Anyone starting their TWW now?

Hi Ladies,

Just wondering if anyone is starting their TWW now? I got my peak on OPK yesterday around 2pm, another peak this morning but not as dark as yesterday! Think I have ovulated today (had some weird pains and cramps!) so now it’s a waiting game!

AF should be due on 19th/20th June but this is my first proper cycle since a MC back in April so not 100% sure if I’m going back to 28 days.

Anyway some TWW buddies would be lovely to keep ourselves sane

Mind if i join? How are you getting on? I'm in 2ww too. Due AF 22/06... I don't kmow what to think my boobs are killing and I'm nauseous smells are making me queasy. Yesyerday and day before I had cramps. I had blood taken yester day but hcg was negative.. But reading up things say implantation is about day 25 I'm day 22/23. Have u any of these symptoms? How r u feeling? Do u think I've tested too soon as hcg won't show until implantation is complete? Xxx

@yoomoo I'm 11DPO and AF was due today. I've taken ICs for a couple of days, nothing yesterday morning but I tested yesterday evening and there was the faintest hint of a line! Tested with an IC this morning too and it was similar. I wanted answers so I used the same sample with an FRER and got a proper line! It's better in real life than on the photo. I've got some CB digitals too so I'll use those over the next few days and look forward to the words confirming it!

I didn't have any implantation bleeding either so I've no experience of that. Not had any symptoms apart from being a bit hungrier than normal!

@bluebubbles12 sorry to tag you. I've made a post on here and got no reply and I've added 2 comments to this thread but yheu have come up pink. Others are green and white so I don't kmow if I'm doing it right hence the tag to see if anyone can see it. Please coukd u reply if you see this. I wanted to ask for help please ladies. @Jaym78 hey, I can see! I'm not sure what the colours mean though I'm afraid. I'm using the app - are you on the website?

I'm no expert as I've only been tracking ovulation for a couple of months using OPKs, but I ovulate on CD19 in a 29 day cycle, so quite late really. So today makes me CD30 (or what should have been CD1) and I've only just seen my positive. I know blood tests are more sensitive though, but I don't know how much more sensitive.

Do you track ovulation using OPKs or any other method? Do you know what day you ovulate on? Then they say implantation occurs 6-12 days after ovulation, with most people implanting either day 8 or 9.

What's opks please? I'm cycle day 23 today and lots of Google info is misleading. I think I'll retest weekend then Monday if no AF. So many symptoms tho. I have no patience x

@bluebubbles12 ps I have only tracked using my cycle and put my dates into an app I've been watching CM too. Just haven't been taking temp x

@Jaym87 OPKs are ovulation test strips. You can buy bulk on amazon for a few quid. You start testing every day at the same time from about 6 days after your period ends until you get a positive result. Very helpful alongside temping!

@Jaym78 I'd really recommend them if you don't get lucky this cycle. I was using Flo and that works on the basis that for 28-29 day cycles you ovulate on CD14, but in my case I don't ovulate until CD19 so I was missing my most fertile window by a good few days. I honestly don't think I'd have got pregnant any time soon without them!

OMG ladies - can you see it?! It’s sooo faint but came up after 3 minutes so deffo not an evap. Only an internet cheapie as didn’t want to waste my FRERs on afternoon wee grin hoping it’s not a fake line but I’ve tested a few times with these now and they’ve always been stark white so fingers crossed! I’m either 10 or 11DPO.

My DP can see it too but it’s not very good photographed!

So excited but terrified at the same time!

@yoomoo yes I see it!! You're in exactly the same position as I was this time yesterday! If you're seeing something on a cheapy then you should definitely use your FRER tomorrow! I did a cheapy first this morning and could see something so that's what made me take the plunge. Please update us tomorrow!

@Jaym78 yeah I ovulate CD19, so I have a short-ish luteal phase of 11 days. I understand where you're coming from, the days drag don't they? Try not to get too stressed out early on in the wait though (I know, easier said than done) because even if you have been successful, it will still take a few days to see a positive on the most sensitive of tests. I’m so relieved, you begin to think you’ve imagined it don’t you?! After staring at stark white tests I found myself seeing things so instantly ran down to DP- so much for presenting him with a test on Father’s Day
I will 100% be doing a FRER in the morning, I’ve got 3 of them so will do one tomorrow then leave it a couple of days between the other 2. If all good over weekend still I’ll invest in those expensive digitals!

Feel a bit shocked but nervous after the MC in March.

So trying to figure out my DPO, here’s my OPKs. Strongest peak was deffo on the Saturday but it was still present on Sunday albeit a bit fainter- do you think it’s safe to say I ovulated Sunday? Doesn’t matter in the scheme of things but interested to get opinions!

@Stabal the brown spotting sounds positive, what DPO are you now and which DPO did it happen? Don’t be disheartened by the cheapie strips being negative I really don’t think they are anywhere near as sensitive as they say they are. I’ve never seen a strong line on one!

Welcome to the thread @Jaym78 do you know when you ovulated? Think you said you’ve been monitoring CM- do you know the date you had the most? That might give an idea. If your AF is due on 22nd I would say it’s a bit too early to test at the moment! I’m due on Friday and have only just got a small tiny line. How come you are being tested via bloods? Sorry being nosey I’d also recommend OPKs they are brilliant, I ordered the Fermometer ones from amazon think it was £8.99 for 50. Just really helps you to pinpoint baby making days and then also helps you work out your DPO. The Fermometer app you can also upload pics of the tests and it analyses if you are low, high or peak. Peak means you will ovulate in next 24-48 hours! Hope that all helps.

@yoomoo, not nosey at all no harm asking. And because I work at the hosp in maternity so perks of the job 🤦🏼‍♀️ so I'm not actually being tested it was a colleague that did my bloods for me.

However I thibk they've been done too early. I think your right I need a few more days. I'm day 10 DPO tomoz. I think I ovulate 8th.. Judging by cm. But be not used an app or opks tbh. I'll see what happens. Just so early to have all these symptoms for a period u kmow nausea painful boobs cramps past couple of days and heightened smell. Also montgomery glands are showing in my very painful boobs. X

@yoomoo 11 DPO if I go by the temps but 10 if I go by the strips. And I had the brown spotting 2 days ago. I have some first response tests coming on Friday but I think I'll wait another week and see if AF appears cause if the low down pain is period related then she's obviously closer than she normally is for me at this point haha. So happy for you!
