@notyetamumbuttrying are you both working from home at the moment, I do think it's bloody intense for a lot of people, luckily this one does 12hr shifts so I get a fair amount of alone time to miss him x

@Busybee143 there is something called seed cycling where you eat different ground seeds in each half of your cycle to help with hormone production and apparently pomegranate juice helps with a thick lining.... not sure how much difference they make but every little helps right x

Yeah we both are @SmileyT we've only got a one bed flat so we're both working from the dining table and it gets claustrophobic fast lol! On the whole tho, we've gotten on really well but would be nice to 'miss him' from time to time. We spent sat night apart this weekend and I thought I'd hate it but it was really nice lol, apart from not being able to sleep well. I'm hoping he'll be able to go bk in August, and I'm likely not bk until September! Feels so far away...

@Minster2012, ironically communication is not their forte🤔🙈 hardly had a handful of calls in all this time and nothing on writing... I have an appointment in this coming week, which will likely result on another note to post to HR, if not I will call and say I can't go in as I have no childcare, unfortunately they don't have to pay me in that case, so selfishly I much rather stay on sick leave, it's not like is not true...

@Vil10 if you shop in tesco i think it's normally down the aisle. not in the fridge bit with the juices but you can either get "pom juice" which is in the weird nobbly bottle or a ruibicon pomegranate juice in a carton. normally with like the apple orange cranberry etc

Haha just as I was typing I started getting the weirdest little pains in the womby region 😂 and I was about to write '8DPO and nothing to report', but maybe those pains mean something 🤷🏼‍♀️ who even knows. I'm not really a big symptom spotter because I know all my many pregnancies have been different and no way of telling one pain from another, but still..... 🤔

Unfortunately after years of marriage and two young kids, spontaneous sex doesn't really feature in our repertoire. Yesterday morning we did by some miracle manage to get a session in while the boys played lego together in their room. They rarely play nicely for more than 2 minutes at a time so it was an honest to god miracle. We take what we can get!! 🙌🏼

Well CD14 and still low not a high or flashing smiley in sight. I'm utterly annoyed. DH has really annoyed me too this weekend so much so we haven't DTD all weekend and I feel like I don't even want to......at all......ever. I know it's just because I'm feeling annoyed and will probably feel alright tomorrow. Laid awake until 2am last night feeling annoyed while he was snoring his head off next to me. We don't often disagree on things but when we do he proper sulks and drags it on and has a great nack of making out that it was all me then eventually agrees it was him and apologises. But why now why not next week or last week I'm so annoyed that it's in the middle of what should be FW but looks like that's not happening either 😤 x

Also I've just found out two of my good friends have rearranged their hen do's and weddings for early next year which I'm going to which would literally be either when I would be pg or due or if I did get a BFP this month then baby would be like 4 weeks old so I wouldn't be able to go and now have just paid over £400 for nothing. So now I'm like maybe this isn't the right time for me anyway and I should wait until autumn 2021 which makes me want to cry as all of these things were meant to be done by sept 2020 that's why we didn't TTC last year and now it seems we put it on hold for a year and the now sensible thing would be to put it on hold for another 18months.....I feel like crying today x

@Cocoblue22 I hate when you feel like you're in a predicament like that, but what I've learnt since TTC is it'll literally feel like it's never ever the right time to have a baby and there's always something in the way, holidays, weddings, birthdays, hen do's but if you think of it like that then you'll never have a baby, and on the other hand you can't put your life on hold and say no to everything because of TTC, I say agree to what you can and plan what you want and when you get pregnant you can cross that bridge then!
I have a holiday in August, September then next June next year all booked, and I'm hoping if I get pregnant this cycle or next I can take my baby with me next year but if I get pregnant after that I know we'll have to cancel! But I didn't want to say no to things "just in case", don't worry about future plans you just do what's best for you xx

