Little bit of background -
Cycle #3 TTC after MC in December
This month doing SMEP, tracking BBT and OV (CB advanced and Femometer strips), also drowning myself in grapefruit juice 😂 and will take Calc Fluor in TWW.

@chloedancer897 I've never had it before so not sure what I'm looking for or if it's meant to come with cramps.
Mine is deffo more than spotting but less than af.

Its less than af but not spotting, slight cramp but not painful

@DBTJ is this tour first cycle post MC? Sorry, I know you’d have said but I get confused!
Have you had it just today? Do you need a pad?

I had back to back MC so this would be my 1st period. Last Mc May 22nd.
It just started today no need for a pad yet

Took another frer this morning and it looks like a faint line has tried to appear haha and I say tried because it’s just the edges of the line but nothing in the middleS my sister can see it. But it’s not a full line and could just be an evap or a dud test.

I did throw up in my mouth this morning first thing sorry tmi and had to swallow it as I was barely awake and still lying in bed. Not sure if that means anything

@micht4 sounds as if ur fertile now.. maybe it was ur body trying to ovulate before but due to stressing it was holding off ? Fingers crossed for you

Thanks @2020wish. I hope so. Now I’m panicking as we didn’t DTD yesterday, thought I was totally out 🙄. Definitely teaching me a thing or two about stressing too much about all this

@DBTJ it’s hard to say, just see how it goes over the next day or two. It could just be a shorter cycle after MC or FC it’s IB 🤞🏼

@Micht4 tbh I don’t think you can even see it in a pic. I honestly think maybe I’m getting line eyes and nothing is there at all lol hahah why did I start testing at 7dpo

Just get DTD tonight and every night until ewcm disappears

Let’s hope it’s just an early line and soon it’ll be nice and clear 🤞🏼

@MichT4 a while ago I have shared stats on this chat ( is there a search option ? I can't imagining scrolling so many pages 😅? on probability of getting pregnant per different day prior to OV and on OV. And sperm can survive up to 5/6 days . So don't worry!

Also recently I was reading about gender specific sperm. lady sperm is slower and survives longer and therefore, it appears that it is better to have intercourse several days before OV. Guy sperm is fast, and therefore it is more likely to have boy if intercourse is done very close to ovulation. Any experiences or ideas on this, ladies ?

Thank you I do remember the post. I know it’s silly to worry about one day, we DTD every day previous to yesterday for quite a stretch. And too late to change it now anyway! So will just get back on the case 😂

@HopeForRainbowbaby I read this too! I think it was in Expecting Better by Emily Oster, but I put all the pregnancy and parenting books in the loft after the MC and haven't gotten them back out again so I can't check the reference or whether she thought the evidence supported or was insufficient (she's pretty blunt on evidence quality, which I like).

Sadly, the Amazon LookInside doesn't go that far... anyone else?

I've just had the hospital ring me up to confirm my scan appointment even after confirming with them multiple times that they have definitely noted I've had a mc 😞

Anyone else experience this?
I understand they're under a lot of pressure and strain but it just completely knocked the wind out of me especially at a time I felt I was doing quite well.

@MichT4 yeah I done my POAS still darker than what I get normally but nowhere near peak yet. Will do another one soon.

@mrsssk I think most of us had an experience of being called to either confirm a scan or being told we had missed ours. It's really upsetting, I hope you are ok xx

@VP91x I'm not surprised that they forget and still call up. It's just a bit painful to be reminded like that. But I'm doing ok thanks for asking. Hub has made me a nice cup of tea which is doing wonders!

Though now worrying about my caffeine consumption and whether I should switch it out for the delish grapefruit or Pom instead lol

@mrsssk I'm glad you're okay, a cup of tea is a healer of all pain. I love tea! I've been drinking decaf tea for so long. PG tips - I recommend if you fancy the switch. I have a coffee most days though too.

That’s it I’m a pic there... the faint line is starting where the black line is I’ve drawn. It’s clearer I’m person but again could be nothing. I’m only 8dpo. This time last month I was getting absolutely nothing until 10dpo

@mrsssk yes they rang me so many times I was almost going to put a complaint in. Anytime I felt better they rang me and completely knocked me off

@2020wish I can see a bit of a mark at the top, but obviously can’t be sure. Excited to see it hopefully develop over the next few days

@VP91x bloody POAS! I drink PG tips decaf too, and decaf coffee. I was a big coffee drinker and when I was PG obviously stopped it. The headaches were something else! So I’ve just stayed off it now. If I’m out or someone makes a caf coffee/tea I drink it but not often now. Love a cuppa!

@mrsssk I remember getting that call too. Heartbreaking. No idea how these surgeries can’t be more joined up

@2020wish I'm due AF on Sunday so going to hold off until then. But the temptation is high!!!

@mrsssk I'm so sorry That really sucks. I spent that first couple of hours of being numb before reality settled in emailing NCT and my yoga teacher and everyone else. And then I forgot to take the date for my whooping cough vaccination out of Google calendar. It creeps up on you. You really deserve better from the NHS.

@DBTJ I hope it is IB for you. How long will you hold off to test? I too am freaking out. Having announced AF arriving here yesterday, it's... stopped. It's probably just spotting and my body getting used to its post-MC rhythm. Probably.

But, whatever happens for me this time, I will say - I was sure the IB last time I got pregnant was the start of my period, and then it wasn't. So huge fingers crossed you get the outcome you want.

I am such a bad MNer. We were so trying-not-trying until this month that I haven't even written down when we DTD. I don't have any tests in. I am going to go mad. I am going to get fired for being on MN in the middle of the day.

@2020wish based on the length of this cycle, I’ll be testing in August 😂

I'm 12dpo and I did a test Bfn I thought I saw a line however clearly my eyes were deceiving me. I will see how the bleeding goes if it stops I will retest. I have mixed emotions at the mo.
How was your first day of bleeding and dis you have any cramps

@MichT4 yay for EWCM!!! I got it 2 days in my last cycle (a Monday and Wednesday, so weird) And they were the only days I dtd plus maybe the Saturday, and I got pregnant from that! So naturally now I swear by it 😂 ewcm days are the days to get busyyyy...get to it!!
