@Cocoblue22 I need to try! Definitely pre af I'd say it's been the same story for the past 11 months 😒 I hold my breath 1dpo to 8dpo praying it doesn't happen but yeah. Thank you for your support, men don't get it, well some, I watched this fertility video aboit a couple and her partner was soooo supportive and I just wished he could be like that. Xx

@Minster2012 I wishhhh we just aren't a sexually active couple like that at all, I mean I would but he's got a low drive. I've thought about self insemination tbh. I think next cycle I'll just need to really try and take it in my stride. I know getting upset won't help but it's hard not to, gotta try though.

Hi ladies - it's been a few weeks since I've been here and I can see we're nearly on thread 9 for the June bus!!! A record I'm sure!

There are alot of names I don't recognise and I'm not sure if the girls I do know are still around... Hopefully some of you will have had your BFPs by now but if not hello again 👋🏻
I took a break from the group to help with my metal health which has been rough recently and tbh I didn't think I'd be on the June bus as my last cycle was crazy long but to my suprise I had my peak Saturday and has crazy uncomfortable ovulation pains Sunday, with all the appropriate ewcm etc to go along with it so I'm really hopeful that my cycle has gone back to its normal 32-35 days again🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

So I'm currently on cycle 5, cd27 and 1dpo 😊 it's in God's hands now but hoping and praying this is our month. Will be testing somewhere between 1st-5th of July if af doesn't make an appearance.

Anyone else testing around then? It's good to be back in the game guys 😊

Sucks not to have an emotionally supportive partner. My ex was like that thankfully now I have someone much more attuned who will make a great dad to ours and is already brill with his 2.

I have read a few papers that say for those (like me) when it takes a while coming off the pill it would have taken a while anyway. You just don't know that IFYSWIM. So if you never went on the pill it might have taken you 6 months or 2 years anyway due to egg quality, sperm etc and any gynae issues.

@Juno231 are you coming up to ovulation or just past it? RHR is sky rocketing 🚀

Ahh @Sausage1990 it's good to hear from you and glad you have made it to the TWW... I'm currently CD10 just waiting for ovulation at the end of this week. Totally understand taking a break for your mental health we must all look after that before anything else. Think there are about 10 ladies testing between the 1st and 5th so you're in good company xx

@Missgoldilocks big hugs. My partner was quite similar when we were trying for our first and it. After we spoke about it properly it wasn't that he wasnt invested, closing down from it all and playing that he wasnt bothered was his way of coping, he blamed himself that I wasnt getting pregnant as guys seem to think they can shag once and their super sperm are guaranteed to do the job so when it didn't it was a blow to his ego. Guys can be so shit with emotional support at times, thank goodness for other women to lean on so just you rant away!

@blodyn91 love a science post. I still think it unbelievable that our bodies are so complex when it comes to making a baby and kids still aren't taught the complexities of it in school! I'm 35 and still learning about what goes on in my own body.

@SmileyT yeah the CB advanced fertility monitor the expensive one the sell that records everything like a computer so it should be bloody accurate for how much it cost! X

@Mococo1 I was reading up on this last night we do have all our immature eggs but they are suspended however on the pill in the break some mature to the next stage and are susupended again so I don't think it necessarily takes 4 months after all some women get pg the first month after coming off it says that women with no previous ovulation issues should ovulate within 3 months after stopping it. It also says that taking hormonal contraceptives ages your ovaries in appearance and shrinks them and your egg reserves appear much lower than they should so these tests shouldn't be done when on the pill! Very interesting! Thanks @blodyn91 for the insight I certainly won't be taking hormonal contraceptives again! X

Do sesame seeds do anything? I had loads of them on my dinner last night!!! @SmileyT I had sesame beef stir fry and jasmine rice it was lovely but a smaller portion than I would like been a bit 🐷 recently x

@Missgoldilocks think about it that couple it won't all be perfect he might have that quality but your OH will have other qualities that that guy doesn't have. Try not to focus on that one thing he doesn't do so well but focus on all the wonderful things he does and the reasons why you fell in love with him in the first place. Maybe explain to him how you're feeling about TTC and explain how he could help you by being a bit more supportive and then when he does any little thing that is remotely supportive praise him and tell him great he is for being supportive and how much you appreciate it and he will soon learn. Men sometimes just need to be shown how to be a bit more supportive in these situations he probably is finishing it hard in his own way but isn't aware of what's going on in your head atm and I'm sure you'll get your BFP soon and then you can put this time behind you. I hope you feel better x

@Cocoblue22 @DKDK123 thank you ladies. My OH is a great man he just struggles with emotions, I have spoke to him about how I feel Ttc etc and show positive behaviours when he's supportive but it's rare in this case and I guess it is because he's frustrated that it's not in his power to fix it. We will get through this and get a bfp x

I had a break from here yesterday and can't find messages I was tagged in so I'm not ignoring you all! OH didn't get home until just before midnight last night and it was ovulation day but we managed to DTD as soon as he got back so may have been too late but it's done now, just a waiting game! I think I should be 1dpo today, will test to check later!

@Missgoldilocks sounds like you and I have the same OH! Mine just doesn't know what to say so stays quiet and then doesn't know why that upsets me more. Then it starts a vicious cycle! It does help to talk though so you should really try and communicate your feelings to him. Mine does improve after a chat but I find I end up having to remind him every month...

Period is 2 days late but testing negative. Obviously thinking it’s just going to arrive soon, but I’m always bang on the money give or take one day. Think I’m just getting hopes up as test definitely reading negative. Not sure if there’s any chance could still happen... Hope you are all doing ok!
