Thanks ladies :)

@Fizzl a confused uterus sounds like a good diagnosis. Hopefully not confused for too long!

@Leok83 definitely gearing up this opk!
What CD are you on?

@BeeMakesTea sorry to see you again here. I remember you from the pasts threads...
That sounds really awful. I dont know about surgical management unfortunately 😕
Do you have an appointment already ? Sending hugs x

ELM7 · 02/06/2020 20:14

@Annny27 and @Leok83 hope you are having fun DTD with those positive OPKs.

@scrumdiddly123 hope you are surviving the TWW - are you going to test or wait for AF?

@Fizzl I do like the thought of our uteruses being confused.

@SunnySideUp2020 hope it all goes ok for you tomorrow

SunnySideUp2020 · 02/06/2020 20:15

@BeeMakesTea sorry didn't see that it was Friday. Hope the other ladies who experienced it can answer your questions and you can go in less anxious.

SunnySideUp2020 · 02/06/2020 20:16

Thanks @ELM7

scrumdiddly123 · 02/06/2020 21:09

Hi @ELM7, I’m pretty sure I’m out. Had a bit of brown spotting again early evening so decided to check my cervix and sorry tmi but this made me bleed a lot, like proper AF bleeding. Haven’t had any more since but pretty sure she’ll be here tomorrow and I just disturbed things up there 😳 how are you getting on?

That’s a great positive @Annny27 and CD14 too! 👌🏼 Happy BD’ing and to Leok83 too!

@Fizzl your doctors diagnosis made me laugh! I think we’re all suffering from confused uteruses right now 🤣 good that they’ve seen you though, I hope the swabs come back ok.

Good luck for your appointment @SunnySideUp2020, I hope it’s quick and painless! Good they’ll give you the GA.

welcome back @BeeMakesTea and so sorry for your loss. I don’t have any advice as have lost all of mine naturally but thinking of you x

BeeMakesTea · 02/06/2020 21:44

Thank you ladies for all your kind words and reassurance, I am feeling slightly less nervous now. It’s been about 3 weeks since we found out and the waiting has been awful so I feel ready but just nervous about any complications etc.

I think we will wait a cycle before TTC again, so won’t properly be joining the boards for a few weeks yet. I was thinking about using cheap OPKs for this cycle, even though we’re not trying, just so I can see if/ when I ovulate and when to expect AF, I think it’ll help me feel a bit more in control. But I’ve not used them before- will I have to wait until I’ve had a BFN to use them? Also I’ve had a look on Amazon and seen a few brands eg. Wondfo, Easy@Home, One Step, does anyone have any recommendations or are they all pretty similar?

ELM7 · 02/06/2020 21:49

Ahh no sorry @scrumdiddly123 that it looks like AF is making her appearance.

10dpo here and had cramps and back ache last couple of days and dip in RHR today so sure AF isn’t far away.

Fizzl · 02/06/2020 22:07

We have to laugh about these things don't we! I have seen the funny side to it and it's strangely taken away my frustration. I almost feel sorry for my confused uterus now 😂. So yes maybe that's how we need to view it. Our bodies are not letting us down or broken, just our uterus is confused.

@BeeMakesTea I'm so sorry you're back here with us. I had a D&C or ERPC, not sure if there's a difference. It was totally fine. Like I just mentioned in my previous post I was terrified before. I'd never had any surgery or anaesthetic and was so nervous. But it was honestly fine and everyone was really reassuring. I was only knocked out for less than an hour and home by late afternoon.

The recovery was ok I didn't have any pain at all but I did have bleeding for 3 weeks which felt never ending, whereas some people seem to have pain but no bleeding at all so I guess it will just depend how your body reacts. We were advised to wait at least one cycle to help prevent infection and future dating for pregnancies. We actually waited 3 as we wanted to give my body more time to heal and for us to feel 'ready' again but this is totally personal. Ironically my cycles were pretty regular those first few months after it's now month 6 that things have got a little to pot so maybe I should have started again sooner! But I'm sure you will be fine and the surgery will go ok 💐

I wouldn't wait for a bfn to start using opk's. I didn't get a negative pregnancy test before af arrived so I ovulated whilst still bleeding and with hcg still in my system. I've also used onestep for a long time and they seem fine to me. I've tried easy@home this month but not ovulated so can't comment on their accuracy.

@Leok83 that's definitely almost positive! Yes I'm feeling better tonight. I spoke with a different gp this time and he seemed a little more clued up and said 6 weeks without a period is not normal for me so they'd just start to rule a few things out.

