Af arrived 😥 not the end of the world. I was very emotionally invested in getting pregnant last month as it would have been perfect timing for various reasons, feeling a bit more relaxed this month so taking it better! Cycles seem to be 25-27 days so like @Skip86 i might still be here testing at the end of June for a second chance.

@Amy00 sorry about the bfn but you are not out yet 😉

@lucyrp ignore that app! It's not qualified to comment. Also as for c section worries, sounds like you did really well first time around so you have a good chance of another straight forward birth. I hate the whole which is harder csection or vaginal birth thing. I don't think there is an easy way of having a baby. Some people have straight forward sections, some have tough sections, same goes for natural birth. It goes how it goes but wonen are amazingly strong. I've heard all sorts of birth stories and am always in awe of what we can do. Ive had 2 emergency sections, first was awful, second was fine. I get the fear of the unknown though, I'd be more nervous of a vaginal birth now than before because I feel like at least i know what to expect with a section.

SmileyT · 03/06/2020 10:22

@lucyrp definitely ignore femometer and probably give it a couple months before you stick the thermometer up your bum. Like I've said before you have to take their standard paragraphs with a pinch of salt. I ordered my thermometer right after my MC and the first month it was hard because I think my hormones were a bit all over the place so please don't worry xx

@Amy00 well hopefully period doesn't arrive and you get a late BFP but as you said it's your first month with loads to do so if AF arrives it won't be long until your next fertile period x

@LV1987 femometer will alabaster change ovulation day to today if you record EWCM but then will update itself based on your other data later x

Also loved everyone's birth stories, I think it ive learnt anything it's that you never know what will happen. My mums smallest was my little sister at just over 4lbs and was the only one of us that didn't need help after she was born, mum said she didn't know what to do when everyone didn't leave the room with baby after the birth 😂

And on marriage my parents were together from 12 and got married with all 3 kids there 🤷🏾‍♀️me and DP have a lot of conversations about the fact that I don't really understand why I'd give my kid his surname but my name is already double-barrelled so who knows what we'll do on that front, make up a new one?

On the diet front I've found the easiest way to lose weight is when I'm miserable, when my ex broke up with me my body was shredded but it wasn't worth it for the depression I went through I'd rather be happy and have an extra few pounds xx

@blodyn91 @Vil10 I have constipated up until now! Yess do it!!

I have a very dodgy stomach this morning very odd 👀

@Katao yes I am going to ignore it. It wasn't very nice to wake up to this morning though! I would never say eithrt was harder or easier I think you always think whatever you haven't had is harder! Our bodies are amazing!

@SmileyT haha thanks for that as I didn't really fancy sticking it up my bum just yet 😂 I'm hoping if I'm still doing this next cycle then it will start working itself out xx

SarahTTC2020 · 03/06/2020 10:32

@vtay I'm just in the obese category too, put a stone and a half on since my wedding last year and trying to get at least back into 'overweight' by the time I'm pregnant enough to have to get weighed by doctor!
@DKDK123 I'm a size 16 now, was a 12 5 years ago when I met dh ... Follow @fatpositivefertility on insta because being fat doesn't mean infertility, lots of evidence on there and might help you feel more relaxed about it xx

Catherinettc · 03/06/2020 10:39

Can't keep up lol

Af due today, nothing yet and bfn :(

Been using 25mui tests I just realised. FRER arriving today. Not sure whether to use cos thinking I'm out :(

Surely would show up by now if I was pregnant?

lucyrp · 03/06/2020 10:45

@Catherinettc some people don't have high enough levels of HCG in their systems for weeks after AF is due

blodyn91 · 03/06/2020 10:45

Talking of love stories- my parents went to the same primary and fancied each other then (as kids do), then went their own way in highschool, mum got engaged to someone else then pulled out of the wedding a week before, flew out to Australia/NZ with my dad just as friends, ended up falling in love got engaged and then theres me and my 3 siblings. I still think my mum was super brave running away from her then fiance.
I want her to write a book 🤣
As for me- we met on Tinder

blodyn91 · 03/06/2020 10:47

also OH is texting me what different stages of CM mean 🤣 He is at work with all his lad mates googling CM

Amy00 · 03/06/2020 10:48

AF is here!! 😭A day early. Actually just feel relieved as given BFNs was expecting it, and now officially CD1 onto a new cycle!! Another month to save money and a month closer to having the new house project built before baby arrives! I have longish cycles so next testing date will be around 5 July 😒 I'll stick around here for a while though as you guys are the absolute best 💜

@Minster2012 have you done much to your house? First time doing any kind of project here, I'm totally rubbish at DIY and so is OH (he built a "coffee table" out of a pallet and it is so wobbly no chance you want to put any liquids on it!!) so this is a new challenge for us! Planning on extending out the back and knocking through to make it open plan. Possibly building upwards on a previous side extension as well but depends on foundations and obviously £££.

