@J0DI3 I see you mentioned the male AF, I hearrrr you! And it’s ALWAYS the day you don’t want them to be! I ovulated yesterday and we didn’t do it, have woken up with ov pains still so will grab him and see if he’s in a better mood! Aw over it this month tho tbh!

@Catherinettc ahh that makes sense about telling OH, think mine would be a bit upset if I didn't tell him straight away (even if it was a negative test tbh) but I love hearing about the really cute ways people tell their OHs, you have any ideas yet? Sorry you've been sick but apparently that can be a reaction to hcg so should get a stronger line today x

Morning everyone!

I've been lurking on this thread a while but too intimidated by how fast it moves to post but its also been a good laugh and it's lovely to see such a kind and supportive group of ladies going through the same thing - like most of you I haven't felt able to talk to anyone except the other half about TTC so it's been a bit of a weird and lonely journey so far!

I'm 28 and TTC #1, been 'not not trying' since September and getting increasingly obsessed since then, this is probably cycle 4 or 5 of actively trying. About 4dpo now.

Massive congrats to all the BFPs so far, this seems to be a lucky thread. Fingers crossed for all those testing this weekend!

@lucyrp yeah Tuesday definitely makes sense then, I'm sure you'll be able to get a definite answer by then. So excited for you to test again especially after all your symptoms xx

@lucyrp and @Vil10 I'm only a day behind you and am feeling so reassured reading all your posts. I think you're both gonna get stonking bfps in a few days.

After my moaning myrtle post Wed am about brown spotting, a temp dip and being hormonal I am now feeling slightly, tentatively hopeful. But now I've typed that I feel superstitious that I've jinxed it 😂😂
My temp was low yesterday for the 2nd day but has come back up today. Spotting continued yesterday but was brown still and only when I wiped. Still getting it a bit this morning but it's not getting heavier so will keep my 🤞🏻 it's not AF sending her luggage ahead and could be a sigh of implantation.
I have also got a very slight metallic taste in my mouth (but then maybe it's just my morning death breath and I am symptom spotting for England) 🤷‍♀️
Have 2 potential AF dates on my fertility friend app so going to class myself as late using the earlier date but not test until Friday.

Sending hugs to all those with AF here or BFNs and bady dust to each and every one of you in the coming days and weeks be it this cycle or next.

unfortunately BFN here 😩 13dpo is my guess. Definitely tracking next cycle! Acctually feeling ok, was 2nd cycle off the pill. Next cycle is my last chance till June 2021- no pressure 😳

@Clairey844 - my wife has the metallic taste and we’ve read it’s a pregnancy sign!

We test on Monday although we may try and hold on longer if we can. We have made it to the weekend without testing at all and I got tests arriving sometime tomorrow so I’m pretty proud of myself given our usual track record 😬🤣

Thanks for the welcomes @SmileyT I've been tracking BBT since I came off the pill last May and starting using ov tests since Feb - was using the CB basic one and kept missing my surge, had a bit of an irrational panic that I just never ovulated, and bought the advanced one that does the flashing and static and managed to catch it this month lol.

Ooh my friend who's now 10 weeks had the metallic taste too! Fingers crossed

@lucyrp I'm 11dpo but determined to be properly late before I test. I'm being stupidly superstitious but with my LG we tested on a Friday when I was nearly a week late (before I was a crazy obsessive 😂) and all went well. With my recent MMC I wanted to test on a Friday but did it early and have convinced myself that a successful pregnancy means testing on a Friday. Fuck I sound mental 😂😂

14DPO here and BFN on a FRER this morning. Not actually feeling too sad, had lots of AF signs and woken up with sore boobs this morning which is always a sign she's near, going to enjoy the weekend with some nice food and probably plenty of gin, feel a little sorry for myself, and then plan for the next cycle ☺️

Hoping to see some more BFPs on here over the next few days though 🥰🥰

@Clairey844 i keep convincing myself that's why i'm not getting positive pregnancy tests because i've rested at 8 weeks both times i've been pregnant previously ! 😂 it was a surprise pregnancy so of course i wouldn't have been testing before because i had no reason to so thag makes no sense 😂 @TTCmummy2021 ooo i also have had the metallic taste in my mouth but it was only for one day when i was 2dpo so i shouldn't think too much into it but of course i am 😂

@Sydgal22 we managed to DTD after he had a nap! Hope he was in a better mood today so you have a better day.

I’m taking today as 1dpo so will be testing later than 15th June which I originally planned. AF is due on 19th so will try and hold out to test on 20th 🤞🏼

She is about 10/11DPO and has had the metallic taste from around 2/3DPO... sore, veiny, big boobs, always tired, super hormonal (don’t tell!!), over tired, zero appetite. She’s only ever been like this when she’s been pregnant (no live births) before so we are super hopeful which is why we’ve managed to hold off testing I reckon because we don’t want the disappointment if we rest too early!!
