Morning:D absolutely boiling in the south East - been trying to lay low and avoid the sun haha

9dpo nothing to report. Will test on saturday/Sunday because if its bfn then I should stop with the progesterone

@SunnySideUp2020 I am hoping that no symptoms is promissing haha. But either way likely just to mean nothing 🤣 how is reunion? Are you affected by the oil spill in Mauritius?

@fizzl yep 3dpo is physically impossible but some women swear thay they experience symptoms from like 1dpo? Haha

@Babyghirl some months I get ahead of myself and other months I am quite calm and collective haha

@nuggetlover27 what Cd are you now?

SunnySideUp2020 · 11/08/2020 17:45

@Annny27 no fortunately they are saying it shouldn't reach us... such a sad thing to be happening on top of everything else though. :/

Reunion is very quiet and i am spending most of my days horizontal 😁
Tomorrow we are supposed to take a boat to observe whales and dolphins in the ocean... dreading the sea sickness 😪

Good luck for your testing. I have everything crossed for you!
You could even test earlier I'd say. Like Friday 🤔

Nuggetlover27 · 11/08/2020 20:30

@Fizzl I have no idea how people just sail through TWW. And the people who didn't know they was pregnant for months also amaze me haha

@Annny27 🤞🏻 for your test at the weekend! I'm CD11 at the moment. Trying to eat lots of fruit and veg to see if it helps 🤷🏻‍♀️ haha

Leok83 · 12/08/2020 07:41

@Annny27 no symptoms has definitely been a positive symptom in itself for some of us! That will be some will power waiting to test until sat/sun!! Best of luck for when you do!!🤞🤞🤞

Abi0795 · 12/08/2020 07:58

Morning ladies,

Hope your all surviving like the TWW 😫 forgot how hard it was.

I'm just really looking for some advice, are there any things you do to stay positive and get through this? I'm really worried I won't get pregnant again after my MC and tbh I think I'm a bit depressed too 😣 it's all I can think about and I'm very emotional about it.

Thanks so much 💖

Babyghirl · 12/08/2020 12:42

@Abi0795

I'm in the same boat at you after my first loss took me ten months to fall pregnant again only to loss that one to 😪😪😪😪😪😪 I'm now on ten month after the second loss and I feel like it's never going to happen again. I know I'm a bit depressed but I try to keep my head above the water and get on with it nt ideal tbh.

Abi0795 · 12/08/2020 12:44

I'm the same @Babyghirl I really do feel depressed for the first time in my life. I've always suffered anxiety, but I've never felt this low and I can't believe how draining this experience really is.

Babyghirl · 12/08/2020 13:31

@abi0795

It's an awful feeling isn't it feeling like it's never going to happen, takes people to be through wat we been through to understand kills me everyday getting up like nothing is wrong, but one thing is fir sure girl we got this we can get pregnant and it will happen again for us r rainbow babies r on there way and it's going to be amazing xxx 💚💚💚💚💚

Annny27 · 13/08/2020 08:45

morning ladies :) 11dpo now and the progesterone suppositories have kicked in, combined with the awful nights sleep from the heat is making me feel rough haha! It was sooo hot last night but we have had some storms so hopefully will cool down today

@sunnysideup2020 oh thats good that its not directly affecting you. Relaxing sounds bliss but the boat trip might be a bit rough haha. How was it?

@Nuggetlover27 I need to start eating more fruit and veg! My diet is pretty much chocolate based at the moment

@Leok83 I think I am just not that interested in testing anymore as its been bad news for the last 8 months haha! Its always deflating to see bfn haha

@Abi0795 @Babyghirl I felt particularly low a few months ago about ttc but I have managed to pick myself up slighyly the last 2 months!

OP posts:
SunnySideUp2020 · 13/08/2020 09:11

@Annny27 well i fed the fish. It was horrible but we saw whales and dolphins in the wild so was kind of worth it 😁

I really hope this is your month x

scrumdiddly123 · 13/08/2020 09:11

Exciting @Annny27 not much longer to wait! This weather has been awful I couldn’t sleep last night had the fan on me and a cold flannel on my head which helped a bit 🥵How have you found the progesterone? Wondering if they will mention it to me tomorrow when I go for my scan assuming things are looking ok

Babyghirl · 13/08/2020 09:15

@Annny27

I always feel positive before ovulation then when it's over the positive leaves me lol. I might nxt cycle not even take my temp and just dtd as often as possible. Try to take the relax approach for awhile c how I do have you to take a test soon to c your outcome. 💚💚💚💚💚

SunnySideUp2020 · 13/08/2020 10:38

@scrumdiddly123 good luck with the scan tomorrow, let us know how it goes!
Hopefully you get to see your little bean and a nice heartbeat x

ChampooPapi · 13/08/2020 12:55

@scrumdiddly123 we'll all be thinking of you tomorrow so you better update by the evening woman! 🥰

scrumdiddly123 · 13/08/2020 13:04

@SunnySideUp2020 @ChampooPapi thank you! I will update as soon as I’m home. My appt is at 8.30 so at least I won’t have to wait around all day! My nausea has ramped up this last day or two to a pretty much constant level, definitely feel so much more ill then I have done with my losses so taking that as a positive 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Ljm0101 · 13/08/2020 18:31

