@Sleeeeeepy I’ve always had bad periods even on the pill. It also decreased my sex drive a lot- I feel much better off it in general. Although my pms is pretty bad- but on the pill I was always grumpy so didn’t notice pms as much 🤪 us gals don’t get it easy eh 🥺

Hi All, wondering if I can join the group. I'm 36 this year and TTC for the first time. Starting this month 💗 I'm nervous due to my age but hopeful. Been doing clear blue ovulation tests and tracking temp so hopefully that helps. Does anyone have any tips? Thanks loads ladies xx

@Loladoodle For the most part I didn't have any periods at all on the mini pill. On the injections they only came back over a year after I stopped having them. I do find there's an impact on sex drive but I prefer not having the hormone swings. Obviously not an option when ttc though!

Hi @MrsMacG10 and @Ready2020! i just joined here a week or so back -albeit dont tend to post much but am kept very entertained and educated reading everyone elses :) similar to you guys, although just turned 37 & hubby is 41. We starting trying last month but realistically had left it a bit late so really this is the 1st month! just started using ovulation test today so will see what happens! No tips sorry as i'm on a steep learning curve with everything haha. now made the decision to try hope we haven't left it too late but hey u just never know. started taking folic acid start of the month and generally fit and healthy so here's hoping. look forward to hearing your progress too!

@Sleeeeeepy, no, haven’t done any testing this month as was wanting one ‘natural’ cycle off pill before starting. Was only going to POAS had I made it to cycle day 35 or something as no idea if/when I ovulated.

Glad I didn’t cave now! Would have wasted a pricey CBD! So, CD1, cycle 2 TTC, Onwards my Golden Ovaries!

@FridaKFangirl I'm loving the golden ovaries comment!🤣 hope your AF doesn't make you feel like shit like mine is🥴 never normally feel this crap when I've got AF. Woke up this morning with another bloody headache that I can't shift. Day 3 of bleeding so only another 2days to go🤞🏻
Good luck with tracking everything this month, I find it does help as makes you feel more in control of it all x

@leftitlate37 thanks for your reply. Its daughting being a wee bit older but plenty ladies have kiddies older now. I'm excited and nervous all that the same time. I wish I was only 36 😂😂😂 I'm 41 in 2 weeks.
Cd5 of cycle 11 for our first. Must admit the being an older mum thought has crossed my mind, thinking about when they're at school (assuming we manage to have a baby) we'll be in our 60s and in our 60s when / if they go to uni 😩😩

But we can't think about that now

Hello! Yes it's my first go at trying for a baby. I've been with my partner for 6 years now and it was uncertain whether we'd go for it. I think with his nephews arriving its softened him up a bit and now we both feel we are ready to try it.

No idea what to expect. I've 2 sisters and one has 3 kids and the other suffered a lot of miscarriages so stopped trying. My OHs brother and his wife ended up doing IVF but had the 2nd naturally. Plus my OH has been on antidepressants most of his adult life. Family history is a bit mixed so I've no clue what to expect.

I have a question about SMEP if anyone's tried it?

I get that we DTD 3 days in a row once I get a 'positive OPK' but if I'm using CBD - does that mean 3 days in a row at flashing smiley or static smiley? I'm assuming static...

Any insights?

Feeling so crappy physically since yesterday. My lower back hasn't stopped hurting🥺 Just took two paracetamol
It first started on Friday but eased off and it came back yesterday morning and won't bloody piss off.
