@Hogrider hahaha funny you say that, I'm a nurse and used to work in a GP surgery in my local area, went to pick my daughter up from school one day and realised I had done half of the playgrounds smear tests 😂🙈

@lucyrp - I’m now 13dpo. I would say about a week before my af. I have to be honest I had no symptoms really apart from I was bloated and abit gassy. But since yesterday I keep getting random twinges in my belly it feels very weird x

Oooh I have a good smear story to add @Minster2012 and @Hogrider

I crashed a go-kart a couple of years ago, and it left me with some really nasty bruising/pinch marks on my bum and inner thighs... You know those awful raised blood blister type bruises, that you normally get on your thumb when you hit it with a hammer? They were like that but pretty big, sitting down was VERY uncomfortable for about a week.

Anyway, shortly after this go-kart incident, I have my smear booked in. So I'm laying there, legs up in the air, the nurse gets her miners headlight on looks between my legs and shouts "OH MY GOD!"

I'm laying there thinking shit, what's happened have I grown a nob or something?! Before she explains she'd seen my bruises and had been shocked... Never been so concerned about the state of my vag in my life 🙈😂 One thing I will say for that experience though - I've never been worried about going for my smear since. The time after that, I sneezed and ejected the speculum 🤷‍♀️

@Runnergirl1 ahhh that's strange as that's exactly what mine has been like! Like white and thick in my pants after which is not normal for me. However I'm sooo sure I'm out this month so god knows! Also I'm only 4/6 dpo depending on which app I look at so I guess I wouldn't have even implanted yet so I'm clutching at straws 😂

@TTCgee don’t rule yourself out u TIL your out that’s what someone said to me on here as I ruled myself out early due to not DTD around ovulation but here we are. Oh I had really really vivid dreams too very early on. Like they where so detailed and felt extremely real x

Welcome @Hogrider none of my friends but my dad is on the patients association at my Drs so wouldn't shut up about him during my smear, she also proceeded to ask if I could get her son an internship at my work while she had a swab inside me 😂

@Hogrider omg I think I would have died! I'm not sure I could have gone through with it or just said "nope" and rescheduled?

My friend gave birth to #1 a few years back and her midwife turned out to be her husband's ex wife's best friend. And they don't have an amicable relationship with the ex! In my head I was thinking she'd def be taking note of her fifi and 42 week swollen appearance and report back to the ex how awful she looked...

I'm currently CD10, & ovulate CD14-17, have 28day cycles.
So my story is.....
We were on holiday last year, I got pissed out my face & ended up with my head down the bog, it dawned on me 2days later that I couldn't remember if I took my Tampax out that night, I then panicked🙈 so got my OH to give me a thorough investigation to see if he could feel it😂 I wasn't convinced that I'd taken it out, so I made him give me a running commentary while he was fishing around inside my cervix🙈
No Chloe there's nothing in there..... I'm now touching the front, the back & now sweeping all round the sides of it, I can't get any further with my fingers, there's nothing in there woman!😆😆
I finally believed him after about 5mins of thorough fishing 🎣 💦
