@justlonelystars Sorry about af, but good idea with the opk's, good luck 🤞🏼

@Tink2019 I know! It's horrible! I've already convinced myself I'm preggo so I'm going with positive thoughts this cycle 🤣 though I just had loads of ewcm ?!?!

Welcome @Angelchops30 and I hope something happens for you soon. Thanks for the info about inositol! I haven't taken it the last two days because I was worried but debating taking it again. Where did you find that info with the miscarriages? I'm trying to find out if it is indeed harmful after a bfp like someone told me 🧐

Angelchops30 · 30/07/2020 11:26

@Newbie0818
Thankyou for the welcome 🙂
I did a lot of google searches and read many different articles, it's also supposed to reduce the risk of developing gestational diabetes. I've never been diagnosed with PCOS but I'd be surprised if I didn't have it to be honest, I've never had regular periods but thought nothing of it, I was also 8 months pregnant before I even found out I was pregnant with my daughter ( obviously i wasn't trying )
Hopefully you find some answers soon

So after a sleepless night I got the dreaded phone call. 2 and a half hours later than expected as well just to really make me squirm. Results reveal potential metabolic disorder and possible PCOS. Sort of what I was expecting. I've been booked for a blood test on the 10th to check if I'm ovulating, which I'm really hopeful I am as last month charting seemed to indicate I did. Also told to lose weight which I knew as well.
Did an opk which really softened the blow and cheered me up as its almost positive! CD 15 so if it happens in the next few days my cycle will be like the "old normal". Don't want to frighten it away by getting too excited but it's made the news I'm a heffer who needs to lose the podge a bit better to bear 😂
Thank you all for your supportive messages yesterday. It may not seem like much but it really helped me, especially when speaking to friends who are dismissive. I am so grateful and appreciative of these forums ❤️❤️

@Angelchops30 interesting! I might have a look and keep taking them if that's the case. Wow 8 months! Did you not have any symptoms? I'm so curious to know how big I'll get when pregnant as I'm a fairly slim 10, and I saw a pic of my mum at 8 months with me the other day and she just looked like she had a big meal 😂 she's tiny though.

Angelchops30 · 30/07/2020 11:55

Nope @Newbie0818 I had zero symptoms that I knew of, I felt tired but was working a lot and still bled from time to time but af was always stupidly unpredictable so just didn't think anything of it. Now I feel like I don't know what it feels like to be pregnant in the early stages which sounds really silly as I've obvs been pregnant before.
Definitely have a read up about the inositol I'll probably keep taking it after my bfp well until I run out at least

Angelchops30 · 30/07/2020 11:57

I was a size 8 before and a size 10 after, but as soon as I found out I seemed to grow a bump over night, it was very very surreal

Newbie0818 · 30/07/2020 13:04

@Angelchops30 wow that's amazing. It'll be so nice for you to experience it again knowing there's a bean in there x

Angelchops30 · 30/07/2020 13:17

@Newbie0818 it seems silly but I've always said that I don't really feel like I've ever been pregnant before, in my world I was only pregnant for 6 weeks ( dd was 2 weeks over due) and I have no idea what to look out for, how it feels and I'm probably going to be an anxious wreck!
I'm hoping the inositol works for us both, I definitely feel like it's pulling my body into some sort of routine at last

Newbie0818 · 30/07/2020 13:40

@Angelchops30 bless you. I'm sure you'll savour every moment of this pregnancy despite being worried!

Angelchops30 · 30/07/2020 13:52

@Newbie0818 yeah it will certainly be a new experience, when it happens that is!
Fingers crossed for all of us and our coming bfp's

It's good they're moving things along for you @Rosegold3112 - can imagine you were cursing them when they kept you hanging. That's also positive news about the OPKs, hopefully you'll get a positive soon 🤞🏻 There's a PCOS thread on here which may be worth looking at as has tips in terms of diet etc x
Suki2020 · 31/07/2020 12:44

Hi ladies how is everyone doing today?

Newbie0818 · 31/07/2020 13:18

@Suki2020 all good, temp is the highest it's ever been at 37.02 🥵 this tww feels particularly long.
How are you doing?

Suki2020 · 31/07/2020 13:38

@Newbie0818 that’s sounds promising. My temp dropped a little today so hoping it goes back up tomorrow. No symptoms here other than really sore boobs but that’s normal for me now I’m on the Angus castus. Have you got any symptoms?

Newbie0818 · 31/07/2020 14:29

@Suki2020 I'm sure it'll go back up, it would be too early to drop now anyway right?
No symptoms really that aren't just progesterone, sore boobs which is quite unusual for me (but worse in the morning), and just super tired. But probably because it's so hot outside 🥵 I really hope this is our month 💕

Pol96 · 31/07/2020 14:44

I've got my fingers crossed for you @Newbie0818 and @Suki2020! ❤️

Suki2020 · 31/07/2020 14:46

@Newbie0818 keeping my fingers crossed for us. Yeah I’m only 5DPO so I wouldn’t get anything yet. I wonder if the inositol has changed your symptoms a little. Mine definitely did my Angus castus, I was sure I was pregnant first month of taking it as I had felt things I never had before. It’s weird what our bodies do to us isn’t it.

Suki2020 · 31/07/2020 15:07

@Pol96 thank you. How are you doing?

Newbie0818 · 31/07/2020 15:27

@Pol96 thanks! How are you getting on?

@Suki2020 it may be the inositol. Only 6dpo so we're pretty much in line funny enough. When are you testing? I'll be testing on Wednesday at 12dpo as we're going away after that and I would like to surprise dh if I get a bfp.

Suki2020 · 31/07/2020 15:31

@Newbie0818 aww exciting, where are you going? I’ll only test once AF is late, hate the thought of seeing a bfn.

Pol96 · 31/07/2020 15:32

@Newbie0818 @Suki2020 I'm doing good thanks, in a weird bit now where I know there's a baby but can't feel it yet, but getting a little bump.. I just want to know it's all okay 😅 never stop worrying 😂 15+1 today, going quite fast, private scan on the 22nd (gender scan!)

Ooh 6 days till testing then newbie!

Suki2020 · 31/07/2020 15:43

@Pol96 wow 15weeks already, that has gone quick. What do you think your having? I’m going to say girl

Newbie0818 · 31/07/2020 16:40

@Suki2020 we're going to Ingleton in Yorkshire, assuming it isn't locked down!
I'm usually the same with testing, but thought I might brave it and just test this time round. I suppose if it's a bfn then I can enjoy lots of wine on our little cottage holiday 🥳

@Pol96 aww a little bump! So exciting! I know everyone always just wants a happy and healthy baby, but what gender are you secretly hoping for? 😜

Pol96 · 31/07/2020 17:43

@Suki2020 and @Newbie0818 😂 I think maybe a boy.. (I've done the skull theory, ring test, Chinese predictor) and they all came out as boy.. I really don't care what gender it is.. I always thought I'd have a girl first because I'm the youngest and have older brothers and hated it 😂 We're also due another boy in the family as its all girls and one boy so far.. My 9yo niece has even said it should be a boy as there's only one other! ... I'm just getting very impatient to find out!

Hope you enjoy your holiday @Newbie0818!

Newbie0818 · 31/07/2020 17:50

@Pol96 aww cute. Please post pics when he/she is born 😭😭