@SunnySideUp2020 hope everything goes well tomorrow 💐 will be thinking of you. I hope my confused uterus also unconfuses itself pretty quickly! It's not ideal when ttc 😂

@scrumdiddly123 sorry it looks like af is on her way 😞

SunnySideUp2020 · 03/06/2020 09:05

@ELM7 these sound like early pregnancy symptoms too... will you test before af?

I am awake from the procedure.

Initially they didnt give me GEneral anaesthetic. Just something in the canula that made me feel like i had 5 shots of vodka one after the other. It obviously made easier the hysteroscopy and although i felt strong cramps it was much easier to deal with feeling so out of it lol
But she said i have lots of small polyps which need removal otherwise chances of successful pregnancy are low. So they gave me the general and i was out.
Now i just have like period cramps continuously but nothing unbearable. I am laying down in the recovery room waiting for someone to tell me i can eat!!!!

SunnySideUp2020 · 03/06/2020 09:06

I meant they put me to sleep and apparently cut out all the polyps...

Leok83 · 03/06/2020 09:12

@SunnySideUp2020 I’m CD 15 today so I’m pretty happy it’s not a late ovulation this cycle. Best of luck today!!

@scrumdiddly123 sorry it looks like AF on the way 🙁

@BeeMakesTea wow 3 weeks is a long time to wait. I had mine the day after I found out about MMC. The wait must be awful for you. The OPKs can give a false positive is HCG still in system so I found temping more accurate after. If using opk I use the easy@home. Did use CB advanced ones for a while which are very good but also very expensive and now I know on average when ov is I don’t get those anymore.

@Fizzl that’s good, hopefully they get to the bottom of it soon.

@ELM7 those can also be symptoms so don’t lose hope!

Got my peak this morning 😊 CD15..was at 4 am so not sure if ov will be today or tomorrow. Did another this morning and still looks peak but premom reading it as a bit lower and typically I have now run out of opks!

BeeMakesTea · 03/06/2020 09:43

Thanks @Fizzl for sharing your experience. I’ve never had any surgery or a general anaesthetic either, and I’m really hoping the recovery is not too bad. But it is reassuring to know lots of people have been through this and been fine. I hope your confused uterus sorts itself out soon!

@Leok83 it’s been 3 weeks because I had my dating scan where it was discovered, then had to wait a week for a follow up scan and appointment at EPU. By that point I had started bleeding so I opted to wait to see if it happened naturally. But the bleeding stopped last week so I went for another scan where they said the sac is still there so I decided to have the surgery as I can’t handle the waiting any more! I think we will try the CB ones when actually TTC but just want to get some cheap ones for this month to keep an eye on my cycle. Interesting about the false positive risk though. I’ve never tried temping.

@SunnySideUp2020 glad your procedure went ok.

Annny27 · 03/06/2020 09:56

My peak has turned into a high today so I ovulated on cd15 (and it happens to be my due date so I hope my little angel baby gives me a new baby haha)

@sunnsideup2020 glad its all over with- did you have any symptoms of polyps like bleeding or discomfort? I am hoping that all the guess work. I don't know about you but I hate the feeling of seditative drugs when they make you feel woozy- I really don't like the effect haha

@Leok83 yay we may be cycle buddies off by a day then :) I usually ovulate on the same day as my peak but this month had 2 days of peak!

@fizzl yes thats so frustrating that your first 3 cycles were regular and now they have hay wired. Typical luck 😪 any more sign of spotting or AF?

@scrumdiddly123 @ELM7 keep us updated as to whether AF stays away or arrives. I know scrumdiddly has tested, have you @ELM7 ?

@BeeMakesTea I use the femometer LH opks (from amazon) or the one step ones (also amazon) - and they work well for me :)

SunnySideUp2020 · 03/06/2020 10:53

@annny27
I just had discomfort and pains towards the end of cycle which since the mc have been a lot more intense like waking me up at night.
I dont know if that was the cause but we will see... i also have heavy and long periods.

The drugs have worn off i am now just a bit tired but feeling myself again!!

ELM7 · 03/06/2020 11:02

@SunnySideUp2020 glad it’s all done and you are feeling like yourself again. Make sure you take it easy though.

I do hate that AF symptoms and early pregnancy symptoms are the same. I am determined not to waste a test until AF is due on Sat. We will see how my willpower holds out. RHR has dropped again this morning so would be more surprised if AF didn’t show than if she did. Only a few more days to go and I should know one way or another.

