ELM7 · 11/06/2020 10:54

Congrats @MrsTtobe. It’s amazing seeing the words rather than looking for lines and worrying it could be an evap. Hope you have a very calm pregnancy.

@lucieloos I’m a trainee accountant and love a list of data 😂 My stats 37 TTC no1 cycle 8 after a MC

lastditchattempt20 · 11/06/2020 12:12

@lastditchattempt20 you've made me cry again. 🙈 I'd only just stopped. 🤣 thank you for your lovely words.

@Loladoodle thank you! Are you proud! I was brave and did the damn test. I was on a mission and just went for it. Who am I!?! 🤣🤣

@Wavesandsmilesagain no way? Are you a Brit originally? Always wanted to try Luxembourg!
Im a Brit, living in Birmingham? Any fellow Brummies?

@Chlo2701 thank you so so much lovely. I will, I'm going to wait till he's home and tell him/show him 😬 xx

Re list: I'm 39, (A)TTC no.3 cycle for around 18 months

PirateWeasel · 11/06/2020 12:51

Wavesandsmilesagain · 11/06/2020 13:00

@MrsTtobe I did some online studying with uni of Birmingham but that’s my only connection. I’m British, moved from the Channel Islands. DP is French, we met here in Luxembourg which is such a lovely country especially for families 😁

lastditchattempt20 · 11/06/2020 13:10

Re: list. 40, TTC#2, Cycle 2, CD8.
Started CB OPK again today!

Lynnysong · 11/06/2020 13:11

@farfromperfect82 thank you :) and sorry I've been a while getting back on the forum, was studying on a course all day yesterday.

@M4v3r1ck I seem to be taking everything separately lol, I like to space them out through the day

Lynnysong · 11/06/2020 13:22

@MrsTtobe Congratulations so happy for you :) xx

Lynnysong · 11/06/2020 13:30

I did some reading, a younger guy definitely helps older ladies have babies. My donor is 30. And has fathered 7 kids so far. So that's cheered me up a lot. Younger women's eggs can fix broken dna in older guys sperm but when you get older that doesn't happen.

I'm 45 and although I've been trying casually for a bit this is my first proper attempt. So cycle 1 and I'm on 8dpo just now. fx xx

Loladoodle · 11/06/2020 13:45

@lynnysong I read that today!!! Interesting 🤔 hopefully being a puma will help me out a little! And your donor certainly sounds successful! How are you feeling at 8dpo? Will you do any early tests or hold off?

@MrsTtobe I am sooooo proud 🤗 what a woman! Glad being brave paid off for you!

@lastditchattempt20 I’m Irish ☘️ was actually supposed to go to Luxembourg this summer for my partners work trip but obvs cancelled now ☹️

Whoops last comment was meant for @Wavesandsmilesagain

Lynnysong · 11/06/2020 13:53

@Loladoodle I feel ok, I'm trying really hard not to symptom spot, implantation is usually on 9dpo I read, so nothing might have happened yet. I've never eaten this uber healthy before so I'm chuffed with myself for that.

And I am not early testing this time, on the day af is due and that's that. lol. I've got an essay due next wednesday so that should keep me distracted

Also got my spare keys back from that guy I was seeing, that was such a hassle. But I feel better and calmer having them back. :)

LT103 · 11/06/2020 14:02

2 quick questions

Is it worth checking for ovulation. Benefit of that over just having regular sex through fertile window? If so, what ones are best. I had a look but it’s a minefield!!

2 ive just been taking generic folic acid, now I’m properly trying, is it best to get a better pre pregnancy multivitamin?

Posy1 · 11/06/2020 14:09

@MrsTtobe so so so happy for you. Massive congrats. Xxx

Loladoodle · 11/06/2020 14:17

@Lynnysong sounds like a very sensible approach to me. And glad you got your keys back, he didn’t sound like a good person.

Loladoodle · 11/06/2020 14:20

@LT103 I didn’t do ov tests first cycle and found it a bit frustrating not knowing when I ovulated. Even though we more than cover the fertile window the control freak in me wanted to know what day I ov. I just ordered cheap ones I find them grand used them before. Re vits I think pre natal is recommended but it is personal choice up to now I’m on folic but I have ordered seven seas pre natal vits.

LT103 · 11/06/2020 14:39

@loladoodle thanks. I’ll have a look on amazon. I guess only for the fact that I will know more about my cycle to help. I thought I would do it the relaxed way but I’ve quickly realised that is not me 😂. Also a control freak here!!

Sunbird24 · 11/06/2020 14:39

@LT103 I take the 7seas prenatal as well, alongside a women’s multivitamin and a ubiquinol gummy. Figure it can’t hurt!

Lynnysong · 11/06/2020 15:40

@Loladoodle I'm trying to be sensible, it's difficult tbh lol. I start worrying about a small aspect of my cycle and have to read a bunch to reassure myself about it.

Today's small worry was my ovulation date but apparently cycle day 12 is fine lol. Needs enough time for the egg to mature. But I looking into it and people were getting pregnant with shorter phases than that. Day 10 and 11. It's fine, nothing to panic about.

Matilda19 · 11/06/2020 16:15

Ive only just started to try easy at home ovulation sticks it's only early days for us but wanted to know if was ovulating as had implant in for 7 years.
X

Matilda19 · 11/06/2020 16:41

These sticks are stressful taking pics uploading to app and it varies all the time dont understand x