@lucyrp I was in bits watching the first ep of life and birth when it came out purple and didn't cry immediately I was like what kind of awful programme is this!!😭😭😭

Oh and I'm a shorty 5ft 2.5, brunette curly(frizzy!) hair, size 8-10, age 31. Also a gamer 🙋🏻‍♀️ 🤓and also played sims since it came out!

TTCgee · 03/06/2020 10:52

@lucyrp my fermometer said the same but the opposite way if that makes sense! So my follicular phase temps were too high! I try not to base too much on it cos I think to get the temperatures really accurate you'd have to be doing it at exactly the same time / no interrupted sleep etc and that's so hard! Hope you're feeling ok! Xx

TTCgee · 03/06/2020 10:55

Hope everyone who's had their AF or BFNs are doing okay too! I keep having twinges and cramps but I get these every month so I'm not holding out much hope!

On the what we look like thingy I'm 27, 5.6, size 8 and long brown hair / Mediterranean skin!

Also what is this weather! It was much easier taking my mind off TWW in the sunshine 😂 now I'm back to obsessively googling what will my CM look like I've I've conceived 🙈

lucyrp · 03/06/2020 10:56

@blodyn91 omg that's lovely! Should totally write a book!

@Amy00 it's so good tho isn't it I prefer it to one born every minute! 🙈

@TTCgee oh that's good to know! Yeah I know you have to be really accurate for it to work and there's no way I'm going to have a good nights sleep every single night if my cycle! 😂 I'm okay thanks. Dodgy tummy this morning tho 🤢xx

Juno231 · 03/06/2020 11:00

@SmileyT My OH is so upset that I don't have his surname that I think he'd have a breakdown if I insisted the kids had both our surnames! So tricky to navigate.

DKDK123 · 03/06/2020 11:03

Thanks @SarahTTC2020 I'll give it a follow. I know overweight people have babies all the time (5 on demand had a good programme Big Birthers or something like that its called for all those that are obsessed with any birthing programmes like me!) but I also know I'm not helping things being obese. There's things going against me that I cant change like my age (36) and the fibroids, but I can change my weight to give me more of a fighting chance .....just need to stop the non stop lockdown boredom and stress munching.

Newbie0818 · 03/06/2020 11:11

Haha @TTCgee I’m always googling cm after conception!

Newbie0818 · 03/06/2020 11:14

I’m just off for my 21 day bloods after months of waiting. Feeling very positive about everything but also terrified that it will show up a serious problem :/

Cocoblue22 · 03/06/2020 11:18

@Newbie0818 good luck I’m sure it will all be fine. And even if it does show any problems at least you will know either way and can then plan x

Runnergirl1 · 03/06/2020 11:19

@Newbie0818 - good luck x

DKDK123 · 03/06/2020 11:24

Has anyone tried any creams like wild yams cream to help boost progesterone levels in the 2nd half of your cycle?
Going to give the seed cycling a try next cycle too. I feel like my hormones have been right out of whack the past 2 months and reading up symptoms it sounds like an estrogen dominance. I dont think the docs would see hormone tests as a priority right now with everything going on so just trying to see what else I can do myself alongside the losing weight until I can see the doc. Do if anyone has any other weird and wonderful solutions they do feel free to throw ideas my way!

Mococo1 · 03/06/2020 11:24

Does anyone know if any hormones are released during fertilisation? My skin texture looks a bit smoother this morning so hoping something has happened down there 🤣 symptom spotting or what!

@dkdk123 I'm one for those programmes too I've been watching life and birth on bbc as well! And babies 24/7! And I think it's all OD on sky

@vtay yeah most people are bigger than recommended and lots of babies are still produced- think it's more of a problem if you're underweight tbh I wouldn't worry too much on the fertility side

@amy00 sorry your AF has come 😭 hope you're feeling okay and that next month is a lucky month for you- good thing is you'll be in your FW before you know it 😁

DKDK123 · 03/06/2020 11:25

@Newbie0818 keeping everything crossed for you x

Newbie0818 · 03/06/2020 11:25

Thanks @Cocoblue22 and @runnergirl11. I know I haven’t ovulated yet so it’ll come up negative in that respect, but hoping that gets the ball rolling. Just scared I might be infertile or something 😫 trying to remind myself that there are other avenues too!

Newbie0818 · 03/06/2020 11:25

@DKDK123 thank you :)

Mococo1 · 03/06/2020 11:28

@dkdk123 have you tried slimming world? Quite easy and you can eat loads (I'm just lazy and don't it lol!) I think it's fertility and pregnancy friendly and although I only lose a lb a week on it it's better than nothing I've got 20lbs to lose to be back to my wedding weight 🤣 or possibly 40lb to lose if I get pregnant in the next year hah x but trying to start it up now to lose some weight/maintain hopefully when I get a bfp x

lucyrp · 03/06/2020 11:33

I've never been to the loo so much in my life I've already been like 5 times this morning I'm fed up of seeing the bathroom 😂😂
