Setting up this new thread for all the lovely ladies who have been on the ttc after miscarriage journey. And also all the ladies who have had their bfps but still want to stay in touch:)

Ah I’m sorry AF arrived @ELM7, hope you’re ok. it’s so rubbish that it’s taking so long for lots of us 😣 Just got to try and stay positive xx

Morning :D have had some EWCM since yesterday so probably will ovulate within a week:D

Haven't decided if I will use opks....might do one each morning or something just to see if I am peaking when I think. But not gonna do them multiple times per day.

We have our initial fertility consultation today so apprehensive as to what they will say but will be good to get the ball rolling!

@Annny27 hope the consultation goes well. Let us know what they say.

I’m the same with OPKs in thinking I might not bother this cycle but sure when it comes to it the POAS addiction will take over.

Morning everyone CD22 here and nada, nothing! I'm trying to not let it get to me but I just don't understand what's wrong with my body! It's never done this to me before so why now?! 😫 we've decided that we're just going to keep trying this month even if I don't ovulate until really late again. I'd rather not as I know I'm going to worry that the late ovulation is a bad sign and inevitably it won't end well but I also can't keep putting everything on hold in the hope my body sorts itself out 😑 I'm worrying now that there is something else going off. When I went for acupuncture yesterday she did say she didn't expect my cycle to go straight back to normal after almost 3 months without a period but I can't help feeling a bit disheartened with it all.

Also I must say I'm so jealous of you being a size 6, I've never been anywhere near that! I've always been a "curvier girl" 😳 haha

@Fizzl I really hope you get your ov soon! Sounds so frustrating. Try not to worry if you can or it may delay it further 💕

@ELM7 yeah I think opks are good but also I stress about making sure my urine is diluted enough for them and stuff like that haha

@fizzl awwh its frustrating :( yeah I would also just keep on trying..the point to remember is that the uterus lining doesn't start thickening untill after the egg is released so nothing will be old or bad for your baby :)

@Nuggetlover27 Cross posts! Thank you! I am excited just to get the ball rolling! Haha well now I am a more comfortable size 8! I have always been pretty tiny think its genetic really. I am always jealous of curvier girls - boobs hips and a bum are all a distant dream to me 🤣

@Nuggetlover27 that's my worry too! Trying to stay zen about it all I just really thought the last few months were a one off blip and it'd go back to normal now.

@Annny27 you're right and that's what I'll keep reminding myself! I can also relate to not having any boobs 😂 I'm a size 10 but have nothing on my top half at all! That's one perk I'm hoping for from pregnancy - bigger boobs!

How was your appointment today?

@Fizzl yes my pregnancy boobs were actual boobs and it was delightful!!

My appointment was reassuring he basically said that from my last ultrasounds (after mc) , my thyroid tests and the fact that we got pregnant that he doesn't think tjere is anything to worry about. I mentioned about the spottinf and sometimes variable LP and he said not to worry but he has prescribed my progesterong suppositories to take from ovulation to period and then for the first month or so if i do get pregnant. So thats puts me at ease a little! But he said he is reluctant to do any more tests as he thinks its just a test of time (which I know he is right haha) its just unfair that it takes some so long and others fall easily i guess!

@Annny27 that sounds really positive, great to have the progesterone just in case! That’s what I’m hoping they’ll prescribe me when I get seen at the recurrent miscarriage clinic 🤞🏻
@Fizzl really hope ov is just round the corner for you and not going to be awol again!
I’m 8dpo and have stupidly just tested as had a bit of a hot flush/dizzy spell earlier and think I can see a line. But it’s crazy early so don’t want to read too much into it. Have ordered some FRERs to come tomorrow 🤞🏻

Have you taken another test this morning or waiting for the frers @scrumdiddly123 🤞🤞

Yes he basically said there's a slight chance it may improve outcomes and can't hurt to take it!

@Annny27 yes have just tested again and the line is a bit darker and definitely pink. Hard to pick up with the camera though but I’ll post a pic anyway. And hopefully FRER will give a clearer answer later!

Ah thanks @Annny27 I really hope so. It’s a wondfo test which is all I have leftover from last month and I got an evap then so feeling a bit nervous! And also annoyed at myself for testing so early 🙈 I do it every time!
Yes only 9dpo or possibly 10 but definitely no more than that which is mad!

@Annny27 sounds really positive from your appointment yesterday. Now you just have to do the impossible and be patient haha

Oh wow congrats @scrumdiddly123 that's looking really good!! When are you doing the FRER? It's so hard not to test early! But looking at that line on that test you should get a pretty decent on on a FRER!!

@Leok83 the frers have only just arrived and we’re out at a bbq now so will have to wait til we get home! Hopefully I’ll be able to do a 2- hour hold 😬🤞🏻

Finally got home and done my FRER, it’s been torture waiting all evening!

It’s faint but there! And much pinker than the picture shows 🥳🥳 can’t believe it! Just got to hope this one stays put 🙏🤞🏻

@scrumdiddly123 that’s not faint. No doubting it’s a BFP so huge congratulations!

Omg thats 100% a bfp and at 9dpo as well thats amazing :D congratulations lovely! Yes lets hope this sticks!! Could you see your gp about prescribing progesterone as a precaution? Does no harm!