Hi guys, hope you don’t mind me joining this thread. I’m 26 and this is cycle 2 of TTC, so early days. Haven’t been tracking ovulation but have been keeping track of my cycle for a couple of years and haven’t been on the pill for 2 either. It’s so strange feeling the psychological change in my attitude from when you’re actively trying to prevent pregnancy, to then deciding that you’re
‘Not not trying to conceive’ — because now for the past two months I’m wondering why it hasn’t happened yet (when I’m aware that’s also normal!) I don’t know why we’ve said we’re not not trying because we are actually trying. Anyway, I just can’t stop thinking about it and would just like to say hi to you all as I’ve been reading a few threads recently and I’ve found you all to be so supportive during what can be a tough time for a lot of people xx

@Vil10 yeah that's why I've still said yes to everything as no one knows we are TTC but I feel like with hen dos in particular I'd be letting everyone down I guess I'd just have to pay the money for my place and not go (unless someone else in the meantime decided they wanted to go and took my place but that's probably unlikely). I don't think I could do two weekends either heavily pg or leaving a baby behind i just wouldn't enjoy it but I thought if we didn't get pg then I'd regret not booking my place when everyone else went it's so hard. You can join me in the pissed off Monday Club x

Also DH has told me he was up for it last night which is not how it seemed grrr!

@Cocoblue22 I wouldn't put off TTC for hem dos and weddings, one of my bridesmaids had a young baby at our wedding & was fine, I know why you are upset but you never know how long these things will take. It's an arse about the money but not happened yet.

@Minster2012 how annoying!! I really wanted to try everything this month too and get it right! We've DTD the 2 days before ovulation but still I'd feel better if we had today too! He finishes his normal working day on a Monday at 5 then overtime can be any time up until midnight🙄

Morning ladies!

My temps have definitely risen right? Or am I going crazy? Which means I'm definitely 6dpo now 🙌🏼

So AF showed up in full force today! 😔 Felt a bit sorry for myself and cried last night after the spotting... Anyway... I'll be grand in a few days time again and will pull up my girl pants soon!

Lessons learned from this cycle
~ don't try to symptom spot in the TWW, you only drive yourself mad
~ don't test until after AF is due, again driving myself mad squinting, holding tests up to the light
~ try to take it easy, relax and distract myself with other things...

Hopefully I will keep my word this cycle!! 😩

@notyetamumbuttrying I think it's fair to say if you can spend 24hrs a day with somebody for 2months it's true love and if you don't miss a bit of alone time by the end of lockdown I'd be surprised. My brother was going mental with 2 kids under 10 to home school and his partner working from home in a 2 bed flat but he has said that now they are all out the house again during the day he does miss the noise 😂

@Vil10 yeah I did read about the morning sex thing, only really works for me when OH isn't working at all as when he works he gets up at 5.30am or gets in from a 12hr shift at 7.30am and there is no coaxing him into sex 😂

@Cocoblue22 I sound a bit like your OH I hold such a terrible grudge, hope you make up soon and that includes some great make up sex 😉 I've got a hen dos and weddings that look like they are being pushed back but after 3 months of trying I'm not putting anything on hold anymore as just think it could take a year and I'd kick myself but it's such a personal choice of when is best for you. My friend who is getting married was due a hen do in June and her sister and one of her bridesmaids were pregnant so now have tiny babies but they were just planning on doing the day time and not staying over so if it's close to home you could maybe do that. Sending you loads of virtual hugs x

@Maybe333 sorry AF showed but you've got some good plans for next month, totally agree with not looking for squinters I always test on 12dpo look at the test after 3mins then throw it away I think line eyes is one obsession I can't be getting into it honestly drives people mad 😠

Had some time off feeling sorry for myself AF is in full swing now and HCG is barely visible on the IC strip so I think I'm ready to go again after bleeding subsides!

I mean we can understand it really but we just need them to be active for a bit to get those swimmers😂 I've got about 24hours from ovulation havent I so hopefully if we DTD tonight I might be okay?? Also just read that getting ovulation pain in both sides at the same time could mean twins might be conceived!!
