Hey all! I've been fairly absent here since I ovulated. I was feeling pretty positive and relieved it had happened! Think I coped pretty well with the tww but now I'm anxious for af. I'm 13dpo and cd45. That's 4 days longer than my previous 2 long cycles although I wasn't tracking ovulation then. I've been spotting on and off since 10dpo and last night I really thought af would be here today. My temp has dropped below the coverline so I'm hopeful she'll be here tomorrow but have that niggling feeling that she might not come and then I'll be questioning why that is.
Also not sure I've got it in me emotionally right now to do the whole testing when I've no idea when or if I'll ovulate again 😔 I really don't know what could have brought this on. I'm starting to think I may have PCOS but I thought it normally gets diagnosed in your early 20s? I'm 30 now. I've always been on the heavier side, but my periods were always regular 30/31 day cycles. I don't think I've put on THAT much weight in lockdown. I have no scales, and it is likely I have gained some but my clothes still fit etc
I've got pregnacare and the male equivalent to take next cycle. I've read mixed things but I'm really hoping it can help to regulate my cycles. Would anyone recommend anything else? Should I wait until cd1 before I start taking them?

Hi everyone.. So I had my scan today.. I'm very pleased to say all went well and I have a healthy wriggly waving baby!! Thank you all for all your support ❤️❤️

Newbie0818 · 15/07/2020 17:25

Yay @justlonelystars that's great :)

@Rosegold3112 I hope something happens for you. I hate testing too. And pcos gets so easily missed and often people actually don't get diagnosed until much later on, so it's worth mentioning to your gp. To give you a diagnosis they say you have to have 2/3 of the criteria (found this out when I got diagnosed a few weeks ago). The criteria they base it on are a blood test, irregular periods and scans of your ovaries. But often women have it but struggle to get the diagnosis as it's so different for everyone!

@Pol96 oh I'm so happy to hear that ❤️💖😍💕 congratulations! You can relax and enjoy it all now xx

Pol96 · 15/07/2020 19:05

Thanks @Newbie0818 😊 I don't want to upset anyone by putting the pic on here but if you wanna see/guess sex I've done a thread on the pregnancy board x

Newbie0818 · 15/07/2020 19:55

Aww do you have a link to that? I would love to see x

TheDaydreamBelievers · 15/07/2020 20:07

Hey everyone, I'm wondering if I could join?

I'm 31 years old, TTC first child. Currently CD119 post pill withdrawal bleed with no period. Only positive OPK was day 60-something. Though to be honest I'm pretty bad at doing them now.

GP has run bloods and said the hormones, androgens etc look fine, although I've been googling specific values today and I think some are a bit off...

SarahTTC2020 · 15/07/2020 20:39

Oh @Pol96 that's fab news, thank you for the update, it gives us hope ♥️

Newbie0818 · 15/07/2020 21:19

You came over @TheDaydreamBelievers :) welcome!

@Pol96 omg I can't even cope 😭😭😭 beautiful beautiful beautiful. I'm genuinely so over the moon for you 💖 you have a tiny human in your belly! Here's to a happy and healthy pregnancy x

Tink2019 · 15/07/2020 22:22

Ah you must be so relieved @Pol96 🙌🏻 Glad all is fine and you can relax and enjoy the next few months. Out of interest, did you do anything differently the cycle you conceived? Sorry if you've already said this, think I joined this thread after your BFP (plus have a memory like a sieve!!) x

Pol96 · 16/07/2020 11:34

Thanks everyone.. Its still not sunk in there is actually a baby there.. 😂

@Tink2019 so my first cycle we just thought we'd see what happens.. Not a lot lol.. Second cycle (we were very lucky) I used opks and bbt tracking, only dtd once in fw, the day I had ewcm and positive opk (we'd kinda run out of steam lol) I had also cut my hand open a couple of days earlier so that wasn't great. We both took prenatals (pregnacare conception and the mens version) and used conceive plus.. Got a very faint positive at 10dpo.. X

Firevie · 16/07/2020 12:43

@Pol96 really pleased for you! Wishing you all the very best! Xxx

Pol96 · 16/07/2020 18:03

@xoJellyBean yay! That's good news re the cycle. Will you ttc next cycle now?

xoJellyBean · 17/07/2020 15:44

@Newbie0818 I'm not sure, haven't discussed it with my oh yet! Work is picking up quite a bit and then the house searching too, it's been really refreshing not tracking/temping/testing and I defo needed the break but at the same time I'm like hmm I want babies 😂 how are you getting on?

OP posts:
duckii · 17/07/2020 16:34

How is everyone? I hate having long cycles.. feels like the wait is getting longer and longer ttc. Af has finally finished.. but my cycles are averaged 42 days.

Firevie · 17/07/2020 17:15

@duckii hi how are you? I’ve had my ERPC on Tuesday so just waiting to heal and Af should then come in 4-6 weeks. My cycles have been long since coming off the pill last May. Average 35ish days but had longer ones this year 45 and one longest one so far with 52 days! I’m hoping it will go back to 35ish once my body has recovered from ERPC xx

Newbie0818 · 17/07/2020 21:23

@xoJellyBean fair enough, totally get that feeling. It just takes so long doesn't it. I'm ok, just waiting for ovulation and DTD every other day again. I just really don't want to keep testing like you said, but my cycles are so unpredictable I need to gather all the data 😫

Tink2019 · 18/07/2020 09:34

@Newbie0818 that's exactly how I feel - want to give it a rest, but will have no idea when I O is (or if I even have O'd) or when AF is due if I don't keep doing the OPKs and BBT 😩

Newbie0818 · 19/07/2020 08:02

@Tink2019 it's so annoying some days I just want to scream because I have to do all these things and some other people just do it once after coming off birth control and are lucky 😭 but hey, I guess the wait will make it all the more precious.

Tink2019 · 19/07/2020 08:58

@Newbie0818 Definitely! Once I've O'd this month I'm going to BBT, but my husband is going to write it down rather than me putting it in my app, because it drove me bonkers last cycle checking my temps in the TWW...only on CD11 though so O is probably quite far away yet!

Newbie0818 · 19/07/2020 09:54

@Tink2019 I really hope it happens for you soon 🤞🏼

I think I'm ovulating! cd 15!!! LOADS of ewcm this morning and my cervix is high soft and open! At the in laws though so can't do opk's and sneak off to DTD 😫 am I stupid for thinking the inositol is working this quickly?!
