@DAC21 have you had you BFP this morning? Xx

Does anyone order the FR four pack of amazon and get the 10 IC preg test strips with it? I’ve never used them but they come with the FR I’ve just ordered xx

@Cocoblue22 Yes, BFP on a Boots cheap one. I saw someone saying here they were rubbish so we held out with the testing in fear of a negative in case we test too early. But it is a very clear pink double line. I hate testing, my wife goes extremely anxious in those 5 minutes to the extent of actually shaking. Her symptoms were very promising (tiredness, nausea, larger breasts) but to be honest she also felt these at times of bfn, so we were cautiously hopeful.
We have been trying since October (not every month though) and started feeling like this was not going to happen. Especially when clinics closed due to coronavirus. When ours reopened we just turned out to be at the right point of cycle, so must have been one of their first patients to be treated.
Honestly, without this forum I would have gone mental this months. Lockdown with a toddler and 2 full time jobs is really exhausting but we are now super excited! Can't say thank you enough to you lovely bunch here! 🌻

@SarahTTC2020 I think personally I would wait to test unless you really want to and it does get the POAS addiction out of your system. I tested on 11dpo and got nothing

So bit of a funny one, I've taken my BBT this morning as usual and got a relatively low temperature, OH was still asleep so I thought hey I'm going to try taking it rectally just to see if there's a difference. Yes I stuck a thermometer up my bum first thing this morning 😂Holy cow!🤣🤣 my oral reading was 36.64 and rectal reading was 36.85?!?

9dpo here and zero symptoms until this morning I am having quite painful cramps . Either AF on her way as I have short cycles or something exciting, I really don’t want to get my hopes up though. Femometer is playing with my head too as it says it’s spotted an implantation dip at day 7, but I realise it’s only a piece of software and you have fluctuations anyway. My ‘dip’ isn’t that dippy. Someone talk me out of it please!! First month of BBT, have compared similar curves and they look like normal ovulation and there’s still time to drop.

@watermelonwizard I had cramps on day 10 past ovulation and fermometer told me this was probbsly implantation cramping ?!🙈 this is my current chart with my oral temperature and rectal temperature taken this morning if you've seen my post above. If I don't get BFP this month I'm defo doing rectal temps instead as there's a hole .20 degrees difference this morning!

@Cocoblue22 that makes sense but just remember that CB will only pick up oestrogen and LH so if you had ovulated and just have mainly progesterone in your system now that would make CB go back to low aswell. Really hoping that it doesn't take months for your cycle to regulate but I know what you mean about having the feeling your period is on its way. Although in Feb when I found out I was pregnant, I'd worn a pad for about a week as I was certain period was on its way so there is always hope xx

@lucyrp haha love that you stuck it up your bum 😂 rectal readings should be higher I think, might give this a go tomorrow out of curiosity, I've tried the vag but not in the back door. You should see a similar curve with both but rectal should have a higher base temp xx

@watermelonwizard your curve looks good and if it keeps rising/ stays there past 12dpo I think this is a great sign. My chart has an 'implantation' dip at 8dpo every month I've temped (you get an oestrogen surge regardless of whether you're pregnant) but if you haven't had one before I'd definitely say this is a great sign xx

@lucyrp such a mind fuck. Love that you’ve had that up your bum on a Sunday morning!! I imagine it’s more accurate though!

@SmileyT ohhh really ?! I will have to read up on it a bit more, I presume you can't mix and match the readings you have to stay within one hole for the whole month ?😂 I thought it was so interesting that it was .20 degrees higher! And actually it says I need to perfect my reading a bit more I suppose I can't purse my lips enough around the thermometer so air does get in but I guess witj your bum you don't have to worry about that😂😂 I'm defo going to try it next month I think

@watermelonwizard that's good if the cramps have gone ! My app says that implantation cramps should only last a few minutes then disappear or they can last for a few months

I'm 16DPO today and after trying for 10 months this feels very surreal! Hoping for a sticky bean in there and petrified that I might get my period. I used the cheap Amazon ovulation tests since I have irregular periods (about 35 to 50 day cycles) which really helped us. Did the deed 5 times in the high fertility peak and every day after ovulation for 3 days, just to be sure. I feel completely normal apart from some very light "period pain". Having this group has really helped mental wellbeing, such a lovely group and lots of laughter which I think is the right attitude! All the best of luck for more BFP on this June bus!

@watermelonwizard In the 2nd week of the TWW i always start focussing on the next cycle. I don't see myself as a pessimist but think when you read about how strong other people's symptoms are it makes me feel like I'm definitely out 😩 I'm going to do some meditation this morning and put my positive pants on though. Oh yeah I did know it was your first cycle temping (sorry it's so hard for me to remember the deets for everyone especially at 7am on a Sunday morning 😴) really hoping your temp stays high and it's a BFP for you next week x

@lucyrp yeah think they say stick to one method throughout cycle for consistency when I did my vag temp before it seemed so high but then if I put my finger in there it is pretty warm 😂, you feeling sicky this morning?

@Hogrider just be really gentle with your body and try and enjoy the journey, I know it must be hard after MCs but I have everything crossed this bean is super sticky ❤️

10 BFPs and I reckon another 10 to go would put us at 25% so I'm excited to see a flurry next week x

@SmileyT that is very true either vag or bum are much warmer than in your mouth 😂 I don't tend to feel sicky until I get up and I'm still in bed at the moment although I can feel something. All of my symptoms are very subtle tho, like I know I'm not going to be sick there's only been a couple of times I've though gosh I'm going to throw up but it's like a constant feeling. Same with the headache and tiredness but its a different troupe of headache and tiredness if thag makes sense 😂 I'm going to be so angry when af shows up tomorrow or Tuesday 😡😂x

@lucyrp if you have no signs of AF I don't think it'll come tomorrow 🤞 After 10 months of sex pretty much daily you bloody deserve a BFP more than anyone 😘

@watermelonwizard I know what you mean, I wasn't trying when I fell in Feb, then had the MC in March so this is only my 2nd full cycle of TTC and it feels like it's been years, although I'm sure the lockdown has made it worse as there is very little in my diary apart from ovulation dates etc

@lucyrp yeah I POAS this morning because I know I would know by now so I know I’m out disappointing but it was only the first month so never mind! Can’t believe you did your bum temp haha! Of course it will be higher you may have slept with your mouth open a bit haha I personally don’t think temping is that accurate which is why I don’t bother but I know some people swear by it x

Ps ladies I hope you are washing this thermometer thoroughly after doing your rectal readings before shoving it back in your mouth 🤣

My thermometer has had a dettol wash straight after 😂

@SarahTTC2020 you're the first person on here I've seen with an LP longer than 14 days! Not sure I even knew it was possible so I'm fascinated. What do you use currently to determine OD?

@lucyrp you cracked me up with your butt temping 😂. But yeah I'd say consistency is key as the butt is warmer than the mouth!
