@blodyn91 sorry I can't remember if you've said before, but do you normally ovulate around the same day each month? Or is this your first month testing? I'm hoping peak will be tomorrow for me, so hopefully yesterday, tomorrow night and Monday night should cover it 🤞🏻

Also going to try and stay relaxed this cycle, wondering if I need to try and take up yoga or something?! 😂 work has been super stressful recently 😩 so I'm worried that's going to effect it.

@2020mission I don't use the OPKs, but I think people do it once a day until they think they're getting close to ovulation and then they start testing a few times a day to make sure they don't miss their peak.

@2020mission I use them once a day leading ip to ovulation then when I get into my fertile week I start testing twice a day, I might test for a third time today though in about an hour x

@Franklydear that's awful! What do you do for work? It must be so hard with ds. My cousin has ASC too but luckily my aunt works from home too. It must be so hard for parents of SEN pupils who need structure.

@Newbie I work for the royal mail, but in office with the public, people tend to figure they would be a better employer, my tactic is usually to tell them this is what I am doing cos it works for my family and you can accommodate me or try to fire me, it's easier to accommodate me, I never ask for the moon, but often they need their arm twisted, we managed a good routine between me and DH, I couldn't do it alone, asd parents usually need to be feisty.

@Vil10 yes try this one for after ovulation if you want something short but effective, I'm always bouncing off the walls so can't do anything longer than 15minutes, but absolutely loads on YouTube m.youtube.com/watch?v=z_oUeOJsqtE I reckon if you keep testing tonight premom will register today as peak and tomorrow as ovulation, tbh I wouldn't get too hung up on whether it's today or tomorrow because it could actually happen at 11pm or 1am and won't make too much difference to anything ☺️

@2020mission I use the cheapie opks once a day until I near ovulation then ramp it up to 3 times a day when i think my peak will be x

Ooh would love some surprise sex! Hubs doesn't know the word spontaneous unfortunately lol! It's always bloody me making the effort. Even tho I've said over and over to make an effort but I'm yet to see it 🤷🏾‍♀️will be very happy once I conceive lol!

@SmileyT just done an ovaview and easy@home one now, I know it's probably too late but it's saying the one earlier is my peak so I'll test again tomorrow and see!

@notyetamumbuttrying @Missgoldilocks I actually have been bugging OH about not being spontaneous especially since starting ttc but think he finally has taken some initiative thank god!! And yes he is a good egg and we are constantly laughing, especially when he walks out the shower with a boner 😂

@SmileyT yeah premom has moved ovulation to tomorrow! OH usually gets up for work earlier than what I do so I've told him he can't leave before we've had sex in the morning😂

@catherinettc I know it's never nice having AF show up but I'm glad you can move on from that month and start afresh. I imagine your stress levels have been all over the place this month 😘

Girls, I'm sure I read something on here about lower back pain, dull ache on this thread before.. Can anyone remember if that was a good sign or a negative one?

Hoping this is it now for my slight high tests getting tired of testing now 🙈 I'm unsure whether I've been feeling any ovulation pain today, definitely felt something but could be any amount of things 😂 so I'm taking my peak now either as CD14 or CD16 unless something miraculous happens over the next few days when I continue testing just to be sure! I will probably regret saying it but I just want to be in TWW now 🤞🏼

@Missgoldilocks after our IVF 3 days later (when they expect implantation to occur then or around) I was also shopping & bent over with 2 sharp stabbing pains where I went "ooo ooo" I as actually on the phone to DH at the time. I got BFP so yes stabbing can be implantation 🤞🏻it was all I felt different

@smileyT LOVE a bit of spontaneous sex high five! It shouldn't all be us! And I'm def hoping all my pains etc mean SOMETHING has happened this week so that's good.

Also loving @Notyetamumbuttrying hungover swimmers. Definitely many a baby conceived in similar circumstances, lady nights sex here def had drunken swimmers so they prob went backwards & fell out 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

@vil10 I will def try to get some of those sticks, clear blue are laughing at me and they sound good. I'm a bit rubbish at POAS for OPKs in the day but I totally get the POAS in general thing to feel like you are in control don't worry

@2020mission I got 50 to start with & test every hours in the day when I get my flashing smiles from clear blue, but I haven't got a peak yet, but I'm a bit rubbish, I drink a lot of fluid which can dilute so it all depends. 50 has lasted me 2 months

@Minster2012 I'm 11dpo (but I had two peaks so potentially could be 13dpo although all my apps say 11dpo given my temps etc).. Just popped on to update, seems it isn't my month this month after all my high hopes 😔 just started spotting pink blood there, not brown 😔 fairly sure that's it, never had implantation bleeding with my other 2 so doubtful it's that 😔

Hopefully mine comes through soon too then @SmileyT he's really doing my head in now 😝

What's this about seeds and pomegranates? I've never heard of this x

@Busybee143 seed cycling is where you eat certain seeds at pints in the cycle, pumpkin & flaxseed pre ovulation & sesame & sunflower after. To try give protein for eggs then for lining/implantation etc. I'm trying that, I'm all for "what isn't medicinal could help" & even my doctor said eat more protein for egg production...so I've done an "eggs for my eggs dance" & eaten loads of eggs too! Pineapple juice (ass fruit juice) can increase egg white creamy mucus (ewcm) in lead up to ovulation. Tastes like ass, the Tropicana golden grapefruit is palatable! & pomegranate juice is known in the IVF world to help build up womb lining (I did IVF & my lining wasn't thick enough, I drank it & 2 weeks later it was borderline ok, I got a BFP) it may well have been the extra 2 weeks of Estrogen but pomegranate juice is filled with anti oxidants & recommended for heart patients too so meh can't hurt. Note- it also tastes like ass fruit 😂
