne and your time away xx

Newbie0818 · 05/08/2020 16:09

@Suki2020 thank you, let's hope yours doesn't show x

@Tink2019 it's utterly poo isn't it! Do you think you'll seek help?

Tink2019 · 05/08/2020 17:20

@Newbie0818 we already have - we didn't use protection in 2018 (then did in 2019 as didn't want to be pregnant for my hen and wedding!) so technically it's coming up to two years but one properly trying. I'm also 34 and with long / irregular cycles and a fair few anovulatory there didn't seem any point waiting. Dr was happy to refer but because of covid we went private...consultant thinks I may have PCOS or endometriosis or both - I think endo is more likely to be honest having read up. I have a Clomid prescription (but trying soy isoflavones first) and if that doesn't work they'll do a laparoscopy to check for endo. Have you thought about asking for a referral? X

Newbie0818 · 05/08/2020 17:46

@Tink2019 oh that sucks, sorry you've been through all that :( well I was waiting for the 12 month mark but now I'm at that point I'll ask for a referral in September. I do worry about the pcos but surely they'll do something at this point :/

Tink2019 · 05/08/2020 17:57

@Newbie0818 Definitely worth calling sooner rather than later and would recommend going private if the wait is obscene and you can afford it, can always get an NHS referral after initial tests etc are done (basically when it starts to get pricey...that's what we're planning if it gets to it, and hoping covid will have done one by then!). All my tests have been completely normal and my husbands semen analysis was fine which is what makes me more convinced it's endo as that won't show on basic scans / bloods etc. Clomid seems to be the go to first step so imagine that's what they'll give to you unless tests indicate something else xx

Newbie0818 · 05/08/2020 18:20

@Tink2019 will have to have a think about it, we're saving towards a house deposit at the moment so we really don't want to eat into that, but also want a family. It's all a bit awkward and difficult.
I wouldn't even know what to start doing privately 😖

Tink2019 · 05/08/2020 18:54

@Newbie0818 definitely talk to your GP first, hopefully wait times aren't too bad where you are 🤞🏻 x

Newbie0818 · 05/08/2020 19:04

@Tink2019 will do. Thanks for the info :) x

Newbie0818 · 06/08/2020 10:31

Morning ladies 💛
I'm going to take a bit of a break from MN for a while as it's all getting a bit too much and I'm in a bit of a funk. Good luck and I'll catch up with you all soon 💕

I'm so sorry you feel this way, I really hope you get to clear your head, and not let things get to you. Don't give up hope and stay smiling.
Suki2020 · 06/08/2020 17:32

@Newbie0818 sorry you’re having a tough time, sending hugs. Always here if you want to chat xx
