@lucyrp Well that is probably definitely bad, that's not good even when your not TTC 😂 I just have a cosy bubble bath though, tbh I couldn't live without one it's what relaxes me.

My FRER has arrived! But being wise and putting off testing till the morning, I have weed far too much today to test. @Catherinettc definitely wait till morning pees, HCG levels could be too low during the day

I think it’s a bit of an old wives tale about hot baths and alcohol, because before abortion was legal they’d sit in a scalding hot bath with Epsom salts and drink gin 😳😳 to induce miscarriage (sorry for the grim imagery).
I think it’s the same as why pregnant ladies aren’t advised to use hot tubs and jacuzzis at the spa etc. It’s to do with raising your core body temperature.
Probably a low risk but I’ve been avoiding both hot baths and alcohol, and there has to be some perks to getting a BFN 😂

@unluckyducky I'm terrible whenever I do it warm I think it's too cold so add hot and then I don't realise how hot it is until I get out and then I'm like oh shit 😂 well I hope I don't get to have one for 8 months that would be amazing but I highly doubt im thag lucky 😫🤣

@KRK05 normally when af visits I have a bath or if I've been running or walking and I love radox muscle soak 👌🏼

@lucyrp I’m the same, unless it takes you 10 minutes to be able to sit down, it ain’t hot enough 😂 I’ve definitely almost passed out a few times too 😂

@LittleRa my friend who is 16 weeks preggers went round to her dads to use his hot tub the other day and I almost had a panic attack 😂I think as long as it's set below a certain temperature its fine

@watermelonwizard 100%😂😂 i always make sure OH is too hand incase I do actually knock myself out 😂

The hot tubs & spas is because of bacteria def that’s what they told me at the IVF clinic Cos I asked about swimming after BFP (we were due to go to Center parcs in April) & they said yep swimming ok, baths ok as long as not scalding so not to raise basal temp (but she said long as you aren’t about to pass out it’s v unlikely to raise your temp enough to do that) but hot tubs & spas out due to infection risks. They even do “pregnancy spa days” where you can’t use some of the spa stuff for same reasons in health clubs

Plus also Cos you are at risk of passing out

@lucyrp oooh such a bonus when there’s left over dinner and you don’t have to cook! Takeaway for us tonight! I’m also holding off hot bath until AF arrives deffo don’t have a pass out bath! If you don’t mind warm ish then go ahead but if you like hot it’s a ❌ x

I’ve not been a big chatter on here but you have sure helped me at 3 in the morning when I can’t sleep. Anyways, I’m 12 dpo I believe as never had a peak on the cb. So I caved this morning and took a frer, and I’m convinced I could see a line, OH is adamant he can’t see anything. But to me it’s a very faint line. Am I crazy??
