Wooohoooooo @scrumdiddly123 this is AMAZING!! Massive congrats lovey ❤️❤️

Fizzl · 30/07/2020 21:42

Ah the BFP have been coming thick and fast these past two weeks! That's definitely a positive @scrumdiddly123! Congratulations!!

@Annny27 what a depressing thought for us 😅 it's really sad to think there's soon going to be nobody left to keep the support going! It's obviously great that everyone else has their BFP and I'm so pleased as everyone deserves this opportunity but it's getting very lonely on here now and is a sad reminder for us ☹️. I just have this gut feeling I'm in this for the long haul 😑

Glad your appointment went well tho! It's really positive they have given you progesterone as a bit of a back up! Hopefully it will help 🤞

I've decided I'm cutting back on my exercise. I genuinely don't think my lack of ovulation is because of exercising as I've always done this but I have started to do a few more hiit workouts in the lead up to ovulation and now wondering if it's linked?! I think I'm clutching at straws tho looking for an explanation ☹️

Annny27 · 30/07/2020 22:08

As the last ones left I'm making a pact to stay around even if I get my bfp :D us dinosaurs gotta look out for eachother haha 🦖🦕 (honestly if I didn't laugh I would cry so I'm all for the humour at the moment haha)

Got to show you this photo which made me laugh as well

@fizzl it is worth a short, i know that sometimes extensive exercise can stop periods so it night be a contributing factor! Hopefully you ovulate soon. Have you had any ewcm or anything or is it nothing so far?

Fizzl · 30/07/2020 22:32

@Annny27 I'll join that pact with you! 🦖

I also get the if you don't laugh you'll cry! I've definitely reached that point. It's almost like I've gone past caring (that's a lie, I haven't but it's just not bothering me as much and I'm trying to see the humour).

Haha love a good fertility meme! It's definitely true - although I know it was unlikely think I always secretly hoped/thought that it would just happen again as soon as we starting trying 🙄

Nope no ewcm, not even an inclination of a sign that I'm about to ovulate. And of course I've googled late ovulation and miscarriage and now thinking we maybe need to write this month off too! I've stopped worrying about an old lining and now worried my eggs are overcooked 😂 arghh 🤯

Nuggetlover27 · 31/07/2020 08:09

Congrats @scrumdiddly123 !

So many BFPs this last month! Shows that there is hope

@Annny27 I will also join the 🦕 pact ! That photo 😂 so true! thats the thing that everyone tells you when you're younger , but no! So not true lol
Don't know when it's gonna be our turn :/.
Before bed last night I went a wee and when I wiped there was a small amount of blood on the tissue. I don't know if that means AF is on her way, but also keep trying to convince myself I have sore boobs etc. It's a constant mental battle.

@Fizzl I agree, happy for everyone else but jealous we are still here so long after MC 😔
Cutting exercise may be a good idea. Last month when my cycle was delayed the only thing I can think was different was that me and DH had started doing regular bike rides

Does anyone else love reading and getting lost in a good book? I'm reading a book at the moment that I'm really enjoying, getting lost in a world that's not the real one. It's helping using it as a distraction to try not to get upset over the constant TTC battle. I'm sick of all the tears.

Sorry for the quite negative post this morning ladies. I hope you're all doing well?

Ejb86 · 31/07/2020 08:45

I'm so pleased for you @scrumdiddly123!

It surely can't be long before the rest of you get your BFPs. You ladies are amazingly strong and deserve every happiness. You guys kept me sane for all those months of trying and it is very much appreciated.

Leok83 · 31/07/2020 09:19

@scrumdiddly123 massive congrats 🎉🎉!! There's definitely no denying that's a positive!

@Annny27 @Fizzl @Nuggetlover27 @ELM7 I'm still checking in daily to see how you all are and looking forward to the day (and it will happen) you all join the graduate thread! I did think to myself just before the BFP that it's going to be pretty lonely when everyone has left, but I definitely haven't left the thread..just quiet on it! xx

@Annny27 im glad to see your referral went well and you got some progesterone prescribed!

@Fizzl your body is really giving you the run around😕, hopefully cutting the exercise a bit helps. If you are very fit it can definitely delay things so worth a try!

@Nuggetlover27 hopefully that spotting is implantation and not AF on the way!

Annny27 · 31/07/2020 09:28

I am so shocked with how positive I feel this month. Maybe its because we had a little UK holiday so I feel refreshed and not depressed about coronavirus haha!

@scrumdiddly123 did you do another test this morning or are you waiting a little bit?

@fizzl i have never heard anything about over rippened eggs causing issues. People with PCOS ovulate really randomly and can still get pregnant! I personally wouldn't wait another cycle especially if its projected to be a long one! But your call entirely ofcourse!

