Thou will not get stressed.

Thou will symptom spot casually and not obsessively.

Thou will not test before 12dpo.

@claireb707 fantastic thank you. I'm still only doing them every morning but I'm tempted to do an evening one as I think I'm close to O

krj2608 · 20/06/2020 19:21

Well done @claireb707! Hopefully will be finished to enjoy in the hot weather arriving soon.

Our garden was finished last week. Only plus side to new cycle was enjoying a gin in the sun this afternoon!

He's hoping to finish it by next weekend 😁😎

@ALew15

Update. CD10 today and 5th day of flashing smileys. Predict I'll ovulate in the next day or two (CD12 last month) Been DTD every other day at the moment and Tried the Preseed out last night!
Might be a really stupid question but when you get the smiley with the ovulation test do you DTD everyday you get a smiley?
Babyyno2 · 20/06/2020 21:20

@Sansa87 what else did you get included with the kit?
I've ordered the CB test strips one do you think they will be okay to try and use?

Sansa87 · 20/06/2020 21:34

@Babyyno2 this is the one I got, mainly because i love a good app. I only ended up using 7 of the sticks.

The July Pact....
SCIAGx · 20/06/2020 21:37

Hi 👋
Can I join please? July is going to be our first month trying for Baby No 2. Currently on Cycle day 4 so AF is here. According to my app I will be ovulating around 30th June so testing around 12/13th July. We were so lucky and got pregnant first cycle with DD who is 2 and hoping we have it as easy this time but you just never know what's in store

LeopardLover · 20/06/2020 22:19

Hello to all the new faces! 😊

@claireb707 Oh amazing! Today we continued ripping out the old kitchen and destroyed the old stone fire place. We've started on the awful build in wardrobes and tomorrow we'll start filling up the skip! Looking forward to a bit of down time in the sun next week.

@SCIAGx I'm also CD4 😊

LeopardLover · 20/06/2020 22:21

@kirinm Is this unusual for you? I really want to identify ny ovulation pains this month (with help from OPKs)!

kirinm · 20/06/2020 22:26

@LeopardLover before my DD I had very obvious ovulation pains and symptoms like sore boobs etc but they pretty much stopped once I had her. Last month I started getting aches but I think that was either the day before or day or ovulation and quite short lived.

ALew15 · 20/06/2020 23:12

@Babyyno2 we've DTD every other due during flashy smilies. DH can't do every day. Hope it's enough for us.

Alyosha · 21/06/2020 18:05

@SCIAGx welcome! Also on CD4 trying for baby no. 2. We also got lucky first time & conceived first cycle, this is now second cycle after a chemical in the cycle just gone!

Ohh fingers crossed for us both 🤞🏻 we will be testing around the same time then. How old is your first?

LeopardLover · 21/06/2020 21:44

@kirinm It's so interesting how things things can change! I need to start paying more attention and see if I notice a pattern.

Alyosha · 21/06/2020 22:33

@SCIAGx first is 20 months, how about yours? I'll be testing extra late this time to try and avoid the false positives, it's so demoralising

MrsCheekyFace · 21/06/2020 22:34

AF has only lasted for 2 days for me for the last few months - does anyone know if this is a good or bad this for TTC?

ALew15 · 22/06/2020 07:40

@MrsCheekyFace my periods are quite short too and I wonder this. Last month I only bled for a day and spotted either side of it and this month bled for 3 short days.

kirinm · 22/06/2020 07:51

CD7 and I'm starting the OPKs. Last week seriously dragged!

ALew15 · 22/06/2020 08:00

@kirinm are you doing CB? I'm CD12 and been flashing for 7 frigging days! Feel like throwing it out the window

SCIAGx · 22/06/2020 08:13

@Alyosha DD is almost 26 months. Yeah I think the longer you can wait the better. I remember with DD starting at 10 dpo and didn't get a positive til 14dpo. I'm definitely not testing before 12dpo but really should wait until 14. I just know I'll be dying to test haha

Alyosha · 22/06/2020 08:17

@SCIAGx it's so hard to wait! With no.1 I didn't get a positive until 19dpo, but last cycle had a faint positive (that then faded) at 17 dpo. I'm going to attempt to make it to 19dpo again before testing, to try and avoid getting all excited about a chemical again!

myheadisajunglejungle · 22/06/2020 08:24

Can I join please? CD 6 on my first cycle TTC no.3. Got pregnant first cycle with the first two, not expecting to this time though. AF due 13 July. I 'knew' very early on the last two times because of needing to pee in the night, very sore boobs, etc. but neither showed on FRER. Must be more patient this time!

SCIAGx · 22/06/2020 08:25

@Alyosha oh I can imagine how demoralising that was for you 😢 yes definitely try and wait, I'm going to. Will see how that goes! Good luck 🤞🏻

SCIAGx · 22/06/2020 08:28

Hi 👋 @myheadisajunglejungle
I'm cycle day 6 today too 😊

claireb707 · 22/06/2020 09:26

Are you only testing once a day? If so you may have missed your peak. I'd be testing 3 times a day if you have had flashing for that many days.
