Hello everyone,

I am 37 going on 38 in December. TTC baby number 3. Came off the pill on the 1st may (2020). Previously I was on syanna press( depo).
I ovulated yesterday 😊
I only just finished my period on the 9th so didn't expect ovulation just yet. Also I am very new to using ovulation test. This is my second time using it. I am using the easy@home brand.
I have two boys ages 15 and 3years.❤️

I'd love a little girl :) But a boy would be fun too lol.

I'm on CD1 and af has come with a vengence. Done lots of more research on supplements that might help.

And also looked at some research that found that people that look younger are also biologically younger. And I've always been told I look ten years younger. so that's cheered me up. :)

@Chlo2701 I went and bought some CB OPK today in anticipation of AF arriving today. She hasn't reared her head yet though ( I usually start first thing on the morning of my cycle) but got another BFN on a cheapy test today. I'm going to wait out a few more days (unless AF arrives) and then try a FRER. I thought my cycles had returned to normal after last month, but maybe they're all still messed up.

Can I ask what is likely a very silly question... Is day 1 of my usual pill withdrawal bleed considered CD1? or do I not count until I have a regular AF? Thanks!

I’ve always wanted a daughter, I’m so blessed with my 2 sons of course but I have such an inner desire for a daughter it’s something that’s always been on my mind like I would feel my life is complete with a daughter. But what will be will be. Very blessed to get either.

I'd be so happy with either but absolutely love having a daughter - feel like she's been the making of me, and like the idea of another! She's 2.5 now so hopefully less than 4 year age gap!? Fingers crossed!

@FridaKFangirl Yes that's CD1, it might take a while for your cycles to even out but that's still a period.

I had a very light pink spotting once after a week but nothing since. Just realised I came off the pill just over two weeks ago not one, no idea where my brain is at the moment!

@Lynnysong sorry, I’ve not been active much lately so only just saw your question.

I take the Tesco own brand of soy isoflavones. They are 40mg per tablet. I take 160mg (4 tablets on cd3, cd4 and cd5, then on cd6 and cd7 I up to dose to 200mg (5 tablets). I’m on cd7 now so took my final dose today.

Will see if it brings my ovulation forward again and does any good this time 🤷🏼‍♀️

If nothing happens this cycle I may have a iso free month next time just to see what difference they are making.

@Loladoodle hey lovely, well my cycles were 26ish days for years then I came off the pill Oct 19 and my first few cycles were 23ish days. The second one was only 21 days. I really was stressed but I did some online 'research' and found vitamin b complex is meant to help lengthen LP so I tried it. Started taking it first of Jan and that cycle was 28 days (I was convinced I was pregnant) 😔 but I wasn't so it must have worked. The cycle after that I conceived so again don't know if it was anything to do with the b12.🤷‍♀️ I'm going to start taking it again after next AF as just wanted one natural cycle that's not straight after miscarriage to see where my cycles are naturally at now. If that makes sense? 🤣
I'm trying to be really nice to my OH because I want his sperm 🤣 but he's driving me mad today. 🤣

I have a boy and a girl. My son wants a brother and daughter only 2 would just love a real life doll to play with. Boys and girls are so different but both so lovely in their own way so genuinely wouldn't mind either. Twins would be nice even. 😬🤣

Hey @msanne you ok? Im losing my mind already. The kids and OH are driving me mad. Think I'm hormonal. Trying not to put too much pressure on myself as I remember every time AF arrived from Oct to Jan I was devastated. But it's so hard to not sit and daydream about it happening straight away. 🙏 xxx

I think I’m actually losing the plot. My AF came 3 days early (and I’m now on day 3). Lighter than usual so convinced myself that it could be ‘heavy’ implantation bleeding. I actually went and bought a pregnancy test today. I’ve had to give myself a shake to accept that this is AF! Part of me is tempted to take the test just to prove to myself that I’m not pregnant. Why am I being so ridiculous? 🙈

Thanks @Sleeeeeepy, trying to decide if I should try the Flo app but I feel a bit weird putting that sort of data into an app... probably my natural distrust of the patriarchy... :) Don’t blame you with confusing week, with lockdown all the days blur!

Don't worry @Sunshine1984 this ttc business does funny things to all of us. I was convinced I was pregnant every month apart from the one month I had actually conceived. Its horrible that our bodies really do play tricks on us. X

Just catching up on the thread and similar to @M4v3r1ck, @Lynnysong and @Happyhappy37. The only person I've actually told we're TTC is one close friend who is very much on the same wavelength as me. We've been married just over 5 years but life got in the way for a bit we were genuinely undecided... I suspect most friends have assumed we're going child-free, I'm not about to correct them, I agree it feels quite private.

I think telling people is just putting on unnecessary pressure.

@Sunshine1984 the urge to POAS is why you should stock up on cheapie tests from Amazon, I find the urge irresistible. I'm always convinced I'm pregnant, but DS2 flew under the radar until I was about 7 weeks, I was actually wandering around telling people I felt sick

@FridaKFangirl @M4v3r1ck @Lynnysong @Happyhappy37 We’re the same. We haven’t told anybody. We’re TTC #2 and DD about to turn 2 so constantly asked ‘when’s number 2 coming?’ anyway 🙄