@nuggetlover27 we all go through times of negativity! I was definitley themost negative person ever in months 6-7! I think its just the lows and highs (e.g. the slightly less lows :p) of ttc haha!

@leok83 what keeps me motivated is that i can go from ttc to bfp in a matter of seconds so it gives me hope! Whens your scan?

@ejb86 thanks lovely! Csnt wait :D

Its BLOODY boiling in the south today - 32 degrees is the predicted temp 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🌡🌡🌡🌡 can't wait to DTD later 🤣🤣🤣🤣

@Annny27 @Fizzl @Nuggetlover27 we will keep each other going until we have the final 4 BFP’s - it’s a 🦕 pact!

Where about’s down south have you gone @Annny27. I live in Dorset and the weather is stunning here today. Enjoy the break

SunnySideUp2020 · 31/07/2020 09:47

@scrumdiddly123 what a nice bfp!!!!!!! Congratulations lovely 🥳🥳🥳🥳
We are a few days apart!!

@Annny27 good that they prescribed you the progesterone and that everything looked ok!
Let's hope it happens soon. Has your dp done a sample too??

Leok83 · 31/07/2020 09:49

@Annny27 fair play to you for being positive! It's the best way to be but it's not easy at times. And I am sooo jealous you have some sunshine!! It's literally rained here for the last 2 months!
My GP referred me to EPU for an early scan so getting it next Tuesday (I should be 7 weeks then). I doubt I'll get offered another free scan before 12 weeks then though if everything is ok (🤞) so I'll prob try and book in a 9 week scan privately then too.

@Fizzl I do agree with @Annny27 that the length it takes to ovulate has no bearing on your eggs or the lining of your uterus. Would you maybe consider talking to a repro specialist about it to put your mind at ease and to know you are doing the right thing? Sometimes google is your worst enemy and better to go straight to a qualified expert as a lot of the sites with information aren't the best. And you wouldn't want to miss the opportunity on a long cycle if you knew it was no riskier than a regular cycle then. xx

Annny27 · 31/07/2020 10:02

We are nearly peaking 🥳 (says the girl who isn't doing opks this month ......🤥😄)

@SunnySideUp2020 not yet - the consultant said not to bother at the moment.....would have taken 5 seconds for him to provide a sample so feels a quick non invasive test to do haha. But I am jappy to wait at the moment. The doctor basically said the progesterone suppositories will provide very little benefit but i want to give them a go!

@Leok83 so exciting not long then to wait!!!

@ELM7 I am actually back home now (still south east) but we were down in west wittering area for a seaside break :D Dorsets a lovely place to be though!

@Annny27 @Leok83 @MilsCookie @SunnySideUp2020 @Fizzl @Elm7 @Ejb86 @TerribleImagination
Thank you so much for the lovely messages! I’ve been so lucky to have the support of this group and definitely won’t be going anywhere yet! Things change so quickly, a few days ago I was sure this cycle was the same as the rest and we’d actually decided that if we didn’t fall this month we’d stop trying for a few months. I’d totally relaxed this cycle, not temped every day (did it a handful of times just to conform ov), only did a few opks and then ran out and didn’t stress about that when I normally would have done. Also we DTD a grand total of twice during the whole cycle 😂
So it’s been unexpected especially to get a bfp so early! I haven’t really had any symptoms apart from the funny turn at 8dpo. I had the exact same thing when I conceived my youngest so that was a big clue and what made me test! My boobs are a bit sore but apart from that I feel normal. Obviously terrified but nothing I can do just look after myself. It’ll either work out or it won’t so just got to take it each day as it comes!
If I make it to 5 weeks then I’ll ring EPU and book in for a scan at 6 weeks.
For those of you lovely ladies still waiting we’re all still here for you and it will happen for all of us soon I’m sure!
Sorry if I missed anyone, and @Anny27 yes I tested again this morning with a cheapie. Going to try and hold off on my last FRER til AF is actually due on Monday 🤞🏻

Nuggetlover27 · 31/07/2020 14:50

@Leok83 I'm hoping it is implantation but trying not to rely too much on that thought if that makes sense

@Annny27 yay to nearly peeking! Knew you'd give in to the POAS 😂

@scrumdiddly123 congrats again hun! Thanks for the pointers as well. Seems as though a lot of ladies who have been getting their BFPs have had a relaxing month and not thinking about it all too much, it's so hard though haha

Ahh congrats @MilsCookie! What a beautiful ring! I hope you're enjoying your break!

It's soo hot here (in Essex) today! Way too hot to be stuck in an office, haha. Hope everyone is enjoying the sun!

SunnySideUp2020 · 31/07/2020 15:41

Love that we're calling these BFDs now 🤣 - Anny you've started something!
