Little bit of background -
Cycle #3 TTC after MC in December
This month doing SMEP, tracking BBT and OV (CB advanced and Femometer strips), also drowning myself in grapefruit juice 😂 and will take Calc Fluor in TWW.

@MichT4 I haven’t really had a period just some light spotting around 27 may so hence we weren’t actively trying as I’m waiting on my period due to it being so light I was told to expect a very heavy and painful first period before I go back to my normal light periods

@NightDreaming definitely contact your GP. It’s not a waste at all!

@saim86 my first period wasn’t heavy either. Maybe one or two heavy-ish days but the others were very light. Also had a false start where I for bright red for a wipe (sorry, tmi) and then disappeared for another day. I think they can be heavy and painful, maybe depending on how far along and if any tissue remains etc. but not sure it has to be like that. Might been a month of not ovulating, again not sure. I’m sure the ladies here will have more knowledge xx

@VP91x hahaha that's funny because I also had my legs up against the wall last week🤣🤣🤣 I went to see my Obgyn today and he said that I should dtd every second day from day 10-18, at night (so i can lay down and keep everything in) and also told me to put a pillow under my hips after! So see, we are not so crazy and seems like we are all on the right track here 😂🤣

@Rainbowhope11 haha, this better all work then! I'm on Day 8 now of flashy on my CB.. 🤔

If I'm the same as last month then I will get my peak OPK on Thursday! Xx

@NightDreaming that seems like the right thing to do for you, just to see if there is anything you should be aware. Hopefully everything is okay and they can offer you some more support. Hope you are ok xx

@VP91x me too!! My Obgyn was telling me to just relax, and throw the OPKs out and forget about them. I just nodded, but have no intention of giving up my OPKs 😂 I can't imagine doing this all blindly!

Oh dear! These bloody CB flashys can drive us insane can't they?! Hope that peak comes very soon for you! Fingers crossed it's Thursday or sooner 😊 how is your tummy? Are you feeling better now?

I've had a dull migraine the whole day with some nausea. Trying to get my last bit of work done for the night before I hit the bed, but my head is killing me!

Ah yeah I hope I don't have to wait until Thursday, but let's face it there is nothing I can do about it 🙈. I feel better now thanks, it went the next day thankfully!

Oh no way, do you have any migraine tablets? I hope the sleep helps it get better. Migraines are the worst xx

@VP91x oh that's good that you're feeling better😊 yeah hopefully soon! I'm sure you're getting tired of dtd🙈 I kind of got over it towards the end last week 😂

I usually take an ibuprofen, but I read somewhere that it can interfere with implantation, so I'm hesitant to take any. I could be suffering for nothing here, but I don't want to take a chance. No pain no gain 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣

@Rainbowhope11 maybe take some paracetamol at least? Don't suffer too much!

@1990EM thank you - no I’m not on any medication for RA, it is super mild and I had honestly forgotten I had it as I’ve had practically no symptoms for about a year!

Based on last Mc period not due for another 6days but started to bleed today. If there was ever a subject that should have been part of our curriculum this is deffo one.

How are you all today? @VP91x how are your OPKs doing?

I'm in a world of further confusion. I thought I'd be updating you on a big spike this morning, as I was seriously overheating last night, but nope, dipped again. OH asked last night how my OPKs were and I said I'd stopped. He looked confused so I took one just now, still showing high. AND, guess what just showed - EWCM! Maybe I haven't ovulated yet....maybe. Told OH we needed to get to it today. I mean, I'm not getting my hopes up, but maybe something did cause delayed ovu, and like you said @VP91x, maybe my body has tried a couple of times.

Who bloody knows anymore

@MichT4 I think you get a dip pre ovulation or on ovulation day. I've forgotten which it is 🤔🤔

I just don’t know what that means for my cycle or LP if i haven’t ovulated. If I have the normal LP we are talking a 37-38 day cycle 🙄

What did your ava data say today?

It's literally such a smug twat, but if it doesn't go static by thursday it's going out the window. It has a deadline! My cervix felt really open and soft today (sorry 😂) and more ewcm so.. I will trust the process xx

@VP91x I didn’t do any yesterday typically because I assumed the month was a bit of a write off. I did the one this morning which was a standard ‘high’ reading. Just don’t know what to make of this EWCM now as well. I’ll do the occasional OPK but I’m aware of the dehydration so I need to balance the two I think. Unless I’m taking the hold too seriously. What’s the chances it would have peaked yesterday 🙄
Ava still says I ovulated on Saturday, I guess because I had the little temp peak. See what happens over the next few nights I guess.
I’m putting this month down to a research phase 😂😂

It definitely sounds like your body is definitely doing what it’s meant to, the peak is bound to just creep up on you now. I have no idea what to feel for with my cervix, especially open or closed. What do you even feel for?

@VP91x and specifically Ava showed RHR up, temp slightly down, breathing rate the same 🤷🏻‍♀️

I spent the morning googling Ava charts 🤓🤯

@MichT4 well EWCM is meant to signify you're fertile so maybe just go with it, as annoying as all the mixed messages are!

Well, I find it easiest to feel if I sit on the loo. It feels like a round shape with a 'dip' in the middle? Sometimes it feels like a slightly bigger 'dip' / hole which I assume means its more open. At least I hope its my cervix 😂 give it a go extra research xx

@VP91x I'm going to be a cervix geek now too.

Yes the messages are annoying, but I guess it's my first month actually tracking any of it, so I expect it will be. Hopefully in future it'll all become my crazy trend. When I was looking at the Ava charts online, a lot were a bit erratic the first month - like you said, it's to look back on when there's more data.

@MichT4 haha, although my cervix tells me naff all about what is going on post ovulation! I just have a little rummage to see my CM more than anything haha xx

@VP91x yeah I tried to track in one month and had absolutely no idea what it was telling me, so I stopped.
What is this journey like 😂😂
