Hello everyone,

I am 37 going on 38 in December. TTC baby number 3. Came off the pill on the 1st may (2020). Previously I was on syanna press( depo).
I ovulated yesterday 😊
I only just finished my period on the 9th so didn't expect ovulation just yet. Also I am very new to using ovulation test. This is my second time using it. I am using the easy@home brand.
I have two boys ages 15 and 3years.❤️

Please join on this journey with me, so we can cheer each other up, share advice and information etc..

Good luck to all. FlowersSmile

@lydiangel83 I had spotting with both miscarriage and with full term pregnancy so it’s not a reliable sign to either worry or to not. I know that doesn’t help as uncertainty is the worst but I am always honest- it’s just a waiting game for you. If no full flow af and positive pregnancy test then that is a good sign.

Loladoodle · 22/05/2020 16:46

2dpo ... la la la la la... meh

Matilda19 · 22/05/2020 16:52

What a day... 12dpo i think and been feeling sick for days took b and m cheap test and negative.. Gutted i only ever feel like thid when pregnant have 3 kids already.
Af due sunday? Any chance i could still grt bfp!
Only using app info for ovulation day dont actually know. Xx

Loladoodle · 22/05/2020 17:18

Matilda anything is possible! 12dpo would not rule out a positive result- not too long until Sunday for you!

Sleeeeeepy · 22/05/2020 17:52

Hello ladies, could I join please? I'm 37, 38 in August, and I came off the mini pill a week ago to TTC #3. My boys are almost 2 and 3.5, the plan is to try for a few months and if it's not meant to be then stop. I optimistically joined the June bus but finding it a bit hard to relate, they're talking about butt plugs when I'm more interested in earplugs

Happyhappy37 · 22/05/2020 18:10

@Matilda19 awww sorry Hun. You are not out until the fat lady sings.. virtual hug 🤗
Still holding 🤞🏾 fingers crossed for you.

@Sleeeeeepy welcome. 😂😂 butt plugs 😂😂 I am intrigued 🙈
Your situation is similar to mine. 🤞🏾 Crossed for you

Hey ladies,

Hope it's ok for me to join! Been lurking for a couple of days, but was waiting until I got my coil removed today! 😃

I'm 35 (36 in a few months) and this will be our first time TTC! Thanks for sharing your experiences and advice, it's so reassuring knowing that there are other folks out there in a similar situation! 😘😘😘 Especially as I weirdly don't want to talk to my friends/family about this yet... does anyone else feel the same?

Good luck to everyone and 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 for BFPs soon! 😍

Sleeeeeepy · 22/05/2020 19:49

@musiceverywhere Yes!!! Maybe 15 years ago when I was very young and bored DTD every other day would have seemed realistic. At least we have ovulation tests to tell us when it might be worth it and it's not going to be every day even then!

@M4v3r1ck Welcome to the crazy world of TTC!

@M4v3r1ck welcome. Hope all is well with you.
I haven't told anyone, plus u don't have bff but I have two close-ish friends that I converse with few times a week. Never see them though. When I get my BFP I plan I n sharing it when am about 6 months pregnant 🤞🏾. (Telling people too soon makes pregnancy drag, feels like you have been pregnant forever 😂) well I try my best, but I know for sure am not telling anyone any sooner than 4 months 🤐🤐

You lovely ladies will be the first to know 😊

@Happyhappy37 I'd gladly keep it quiet till I'm in labour 😂 but think my work would prob spot the signs fairly quick. Although if/when (god willing) there's a bump, I'm going to blame it on lockdown weight (although I'm now eating healthier than I have been for months!)

Sleeeeeepy · 22/05/2020 20:40

I would so happily not tell anyone if I get pregnant, we haven't told anyone IRL that we're trying. Last time I put on a stone in the first trimester and kept nipping off to be sick, I'm hoping if we're still on lockdown it will be less obvious Smile

Bearhug9 · 22/05/2020 20:46

@Sleeeeeepy that made me laugh!Smile (the earplugs bit ...)

Happyhappy37 · 22/05/2020 20:48

@musiceverywhere and @Sleeeeeepy 😁😁glad am not the only who would Keep it zipped for as long as possible.

Keeping it quiet here also. Not sure if it’s an age thing but just don’t want the pressure this time. Also new younger partner and I know everyone will believe I am done baby making - but i wasn’t done- I was just with the wrong person.

Happyhappy37 · 22/05/2020 21:28

@Loladoodle sweet
but i wasn’t done- I was just with the wrong person I love that statement, so strong, confident and full of positive energy 😊😊
Aahhh you just put a big smile on my face

Good luck everyone xx

Matilda19 · 22/05/2020 21:42

Also can i ask. What ovulation strips tests would you reccommend. Just trting to plan ahead if my af appears sunday then wanna try something new this month.

Thsnks

Lynnysong · 22/05/2020 21:51

I've told a couple of friends that I was upset that I didn't have a kid. But I've only told my best friend and my mum that I'm going to try properly.

I've just discovered that those soy isoflavones are supposed to act like clomide and help release an egg too. That might be helpful. I think I get cycles without an egg, especially if I feel really ill or stressed.

Happyhappy37 · 22/05/2020 22:09

@Matilda19 I use the easy@home. Ordered it from Amazon.
Also, what other symptoms have you had?

@Lynnysong that's good. Sometimes the less people know the better for us. Sometimes it just too much pressure.
From the sound of it you've put a lot of effort into preparing your body as best as possible. I want so much for you to get your heart desire 🤰
🤞🏾

My whole body is aching, my ankles and knees are sore. It's like I've been running a marathon. I fell asleep earlier and my knees were aching so bad it woke me up.
