Little bit of background -
Cycle #3 TTC after MC in December
This month doing SMEP, tracking BBT and OV (CB advanced and Femometer strips), also drowning myself in grapefruit juice 😂 and will take Calc Fluor in TWW.

@Dipsy77 I totally know what you mean. Another guilty party here!
I’m not saying to stop thinking about TTC but stress is definitely a big player in things like weight loss. Your stress hormone is dominant so overpowers anything else. When I had PCOS it was linked with my cortisol. It was so high that my reproductive organs shut down because your body can only handle so much. Easier said than done but if you can try and manage the stress a little bit, both may well fall into place.
Do you think there’s anything you can do to shift your focus a little? xx

@Saim86 it may be! Frer is a lot more sensitive so it could be still picking up hormones from previous pg. How long ago did you test with the CB? Hormones should be coming to 0 if you've tested negative already although I have seen people who's levels drop quite quickly and then take longer to drop the last few miu/ml or whatever the unit was

I haven't yet, I only tested with the 2nd frer this morning. But I have had 2 full cycles & 2 periods after MC so this is Deffo a pregnancy, just praying it's not a chemical so will test with the cbd on this weekend to confirm before I pop it into hubby's Father's Day gift bag

@Saim86 have you had any of those negatives on the same days as your FRERS? If all the negatives were 27 May then I’d say this could be a new pregnancy. That said, it’s a higher sensitivity. Maybe test again on a digital?

@MichT4 hahaha I'm sooo excited I don't even know if I can contain it till then. My nausea is getting worse so really hoping it doesn't give me away!!

@MichT4 managed to grab him inbetween games for a quickie now I've got my legs up on the wall because forgot my conception cup 🤣🤣 the life!! I honestly think the GF juice has made a difference! Xx

It is so heartwarming to see the bfps! Who is testing in the next couple of days?

I had my appointment with gynae consultant today - pretty inconclusive sadly. She is pretty sure that my rheumatoid arthritis is the cause of my consecutive miscarriages and so will only get tests after she has referred me to rheumatologist for their advice. Essentially my body sees the developing embryo as an invader and then kills it

Asked about conceiving again and she said I need to be pragmatic and understand it could result in another miscarriage (meaning a total of 3 successive losses and therefore a referral to the emc) or a healthy pregnancy. It's a horrible gamble.

I asked about aspirin and she said without knowing the reason for my losses, she can't advise it. I'm tempted to take it anyway..? Any thoughts anyone?

@Diorissimo1985 I’m sorry you didn’t get answers, but also it’s good to feel like you’re making steps towards some answers.
How are you feeling after all that info? Do you know when your rheumatologist appointment will be?

@Diorissimo1985 oh I'm so sorry you got that news! I had no idea rheumatoid arthritis could affect the body like that. How do you feel about continuing to TTC? When would you be able to see the specialist? X

@Niisa I am beginning to think it’s from last month as when I tested after mc I only used Lloyd’s and it had a faint line retested with Lloyd’s and Clearblue and was negative this month the only ones picking a pregnancy a frer I’m either early or it’s from mc but I did feel cramping deep in my uterus about a week ago

@MichT4 no they are on the same day so maybe it’s not my month after all......fingers and toes crossed for next month and we didn’t really dtd every other day as we had redecorating going on

@saim86, maybe wait a couple of days and try again. Then you’ll know for sure either way. Sorry if I missed it but do you know when you’re expecting AF?

@MichT4 @VP91x thanks, not sure when referral will be - apparently quite a wait
Talked about it with DH and we've agreed to try again this month and brace ourselves for another loss, but know that it will lead to referral at emc.
Going to chuck everything at it this month - anti-inflammatory diet, extra folic acid, omega 3, yoga, and have made appointments with acupuncturist and reflexologist 😂
I think I might just start on the aspirin as it doesn't seem to do harm? Does anyone know when I should start on that? Understand it's the low dosage one.

@Diorissimo1985 wishing you all the luck for this month!! ❤️❤️ I hope if you do fall pregnant again you dont suffer another loss.

I know @2020wish is taking aspirin so she might be able to shed some light on it.

@Diorissimo1985 feel for you so much. Are you on any medication for your rheumatoid arthritis? If so maybe phone your pharmacist in the morning to check none of your meds interact with aspirin if you are thinking of starting it. if taken in the wrong circumstances it can cause platelet issues and increase risk in stomach bleeding when taken with some other types of medication. Hope you soon get some answers and help xx

@VP91x the change I’ll be doing this month is going back to GP to see what they say. When I had my second MC they said to come back if I had a 3rd and they would look into it. I was trying to stick to that, didn’t want to waste NHS time & money, knew I could get pregnant as have two kids already. Big having clicked it’s been 3 years I’m not going to wait any longer. Want all the tests I can to find out what’s going on.
