@Newbie0818 yay so glad you’ve ovulated earlier this cycle. Seems like the inositol has helped. My temp hasn’t dropped so hoping it will tomorrow morning, as my line on my opk last night was as dark as other line so hoping today it will be darker 🤞

Newbie0818 · 26/07/2020 09:19

@Suki2020 I know! I'm happy as it means I should be around 35 days, though I've worked out that if af comes I'll be on a family break in Yorkshire 😫
I'm sure it will happen soon, fingers crossed 🤞🏼

Rosegold3112 · 26/07/2020 10:01

@newbie0818 that's so good that you're ovulating earlier! How long were you taking the inositol for?

I feel like I've been so sporadic in looking at these forums and I took a break from charting while af was here and finding it hard to get back into it. Could be good to stop me obsessing. I got in touch with the Dr's last week about my cycles and they sent me for a blood test. Getting the hormone results back next week and I'm a little nervous to say the least. The nurse has already got in touch though to say the test has revealed a b12 deficiency. Has anyone on here ever experienced that? I've got injections over the next couple of weeks and then further tests down the line to check if my body has a problem absorbing it. Googling it and it seems it can cause irregular ovulation as well as a whole bunch of other stuff. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Haven't had many if the other symptoms except maybe fatigue and lethargy but it's hard to say cos lockdown gives me zero motivation

Newbie0818 · 26/07/2020 10:38

@Rosegold3112 I literally only started it at the start of this cycle! It may well be a coincidence but from the reviews of it people have said it's worked wonders from just a week taking it. And I've only been taking the recommended dose on the tub, for pcos you're meant to double it but I don't think I'll need to at this rate. I'm chuffed.

My aunt has auto immune disorder and b12 deficiency, I had it briefly and then an iron deficiency. It can affect fertility so they may well recommend supplements, but if those don't work they'll give you an injection which is said to really give you a fertile boost. Fatigue was the big one for both of us. It's good they're helping you out so proactively :) hopefully you'll get some answers.

Rosegold3112 · 26/07/2020 10:53

@newbie0818 that's really good! Have fun with all the BDing and I hope something sticks!
I am very impressed with this doctors. We only moved to the area in December and I never finished registering and then covid happened. But they've been so helpful! I only had the blood taken Thurs and then the nurse called Fri morning to tell me about the b12. I can't help but thinking at my old surgery I would have probably had to chase them up for any results and would have likely been told they'd lost them 😂 I think my levels are so low the nurse wants me to go straight for the injections. I'm at a loss to what could have caused it though. I eat plenty of meat and dairy. When she asked about my diet I was convinced she was going to say diabetes 😩

Suki2020 · 26/07/2020 15:34

Do you think I peaked last night durning the night or am I still leading up to it? 🤷🏻‍♀️ I didn’t have a drop in temp this morning but not sure if you do every time anyway. What do you ladies think?

Rosegold3112 · 26/07/2020 16:06

@suki2020 it looks to me like your peak was yesterday, although with mine I get such different readings depending what time of day I do it, so I'd check again at 8 this evening and compare with yesterday's evening reading.
The dip in temp I don't think is necessary to confirm ovulation, only the 3 days of raised temps afterwards.

Newbie0818 · 26/07/2020 16:37

@Rosegold3112 we've literally BDd everyday for a week now 😂 and before that every other day just in case. Knackered!
Ah that's good, yeah some people just can't naturally absorb it. Glad they're helping :)

@Suki2020 I'd say last night too. Just DTD everyday for a while :)

Suki2020 · 26/07/2020 20:55

@Rosegold3112 @Newbie0818 thanks. I’ve just done another opk and it’s still high 🤷🏻‍♀️ Guess I’ll have to wait and see if I get a temp rise over the next 3 days.

Newbie0818 · 26/07/2020 21:10

@Suki2020 it might just be that you get a long surge. I'm sure you'll see a change in temps soon x

Newbie0818 · 27/07/2020 10:35

I officially have a cover line for both apps 🥳🥳 3 dpo 🤘🏼 I feel NOTHING.

@Newbie0818 AMAZING news, so pleased for you!! And...me too, although I had 3 weird temps after O and only a big rise today 🤷🏼‍♀️ Soy Insoflavones defo seem to have brought O forward though (CD15 from CD26 last time!) - now taking B6 to help luteal phase 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Tink2019 yay! That's awesome. I'm going to keep going with my Pregnacare but not sure whether to stop the inositol or not?

Tink2019 · 27/07/2020 12:09

@Newbie0818 it's so hard knowing what to stop / what to keep doing! Think I'm just going to make a snap decision at the beginning of next cycle 🙈 if the Inositol is natural and works I'd keep it up x

Tink2019 · 27/07/2020 12:19

@Newbie0818 I've just noticed how similar the pattern of our charts are - if you look at 8dpo on mine and 10dpo on yours they both spike up a little the following day, then slope down for a few days, spike up again then plummet, rise again for a couple of days then drop then rise massively...if my crosshairs were through CD18 they’d be almost identical!

Newbie0818 · 27/07/2020 12:38

@Tink2019 is that on one of my old charts earlier in the thread? Interesting!

Tink2019 · 27/07/2020 13:30

@Newbie0818 your current one on FF that you shared earlier today and my current one from FF - although your temps look much better than mine, mine seem quite high during follicular phase!

Newbie0818 · 27/07/2020 13:53

Oh I see @Tink2019 I was confused as I'm only 3dpo 😂 I think everyone's bodies are different though so I wouldn't worry too much. They are quite similar aren't they, let's hope they both stay up 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Tink2019 · 27/07/2020 13:57

That is so true @Newbie0818 - fingers crossed indeed 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Newbie0818 · 27/07/2020 19:27

Does anyone know if you're supposed to stop taking inositol after ovulation by any chance? I know it can be harmful when pregnant, so just wandering...

Suki2020 · 27/07/2020 21:27

@Newbie0818 Agnus castus you can’t take when pregnant so my gp told me to stop once you ovulate and then start taking again once your period starts. So I guess it would probably be the same 🤷🏻‍♀️

Newbie0818 · 27/07/2020 22:30

@Suki2020 hmm yeah I think I may stop it now then if my temp is still high tomorrow. Thanks :)

duckii · 28/07/2020 23:20

@Newbie0818

I officially have a cover line for both apps 🥳🥳 3 dpo 🤘🏼 I feel NOTHING.
Aww that's amazing!! Smile
duckii · 28/07/2020 23:23

I've started using Femometer opks for the first time, when I try to add a test.. the photo never comes up, only the status. So I have to manually upload the photo which is annoying.

Anyways, I'm confused. Does this mean I'm ovulating today or peak? It came up as high 60%. Confused

Suki2020 · 29/07/2020 07:57

@duckii keep testing a couple of times a day. You are either just about to peak or you’ve just peaked.

@Newbie0818 I’m now 3DPO got my cover line this morning. So a shorter cycle of 35days this time which is amazing for me. How are you feeling? How many DPO are you?
