Testing around 11th June

Hi all,

Following on from the previous thread of ‘testing around 13th May’. So many people messaged to say they found the group useful so I thought I’d recreate one.

Everyone is welcome and look forward to hearing everyone’s stories.

@Sussexbysea yeah I've heard some people spot when they ovulate!

Am I the only one that never gets Egg white CM! 😭Argh! Stressful!!

@33Carr no way that's same date as us 😂😂 now we just need to get pregnant at the same time too please. 🙏 Trying to put all thoughts of not fitting in to my dress/ taking a newborn abroad or even worse than that still having no baby out of my head. 😜😔🤣

@MrsTtobe yay wedding buddies!!! Have you got your dress yet? Was hoping to be able to try and find one last/this month before I get(if ever) a bump but with lockdown all the appointments got cancelled! Worried also about not being able to lose baby weight by wedding day haha and all sorts of baby related stuff, which is a bit silly because baby isn't even cooking yet hahah

@TTCgee It’s ever so slightly pink but it happens more often than not.

@Sussexbysea have you been dtd? I often get pink tinged cm eh when we've done in the night before?

@33Carr nope no dress yet! Same here, was waiting to see what the deal was. I conceived in early Feb so was perfect. Baby was due Halloween. Baby was going to be 10 months old by the time we got married and I would have had plenty of time to fit in my dress/ get a dress etc but then I had a miscarriage at Easter so that plan is out of the window. 🙄
Life has definitely taught me not to plan too far ahead and enjoy each day for what it is and to be ok with plans changing. X

@MrsTtobe that sounds horrible, miscarriages are awful. It’s haunted me for months now.

@MrsTtobe Our stories are so similar, my MMC was due middle of October. Felt like everything was fitting into place nicely! Oh well, just wasn't meant to be! Fingers crossed for us all this month!

@Sussexbysea I honestly think im ok and that ive accepted it and moved on and then out of nowhere I will have a really bad day where it's all I can think about and I'm so negative and think it will just happen again! 😔

@33Carr yes we do have very similar stories. Let's hope we both have beautiful babies there on our wedding days. ❤ Would be amazing wouldn't it. X

People keep mentioning evening primrose oil. What are you DOING with the evening primrose oil??? I HOPE YOU ARE NOT EATING IT!!!

@Dr273 I've got the capsules from Holland & Barratt and take 2 x a day up until ovulation! It's supposed to help xxx

I think I'm ovulating today so getting preeseed ready to jump on OH! Haha... Eeek nervous already about the TWW but going to try and stay calmer this time 😂 where is everyone else up to? Xx

@TTCgee I should be ovulating in a few days time, but have been feeling quite confused about EECM (had it for one day a couple of days ago) and no positive OPK yet. Testing twice a day now. Sure you know this already, but the best days to DTD are the two days before ovulation, but of course ovulation day too is probably a good bet just to be on the safe side 👍🏼

Ovulation day for me yesterday, I’ll be getting the other half into bed once the little one is asleep.

Thanks @MintGreenLife 🥰 we've been following the SMEP this month so have been doing it every other day since CD8 and then it said to do it 3 days in a row from the LH surge! So trying that out this month to see if it makes any odds!

That's strange about the EWCM although I think you can have it for about 5 days in total so maybe you haven't surged yet / haven't noticed it as much the last few days? I never get it you see so I'm not that sure! I just get watery xxx

@Sussexbysea we must be on similar cycles. When would your next AF be due? Mines 9th June xx

@TTCgee we are trying a similar approach too, but this whole EWCM thing has thrown me off and I'm not sure what I'm doing now 🙈 Just holding out for the LH surge and will get on to DTD everyday for a few days like you.

This is my LH chart. Has gone up a bit today so am praying that means surge is on the way. Going to test again tonight and twice for the next few days.

EWCM honestly only came for a day. Probs TMI but it was on the tissue after peeing, and then hasn't been since. I've checked inside too and no sign of it now. So confusing!

I'm not sure when I ovulated, was expecting it tomorrow but my OPKs have started going back down and CM has changed back to dry.
Could have been yesterday or day before and I missed the peak so perhaps 1dpo but unsure now 😂🤦‍♀️

@lucymagoo I feel your pain, I have no idea what's going on with me and it's starting to get me down 🙄 I got EWCM a couple of days ago but no peak on OPKs yet, in fact I've got nothing but 'low' results on my Premom app. Decided to start tracking my temp from tomorrow also to see if that can provide me with some clarity

@Sussexbysea hopefully we can share some of the crazy over the next two weeks! Haha...

I think sometimes we can drive ourselves mad looking for signs of ovulation and if I'm right your surge can sometimes only last a few hours so it might be that it happened and all is good but it just didn't register? If you've been trying to DTD every few days hopefully you've still caught it xxx

@TTCgee this month we’ve taken it so much easier. I’ve got a hospital appointment next month to talk about my thyroid. It’s easier to treat when I’m not pregnant so we aren’t too worried about DTD most days.

@TTCgee @MintGreenLife yeah very true as long as you're DTD it doesn't matter too much. I usually get very clear EWCM so a little concerned to have missed it this cycle. Just going to stay positive and not get too in my head for the next two weeks. I don't know if BBT tracking is helpful partway through a cycle I feel like you need to have started before ovulation to find your baseline but also I've never done it so not 100%
