Hello everyone,

I am 37 going on 38 in December. TTC baby number 3. Came off the pill on the 1st may (2020). Previously I was on syanna press( depo).
I ovulated yesterday 😊
I only just finished my period on the 9th so didn't expect ovulation just yet. Also I am very new to using ovulation test. This is my second time using it. I am using the easy@home brand.
I have two boys ages 15 and 3years.❤️

I’m cycle day 7- does anyone do/has tried the smep? I’m not sure if it will stress me and oh out more - apparently it’s every other day from cd8 - then 3 days in a row from ovulation day - day off then another day..I was thinking of starting the bd from around cd10/11 every other day? But not mentioning it to oh quite like that - he feels the pressure when he knows it is my ovulation day bless him!!

@Snebblesmamma oooh sun burn, heat and dtd... loving the commitment 👍 I’m at the time of the month where dp breathing even annoys me (Bad pms) ... I couldn’t think of dtd ... conversation feels a chore for me right now 😅 I’m actually a nice person prior to pms week... promise 🙃

@Loladoodle obvs putting it down to preg symptoms 🤣🤣🤣 please..... humour me the early stages of pregnancy is very important, so please get as much rest as possible, having all those symptoms does take its toll on you. 😄🤗 Sending you lots of healing energy 🙏🏽

Af due today, no sign.. feel very much like it's on it's way though. So much so, I have been having gin cocktails sitting in the sun every night. To test or not to test in the AM?? Feel like I already know its BFN.

I’m 35 (hubs is 36), been TTC baby #1 for 14 months with no luck. Visited doc in Jan (just after birthday) and got full bloods done which came back fine including confirmed ovulation. Hubs was due to have semen analysis just as lockdown hit.
Have had 5 cycles of positive ovulation tests (hadn’t bothered before that) but didn’t test this month as I feel like it’s taking over a bit!

AF should be due middle to end of next week, have everything crossed and trying not to symptom spot!

Im just here eating a Magnum after a delicious chicken kebab, cooked by oh! I fancy him so much this month! We've dtd every day since I came off AF on CD5 i think so that's 10 days in a row. If im not bloody pregnant then I give up! 😜😂

Btw CD15 and ive got some strange ass cramps going on girls. Im definitely NOT symptom spotting I promise!

Hi there, can I join you please? I'm 40 (soon to be 41). I have 2 dc who were conceived via ivf although we've never really had any major issues identified. I would really love number 3 but realise with age and my background it's probably never going to happen. We've decided to try for a bit though and currently on cycle 2. I'm due to ovulate in the next few days.

Hi all, 36 and TTC first baby. Live in the US so am dying for some British contacts. On cycle 1 and have learnt more about my body in the past 2 weeks than I ever did at school. When I’ve had the baby (fingers crossed) I’m going to start a revolution of the education system so our daughters learn what goes on in their own bodies. Who’s with me?!

Hi all,
I got my BFP!!! I took three tests, one was really faint so I did another one a couple of days later which was pretty definitive but then got one of the ones that literally spells it out in words and I’m pregnant!!
I’ll be 41 by the time it’s born (🤞) and terrified. I’m so scared that people will think I’m picking up my grandchild by the time we get to school age 😱. But I also have all those years of wisdom (pause for laughter) - ok, experience - so maybe I’ll be a better mum than I would have been in my 20s when (looking back) I didn’t know a thing about life or even who I was.

Another issue we have is that dh has a relatively low sex drive. I've been using clear blue advanced opk and went straight from negative to peak static smiley today with no flashing inbetween which isn't ideal as now we have less days to try but because of his low sex drive I can't really ask him to do it for a week leading up to ov as he just wouldn't be up for it. Does anyone else have this issue? How likely are we to be successful if we only dtd based on opks? Also I hate having to be the one to initiate all the time. What do you say to your dh when it's that time of the month again? I hate that it's so pre planned and I have to mention something but I really don't see any other way. If it were up to me we would dtd for a good week over ov to make sure we cover all bases but as it is we are lucky to do 2-3 times.
