Thou will not get stressed.

Thou will symptom spot casually and not obsessively.

Thou will not test before 12dpo.

Good to see some of you are also starting using these for this next cycle :)

AlisonLew15 · 19/06/2020 13:04

I'm CD9 today and been using CB OPKs since CD5, had 4 days of flashing smiley now so just waiting on my peak. Is DTD every other day during this enough? Don't want to ware DH out.

gypsywater · 19/06/2020 13:05

@AlisonLew15 Wow had no idea fertile days could be thate early in the cycle! Do you have short cycles?

AlisonLew15 · 19/06/2020 13:09

I know! Me either. My last 2 cycles have been 25/26 days. Before that 30 days but I wasnt really tracking then. I ovulated on CD12 Last month, my periods are really light and don't last long at all. 3 days max

AlisonLew15 · 19/06/2020 13:09

Sorry @gypsywater that reply was for you x

LeopardLover · 19/06/2020 13:13

@gypsywater Yes CD7 sounds good! We're all in it together. 👍🏻

@kirinm This is such a positive step and will be great for your mental health too! I plan to move more this month too.

@claireb707 Twins this month! Although I'm starting CD8 I think. 😊

@AlisonLew15 I was about to ask the same question! My period lasts about 5 days minimum. 😅

LeopardLover · 19/06/2020 13:14

@AlisonLew15 Oh wow, that's so interesting! This is why I'm so keen to use OPKs.

gypsywater · 19/06/2020 13:16

@AlisonLew15 I have really light and short periods too and my cycles are 26-27 days. So glad I've got these tests arriving shortly so I can get going. Will prob start them from CD5 now!

AlisonLew15 · 19/06/2020 13:17

@LeopardLover my period last month was heavy for a day and spotting the day before and after. It came 5 days early too. I thought it was implantation but it wasn't. This month is was an easy 3 days. I don't know if light short periods are a good thing or not?

This is only my second month using the OPKS and I'm trying to do everything by the book this month so if that doesn't work I don't know what will! 😂

gypsywater · 19/06/2020 13:17

How long have you guys been trying?

claireb707 · 19/06/2020 13:17

My periods since christmas have been 3 days too. Before that I was pretty standard 4 days with the occasional 5 day

claireb707 · 19/06/2020 13:18

This cycle 11 for us 😢

AlisonLew15 · 19/06/2020 13:18

@gypsywater I was advised on another thread to do the OPKs early so you don't miss the change in your surge from low > high > peak. If you do them too late and it just picks up a flashing (high) they might not be accurate

gypsywater · 19/06/2020 13:26

@AlisonLew15 thanks for these tips! Do you do them once a day or twice? I think I have 20 tests on the way

AlisonLew15 · 19/06/2020 13:31

@gypsywater I'm just doing them once a day with my first morning wee. I did consider doing an afternoon/early evening one the closer I get to peak day but I don't think I will bother. They're expensive 😬

gypsywater · 19/06/2020 13:51

@AlisonLew15 Twice a day would definitely add up!

claireb707 · 19/06/2020 14:03

I use cheapies as well as the cb digital ones. I use both from cd7 once a day till I get first flashing and then switch to multiple times a day with just the cheapies. Wgen I get an almost positive cheapie I add in another cb digital one to make sure I catch peak.

ohsotrying · 19/06/2020 14:13

im starting to use clear blues today, my cycle usally 28/30 days but its been a bit erratic recently

AlisonLew15 · 19/06/2020 15:43

@ohsotrying I thought because mine had gone from 30 to 25/26 that it was classed as irregular but apparently it's fine and still regular. A few days difference is normal x

krj2608 · 19/06/2020 16:37

How's everyone doing today? I'm a bit more positive today. Last night involved a few tears due to a chemical pregnancy.

Is anyone using cheap opks this time around? I'm indecisive whether to use them or not.

Considering taking a supplement again called magnesium ok as I fell pregnant straight away with these both pregnancies previously. Anyone else used this before?

krj2608 · 19/06/2020 16:53

I have just ordered //www.wassen.com/products/magnesium-ok. Fingers crossed they help this time around x

LeopardLover · 19/06/2020 17:23

@AlisonLew15 I'd be interested to know if period length or cycle length make much difference -, I'm assuming not!

I'm really looking forward to doing things by the book this month - love a good bit of data!

@claireb707 I will say in the past year I've noticed my period drop to 4-5 days some months! This could be your lucky cycle. 🌟

@krj2608 Glad you're feeling positive and I'm so sorry about the chemical pregnancy. 😔 I haven't heard anything about magnesium supplements so intrigued by this!

krj2608 · 19/06/2020 18:01

@LeopardLover when ttc #1 it took around 14 months, I started these the month I conceived. Then started just before trying for #2 and it happened that month too x

LeopardLover · 19/06/2020 18:16

@krj2608 So many great reviews on Amazon! Might order these for next month. 😊

Sansa87 · 19/06/2020 18:23
