Honestly we watched 2 shows together as a couple and in both shows someone has just found out they are pregnant 🤣 makes me not wanna watch it now if I am constantly reminded haha thankfully one of them had a year or so of infertility so I am atleast happy they showed a journey rather than a one night stand conception haha

Having a bad day today. I had some light bleeding this morning and my period isn't due til Sunday.

I've also been feeling headachey and nauseous all day.

It's just occurred to me though that it may be implantation bleeding so hope is not lost this cycle yet...

What's the news with you ladies?

@beachbum85 that has all gone today thankfully, actually might put it down to work stress and lack of sleep. All good now so should have a good night sleep tonight. Going to try my hardest not to focus on this so much and my weekend has filled up already :)xx

@Lozzlepop hearing some awful experiences of furlough, redundancies, repositioning of jobs. Rubbish that you're having to go through this with everything else you've gone through over the last year

@Annny27 yeah I do wonder if before our bodies were this random but we were just preoccupied with life we never really took much notice?!

Cd8 and had spotting since AF which is a bit odd as it usually stops cd6 but hey ho after 22 cycles I've given up guessing my body now and just go with it! 😆

Been phoning consultant daily for results but no one picks up the damn phone! Need to try and find her email address as I work for the NHS so will do some digging 😝

@Annny27 I get this! I'm on my third book this week and there's babies involved in all of them! Xxx

@mrsbecs I have PCOS. My periods vary between 28-37 days. I ovulated on June 5th (cycle day 21) ... therefore my Femometer App thinks my period is due on Saturday. According to the FLO app my period is late by 3 days lol 😂. But I will only test if my AF has not arrived by next Wednesday which would put me on cycle day 40.

Haha I know it's strange isn't it! I'm currently on CD7. AF just finished a couple of days ago, and I'm about to enter my fertile window according to Flo! I've got some cheapie OPKs, I did one today but there was barely a line... Hoping to use them consistently this month. I need reassurance than I'm actually ovulating lol!

Hi everyone, just had coil removed literally a week ago so only just started the journey of TTC for first. Been taking folic acid for around 5 weeks now. However, not feeling too confident as I'm 36 and have an over 40 BMI. Partner is a smoker and likes a beer at the weekend, so on paper, it doesn't read too successful lol

I'm so confused, I ovulate every cycle picked up by OPK and confirmed with temp. This month I think OPK's have missed my surge. I had EWCM and ovulation pain which have now stopped and I'm on the second day of temp rise CD17. I think OPK's have missed it.? It's very annoying as I don't like not knowing and also supposed to be taking progesterone so I need to know when to start. Ugh. I use CB digital. Has anyone had this before? X

@orangeloo how annoying! So do you think you O cd15? I know for me some months my surge lasts 2 days and some months Ive only just caught it by luck so I also go by ewcm and I usually dry up immediately the day after I've O

Bizarrely for my I've O early again as got my peak today at cd9 and still have some left over spotting from AF. Annoying as we haven't DTD yet so got to get on it today and next 2 days to ensure we haven't missed the boat this month. Ever since my HSG my cycles and symptoms are all over the place 😩

@Kiza oh wow cycle day 9 that is so early. U should be okay if you dtd today. How long ago was your hsg? As I need to have my tubes tested.

I think it must have been cd15 I'm gonna have to go by temp I think so if it's raised again Tommorow I'll just start the progesterone I think. Very annoying. I feel for ppl who don't ovulate regularly and who's bodies plays tricks as it adds a whole other level of stress to ttc. X

@orangeloo yeah can't imagine how hard it must be to never know when you will O or when AF arrives. HSG was in Feb, 2 cycles after I O super late (cd24 &cd 26), last month O cd 11 and this month CD 9. I've always O very regularly cd14/15 so can only assume it was the trauma of HSG.
Hoping Accupuncture regulates me.
I'd agree to start taking the progesterone today/tomorrow if your temps are rising

Told DP when he gets home from work we have to get on it as he's had to go into the office today so no lunch break quickie!

@kiza That makes me nervous for hsg I was supposed to have HYFOSY which uses foam and it supposed to be a bit gentler. I asked for HYCOSY with saline instead as thought the flushing effect may do good. Now I'm thinking again haha. Everything is so confusing isn't it.

Yes I've told DP we must dtd today just incase. Haha the joys of ttc. Soon as he's through the door you'll be onto him haha.

I wouldn't take my experience if HSG as gospel as I've just got a bloody annoying cervix that no one can ever find no matter what position they put me in and always have to jab around to get to it.
I think it was the trauma of that and my tears and panic attacks that have maybe messed me up. God knows what I'll be like if I have to have an embryo transfer for IVF as they don't sedate you 😞

@kiza damnnnn I thought ivf was general anesthetic!

Cd3 today and ready for period to be over for fw to start

Onto month 13 (fml) haha, 7th cycle after miscarriage

@Kiza oh I see I'm sorry it was so traumatic for you. @Kiza @Annny27 I think you can pay a bit extra for sedation as it's an option on every price list I've seen. Not sure if nhs offer it though. I'm sure if you asked and said your not sure you can bear it they could arrange.

@Annny27 the egg collection is general but the embryo transfer is a really similar procedure to HSG where you're awake with a full bladder and they put a catheter through your cervix and implant the blastocyst through the catheter. I've just joined an IVF thread and the ladies there are saying to ask for a mock transfer so they can measure your cervix and uterus so they implant the blastocyst as good as they can.
Yeah defo going to ask if I can pay for sedation as I'll be under NHS, think I've developed vaginismus in relation to internal exams from all my bad experiences. If they don't sedate me I'll go to the GP and get dosed up on Valium!! 😂

So think we're out this month, after O so early we only managed to DTD yesterday as today DP couldn't finish. First time in the 6 years I've known him, also not really had any ewcm this cycle whereas usually I get loads.
Will keep using OPK just in case this was a false I and I O again but gonna have a cheeky wine tonight and just chill this month with no symptom spotting as doubt we caught it this month.

Hi @kiza - no such luck it was AF. Day 2 (today) is always super heavy as well and I get very emotional too. Couldn't stop crying at the Lion King the other night. Why do our cycles try to confuse us like this??

@Annny27 I think this is my 4th cycle since my miscarriage. We did really good this past month, DTD every other day pretty much from day 11-21 so I don't know what gives.

Also wondering if I may have a hormone imbalance of some sort as my periods are (and have always been) so awfully heavy. At least today I can just chill and lie in the sun.

anyone got experience/advice with ex friends? currently on a Zoom hen with ex friends and feeling very stressed :( xx

Hey ladies hope you are all keeping well! I am 12 weeks today and I can't believe we've got here, it feels so surreal, big scan on Thursday and I'm so nervous! Especially as I have to go alone 😬