Hey ladies, unfortunately this pregnancy was not meant to be which is leading me back to this thread. I just wanted to come back before you guys start a new thread and I can't find you. Also looking for a bit of advice my last miscarriage I started bleeding naturally at around 7 weeks where as this one is a missed miscarriage and the nurse sent me home from
Hospital today with a load of leaflets and I wasn't really taking in what she was saying. I don't really want to go back into hospital on my own as today was horrendous (bloody COVID-19) so did anyone wait for things to start naturally? Many thanks xxx

Babyghirl · 13/08/2020 19:20

@Ljm0101

So sorry your going through this again my first loss I was ten weeks 5 days I felt like something was wrong from bot 8 weeks or so never had a scan thou to I started bleeding, I starting bleeding brown on the Tuesday and it started to turn red on the sat I went to the hospital and they send me home with in 4 hours I was bck down again as bleeding got really bad and I was getting dizzy had to stay in hospital over night and take the tablets on the Sunday morning for everything to pass. Hopefully things go smoothly as they can for you and look after yourself xxx 💚💚💚💚

ELM7 · 13/08/2020 19:21

@Ljm0101 I’m so sorry to see you are going through this again. Sending big hugs to you and your DP.

Sorry don’t have any advice on waiting for things to happen naturally as I went straight for having the op but can understand under the current circumstances why you would want to wait rather than spending time in hospital. xx

scrumdiddly123 · 13/08/2020 19:42

So sorry @Ljm0101 😔
I was ‘lucky’ in the sense that I was told to come back in 2 weeks for a rescan but began bleeding almost straight away and lost everything naturally at home. I had the scan 2 weeks later which showed it was a complete miscarriage. Thinking of you and we’re all here if you need anything xxx

SunnySideUp2020 · 14/08/2020 06:02

@Ljm0101 unfortunately i also don't have any advice, as mine started naturally with brownish spotting and eventually a full mc over a few days.
Have they not offered you a d&c or tablets?
Sending hugs 💕

Annny27 · 14/08/2020 07:48

Hi @Ljm0101 so sorry for your loss :(

I have experience of natural management, medical (tablet) management and surgical management 🙈

We found out around 9/10 weeks that the baby had potentially stopped growing and after it was confirmed we waited an extra 2 weeks of natural management and nothing happened! Literally not even a spot of blood.

So at 12 weeks I had the tablets to induce a miscarriage which worked and I started to bleed that afternoon. After 4 days of passing clots and after I had lost a lot of blood, I ended up needing emergency surgery to remove the last bit. However I don't think that that result was because of the tablets - even if i had had a natural miscarriage I would have still probably have had retained products and blood loss and would have needed the surgery.

No option is great really as losing a baby is awful in itself :(

P.s i think my period is starting today at 12dpo.....very crampy and boobs less sore. Onto month 9 if it is 🙄🙄🙄

Oh @Ljm0101 I'm so sorry 💐 I think this is everyone's worse nightmare and I'm sorry you're in this situation.

I'm also not sure I have much advice. I found out about my mmc only a few days after the baby had stopped developing so nothing naturally had started to happen at that point. I was offered all 3 options but at the time I couldn't bear the thought of just waiting for things to happen and there were some concerns around blood loss if I took the tablets so I opted for surgery. I did have to wait a week for the surgery because I'd been on aspirin and absolutely nothing happened at all during that time - not even a spec of blood/spotting. If things were happening naturally I would have let it continue though I think. It's such a difficult choice, I remember when I was being asked what I wanted to do thinking I don't want any of these options, I want my baby and none felt like the 'right' option. It felt a really brutal decision to make.

@Annny27 have you not tested yet at 12dpo? That's some serious will power if you haven't.

@scrumdiddly123 hope everything goes well for you today 💐

BeeMakesTea · 14/08/2020 08:57

@Ljm0101 so sorry to hear you’re going through this again.
I found out at my dating scan, and had another scan a week later to confirm. By this time I’d started bleeding a bit so I opted to wait for it to happen naturally (tablet wasn’t an option for me). The bleeding did get a bit heavier but then stopped and another scan confirmed it was still there. Eventually I opted to have surgery- it was about 3.5 weeks from finding out to having the surgery.
I really wanted it to happen naturally but I found the waiting torturous. I will say the surgery was completely fine and recovery was easier than I expected. This was during Covid too so I had to go to all scans and the surgery on my own.
It is a really hard decision. Maybe when the news has sunk in a bit you could call the EPU and ask them to go through the options again with you on the phone, maybe have your DH there so he can help take it all in?

scrumdiddly123 · 14/08/2020 09:51

Thanks @Fizzl and @Annny27, I just got home. Everything is looking good so far! Saw a gestational sac with a yolk sac and a tiny fetal pole. No HB yet but the sonographer said she isn’t concerned at all and she saw everything she’d expect for a 5-6 week pregnancy. They’re going to rescan me in 12 days so just got to stay positive that there will be a little heartbeat when I go back! 🤞🏻🤞🏻
