Hello everyone,

I am 37 going on 38 in December. TTC baby number 3. Came off the pill on the 1st may (2020). Previously I was on syanna press( depo).
I ovulated yesterday 😊
I only just finished my period on the 9th so didn't expect ovulation just yet. Also I am very new to using ovulation test. This is my second time using it. I am using the easy@home brand.
I have two boys ages 15 and 3years.❤️

Please join on this journey with me, so we can cheer each other up, share advice and information etc..

@claireb707 I have ordered some online, but I think they stress me out a bit. I read you can miss a surge and in some women it only lasts a couple of hours.

I was put on an antidepressant for over a decade that sedated me and missed out when I could have had a family. It's really upset me, and it's not fair. That's why I have to try now even though it may be too late. :(

Morning ladies! Try not to be hard on yourself @musiceverywhere it's just your body doing what it needs to do to get back to normal. These pills, implants, coils etc play havoc with our bodies. 😔

CD 19 here and ive had the biggest headache. Started yesterday afternoon and ive still got it today! Pretty sure it's hormonal and means AF not far away! 😔 Still feeling crap today. I need to snap out of it. I feel miserable. Xx

@mrsttobe I’ve not been too bad the last couple of days but again that would be normal before af my moods settle a bit. Still very crampy. Going to be out all day so good distraction all round.

Hello all, not posted much on here as nothing much to update on. Dh and I have gone with the 'lets stop trying to not have a baby and see what happens!'

Stopped taking the pill on the 4th May, withdrawal bleed on the 9th - 11th May. I have now convinced myself that I am pregnant which I know is highly unlikely in such a short space of time haha! But the last couple of days I have been tired like nothing else (DD has even gone back to nursery so I have less stress at home!) and the last time I felt that tired was when I was pregnant with DD! My skin is also awful at the moment, I'm sure I can feel spots everywhere. And today I have started with light brown discharge (sorry if TMI)

Trying to resist the urge of doing a test until my period is late, but I actually don't know when I am due on since coming off the pill!

As much as I would love this to be true, I have just found out my job is at risk so not sure this would actually be a great time!

@mrsTtobe I am okay thanks for asking. I suffer with migraine and have been having one since Sunday. It's much better now.

If you're PMS symptoms are so bad it could be classed as PMDD. Which can be treated with a very low dose of Levothyroxine (thyroid medication) instead of anti depressants.

So… my first proper question now we’re officially TTC...

Came off microgynon equivalent on 22nd May. Had withdrawal bleed as usual until CD4. I’m now on CD8. My plan was/is, don’t do any proper tracking this month or until I have my first natural AF. DTD a few times between CD8-CD15 or so if we can manage it!! and just see what happens while my cycle regulates. I fully anticipate my cycle taking a while after 20+ years of pill use.

Well today I had a few short dull pains that seemed very like my memory of ovulation pain, nothing major. However, I’d be shocked if my body is already ovulating but could it start that quickly? Is it worth me using a CB ovulation stick today or tomorrow morning or am I just wasting it if I’ve already had the feeling of ovulation? DH & I DTD – ‘just for fun’ Yesterday, so if I am ovulating, great, We can try(!) again today, but – is it worth my POAS to check for a smiley face or am I likely to have missed it/been wrong anyway…

I'm getting ewcm today and I'm upset that I have no one to try with. I asked the donor if he could come round a day early and he hasn't replied. If fact it's on WhatsApp, so I know that he got the text and has been on and ignored it.

He offered to help, he approached me and it has to be now. It's time sensitive, he should know that, I'm so gutted. I've got zero chance :(

@FridaKFangirl You might be ovulating, some people never have a proper period, just come off the pill and get pregnant straight away! I would test (but then I would wouldn't I lol) I came off early May, a bit of pink spotting and then more recently what I thought was AF but then wasn't. Don't think I've ovulated and I'm not pregnant so hoping I ovulate soon!

Thank you @Sleeeeeepy... it was such a distinct feeling and having checked I’d say I’ve got something approaching EWCM but maybe I’m ‘ovulation-symptom‘ spotting!

I bet I end up testing after work! :)

@Lynnysong- that must be really frustrating, hope you’re ok. Here’s hoping he just read it while on a work video call or something and responds soon!

Maybe it's the soy giving me more ewcm, but I'm really worried tomorrow will be too late. I'll find out in the morning, if my temps go up it's game over :(

Hi All, could I join this tread please? Am 43 had mirena removed approx. 10 days ago (already feel better and not so weepy an angry) Already have a 15 & 14 year old from first marriage.

Would love another baby so using no contraception and taking Pregncare daily. Will let nature takes its course.

Feel really tired today but think that is down to constantly researching conception for the over 40's....

Any tips hugely appreciated. How do I find all acronyms that you all use? Feel like a total thicko!

@Lynnysong that is a wild pain in the arse, I hope he replies soon and you can get cracking as you have such a small window and if he offered to be a donor he should know this is the case!

I’ve been out at the beach all day, home and no frer delivery as yet which is a blessing as I’d have taken the test if it was 😳 shocking cramps all day actually thought af had come at one point it was so bad- but nothing. Not due af until Thurs (ish) and I’ll be a right mardy cow if I’ve had cramps and pain right up before af and then a very painful af as well. Shocking stuff!!! But constantly feel like it’s coming 😕 frer delivery states between 7pm-9pm, ill try my best to hold off testing until the morning 🤞

@Loladoodle If you use it and it's a bfn you'll use tbf other one in the morning. That is what I would end up doing. Don't be like me, be strong!

I texted him at noon today, no reply. I'm so gutted. Plus the guy I used to sleep with came round and we got a bit frisky and he couldn't come. How am I supposed to get anywhere with this lot to work with. They're hopeless.

I'm really upset. I bet my temp goes up tomorrow and that's another cycle wasted. :(

@Sleeeeeepy of course I did a frer tonight 😳 and of course it’s a bfn!! 😤 not even a proper evap line came up to give me a sniff of hope 🥺 pretty sure if af is due Thursday a bfp would have came up at least with a faint line. Nothing! Nada! Couldn’t be a more empty looking test! At least it’s made me realise this is likely not happening this month so I can start acceptance mode. Will do the other frer in the morning though just to completely ruin my day 🤪