@Annny27 welcome to the TWW - I really hope your angel baby has sent you a rainbow.

scrumdiddly123 · 03/06/2020 12:42

11 or 12dpo today and BFN, even wasted a FRER 😫 I woke up feeling so sick, had a couple of dizzy spells this morning and a hot flush which are usually my go to preg signs! But tests are absolutely stark white 👎🏻
My bleeding stopped and just got brown dc again! Driving me mad I just want to know! Usually have a 12 day LP so AF will be due tomorrow or Friday x

SunnySideUp2020 · 03/06/2020 13:54

@scrumdiddly sorry it was negative xx

@ELM7 they are the same indeed but i found when i was pregnant they showed up a bit earlier and lasted more than a day..

@Leok83 nice positive! Enjoy the bding! 😊

@Annny27 would be lovely that this cycle is your rainbow 🌈 fingers crossed

@Fizzl glad your gp also realised that 6 weeks is not normal for someone or typically has regular cycles. When will u get swabs results?

The doctor said now my uterus should be perfect. She gave me super strong supplements.
Folic acid 1000 (compared to 400 in uk)
Iron and vitamin D on top
She said we should resume sex in 5 days and try this month and next and she is hopeful it will happen

Annny27 · 03/06/2020 14:00

@scrumdiddly123 sorry about the bfn :( sometimes I get nausea and dizziness just before my period.....which is annoying as I always assume pregnant!

@sunnysideup2020 I really hope so haha! Hopefully the pain and issues will go now :) did the doctor mention having to wait a certain amount of time before dtd and trying this cycle?

@ELM7 it is torture waiting for AF isn't it! I don't know much about RHR and pregnancy - did yours increase last time you were pregnant then?

OP posts:
SunnySideUp2020 · 03/06/2020 15:18

@Annny27 we posted together i think.
She said to start dtd in 4 days to maximise chances this cycle.
And to try july and august.
And if nothing then they will do an insemination... but she is fairly confident i ring her to tell her we got a bfp before 😁

scrumdiddly123 · 03/06/2020 16:39

Glad it’s all over and done with @SunnySideUp2020 and you’re feeling ok! Great that the doctor is so positive it’ll
Happen for you now! 🤞🏻 I’m sure it will! We’re certainly ready for some more BFPs on here xx

scrumdiddly123 · 03/06/2020 16:42

Amazing willpower @ELM7 well done! I’m terrible, as soon as I get past 7dpo I can’t stop POAS 😳 fingers crossed AF stays away for us both x

Fizzl · 03/06/2020 20:36

@SunnySideUp2020 I'm glad everything has gone well! It's great your doctor seems so positive, that's a good sign. And great you can ttc this month too! Fingers crossed for you! I loved that feeling of having 5 vodka shots. The anaesthetist told me i would feel like I'd had a few glasses of wine and I remember saying great because I hadn't touched any for over 10 weeks at that point 😂 probably a little inappropriate considering the circumstances.

@Leok83 that's definitely a positive looking opk there!

@Annny27 is it your due date today? Maybe it is a sign! No sign of AF for me and the brown spotting has been pretty much nothing today just slightly tinged sometimes 😒

@scrumdiddly123 sorry it was a bfn. I wish there were more distinguishable symptoms between pregnancy and af.

We've had another pregnancy announcement today from more friends. Same old, I'm happy for them but had a cry as it just feels so unfair that it seems to be working out for everyone else but us. I'm trying not to be bitter but when you've had a loss and now an uncooperative uterus to boot it all feels quite hard to swallow today 😒.

scrumdiddly123 · 04/06/2020 08:45

I’m out, AF arrived this morning 👎🏻

Annny27 · 04/06/2020 09:15

Morning everyone! 1dpo for me today so the two begins!

Sorry AF arrived @scrumdiddly123 :( it sucks everytime:( specially after the super long cycle that you had :(

@Leok83 are you classing today as 1dpo or tomorrow? I had 2 days of peak this month when I normally have 1!

@fizzl yes it was my due date yesterday so it would be lovely if I am pregnant this cycle as technically would have conceived on the due date - quite poetic :) oh pregnancy announcements are awful :( one of my school friends announced her pregnancy recently however she had been trying for 4 years so honestly was elated for her knowing she has been through 4 years of this!!!!!

@SunnySideUp2020 oh that's good hopefully you ovulate in like 6/7 days then that would be perfect so you get a few DTD in before :) thats promising that she expects you to fall naturally now:D
