@SmileyT thank you :) just gone via my app this month but if we have no luck then I will start tracking. We have had a couple of occasions over the last year where we tried using the app but weren’t successful. So I think tracking will be the way forward

@Cocoblue22 I have done exactly the same- even read how to detox post pill 🙈 I reckon 3 months probably, so I'm most likely out, as it takes 3 months to make an egg. But some do ovulate first cycle back- so holding on to hope

Just been reading that depo injection takes 9-12 months to fully leave people's systems! And that a long cycle can indicate you haven't ovulated which I didn't know either x

I'm completely convinced I'm out again this month 😭 x

Soo just had a LOT of EWCM, so I think peak will be tomorrow, although I do wonder if I should do OPKs as well as CB tests as I could detect peak a bit earlier than I do with CB. What do you guys think? Do many of you do both?

@Cocoblue22 don't count yourself out, i was on depo for over 18 years & last may i stopped then nov has period & my IVF clinic scanned me & all was well (except my low egg reserves) so that's 6 months

@KB13 how frustrating for you, are you going to track after this one?

Aww @smileyt really hoping that this month is yours♥️ I know I've read so much about being fertile afterwards and actually if this pregnancy had made it I would have been convinced it was true as I was literally pregnant again straight away! (After waiting the one recommended cycle) But now after two losses in the space of 2.5months the idea of being pregnant again is a bit daunting so don't really think il be pregnant again a third time in a row but this amazing group has worked wonders xx

hey everyone very quickly caught up before bed! trying not to be on my phone too much at the moment!

@Cocoblue22 i was on the depo injection until june last year which is when i had my last shot! i thought i was back to normal because i have had my periods etc and the doctor explained that i probably was but that's why there doing my 21 day bloods next cycle because it will have been just under 12 months since the last shot of depo would have worn off x

Sorry guys think I confused everyone I wasn't on the depo injection was on the combined pill but I was reading about that then it said about that injection! I was just shocked how long it stays in your system for and I thought the pill was bad taking a few months to wear off! X

I thought we were all born with our egg reserve? Whats this about 120 days!?!

Well I'll be honest, got my usual 8dpo pre af cramps so I'm really holding no hope. I know you aren't out till af comes but I know my body like the back of my hand and clock work 8dpo/9dpo cramps is a big one. I need to find a way to just forget about trying while trying because it's not healthy 😩 honestly think I'm losing my mind and my partner really isn't emotionally supportive I can't cry to him and he tell me it's going to be okay lol or we are in this together, you know some supportive shit!? He gets so annoyed when I talk about it or just stays silent. I feel super alone I can't talk to any friends in real life about it because they've never been through it so don't understand why it's upsetting. And honestly I want him to be there for me as it should be 😔 I dunno I just feel super shit now and desperate for a way to ignore the fact I'm trying while carrying on trying 😐 it's all I think about and as soon as I get the obvious pre af symptoms I'm just so sad. Doesn't help me and oh had a fight today all because I asked him to help around the fucking house 🤬

@blodyn91 and @Cocoblue22, I came off the pill in December... I then had a really light period in January, nothing in February, a really light one in March which was very stop start stop start, and finally a more "proper" period in April and each month since. So, from my personal experience there is certainly something in the whole "it could take 3-6 months to get the pill out of your system thing." I'm now on month 6 so pleeeeeeease let it be gone now!!

@Missgoldilocks sounds like you're having a rough day. Big hugs 💙 it's literally all I can think about too and I was venting this morning too so we all get how you feel! I'm sure he just doesn't understand most men aren't tuned into woman's emotianal needs and we have to spell it out for them most of the time. Is there any way you can try and take your mind off it a bit. Tbf they could be implantation cramps now af cramps? X

@Mococo1 im so sorry to hear you've been through it twice back to back. I know it won't make you feel better but don't give up you will get your BFP it's just so heartbreaking what you've been through x

In an attempt to be healthier I've eaten much less today and I'm in bed absolutely starving 😩 hate going to bed hungry didn't even have dinner that long ago but it clearly was not filling at all x

Oh no @Missgoldilocks that's super shit I'm sorry you rowed & you feel he's not supportive. How about just DTD every other day & try to forget about it then?

Wow, I just had the most intense stabbing pain in a side, where I imagine my ovaries would be, lasted a couple of minutes too, I usually get a few days of cramps when ovulation should be, but not this, if regular cycle, ovulation was due yesterday

@LV1987 that makes sense, my periods have all been very just spotting for a day, I stopped the pill mid November...

@katao thank you I'm all good, it gets easier I'm learning to be strong! I also thought we were born with our egg reserve !? Does everyone mean it takes 4months to get to a state where it can then fully mature? I did a biology degree I should bloody know this 😂

@cocoblue22 oh hun don't starve yourself! And thanks for the kind words 🥰 I'm also shocked at how long depo stays inside you it should come with a warning if you're ttc as it doesn't seem like a short term contraceptive from the sounds of it!

@Cocoblue22 am I right in thinking you are doing the CB tests? If you're getting a blank circle that doesn't mean you haven't had an oestrogen surge, if you're not using CB just ignore me 🤦🏾‍♀️

@KateColx yep he is all done with nights and the EPO and grapefruit juice is doing well for me aswell, here's to a happy fertile week for us both and lucky OH getting a bit of mouth action 😉

@KateColx This diagram shows it well, so we are all born with our eggs developed up to a stage, then at puperty a few are chosen each month to develop further. This further development can take 120 days. FSH is the hormone that is released to develop them, when on the pill FSH isnt released, so I think my eggs have started developing 2 months ago. Ive only had really light periods so far which sort of matches up. But... during the 7 day brake off the pill, sometimes FSH is released so some eggs do start developing, hence some get pregnant straight away.

*I might not be 100% accurate! Just read a couple of papers. Basically If im not ovulating properly yet Im blaming the pill. If it wasn't for corona I would still be on it till October. So if I end up waiting till April 2021 to TTC, It will be around the time the pill would be totally out of my system with 2020 plans. So makes me feel like corona has helped me understand my body a bit better and much sooner 😄 (trying to stay optimistic here)
