Testing around 11th June

Hi all,

Following on from the previous thread of ‘testing around 13th May’. So many people messaged to say they found the group useful so I thought I’d recreate one.

Everyone is welcome and look forward to hearing everyone’s stories.

OPKs are looking good all! Mine are on the rise, I'm due to ovulate Tuesday so it all looks like it's on time for me, same with CM changes. Feeling very posi this month!

Taken another test today at 4pm. Defiantly my peak I have never seen such a strong opk.

Hi everyone, how you all doing? So, I’m in my fertile window and each morning before our 3 year old is awake... we’re at it. No ovulation tests, no symptom spotting this month. Just taking it day just day. I know the end result already as it’s been this way for two years but hey ho, lets give it a go

@Sussexbysea this sounds like a good plan if this will make the whole month more enjoyable, I read your message as you're 'up before 3 every morning' and thought bloody hell thats dedication. I'm all good... CD7 and starting SMEP today 😊

@33Carr ahh glad it's gone now! Yeah getting on okay!! I'm in fertile week atm so just focusing on DTD and trying to relax and enjoy it too!

Having a few glasses of wine tonight as I promised myself I was gonna chill out before ovulation then once I see the peak I'll stop drinking til AF just Incase! Right now I feel great - it will be the day after ovulation I go crazy 😂😂 xx

@TTCgee Sounds like you're doing Friday nights correctly!! Also having a couple of G&Ts tonight as it's been such a busy day, also working Saturday night and Monday so using that as an excuse!! Isn't it mad the transition between being calm/chilled/sexy in FW week and then it all changes during the TWW!

Just thought I’d update you all! Took a test today, negative as I thought. But not sure whether it’s too early to tell! I’ve worked my periods out and I should be due on bang on the 5th of June (this is first time trying so still getting to grips with working timings out!) I definitely do feel ‘off’ but could all be in my head! But thought I’d give an update as promised @SmileyT I would

Hey @Freddie15VES sorry about the negative test but like you say definitely too early. How are you working out your dates? If you're 8 days post ovulation your period should be due latest end of next week but if you test around the 5th June you should get a nice clear line. 8dpo definitely isn't too early to get symptoms either 🤞

@Freddie15ves how long is your cycle. If you are testing now then you must be due at the end of next week?
I know it's hard when you don't know exactly when you ovulated. My first month I thought I was done and ovulation was actually 5 days later so missed it.

@SmileyT I thought it was too early, I wanted a glass of wine or 2 this weekend as we’re doing a virtual murder mystery with friends..which is probably why I panic bought a test but either way I’m not going to be drinking! So I’ve just been using the clear blue website I think it is, it said ovulation would be between 15-22nd I believe So we’ve been trying from the 15th! Can you ‘feel’ pregnant but still get a negative?!

@Freddie15VES oh okay that makes sense, you could be actually having ovulation symptoms if you ovulated last couple days 🤔 do you have regular periods? It is hard if you don't have regular cycles as the estimates are so vague... but if you do have regular cycles then you'll have a good idea when period is due and just test a few days after that. If you have irregular periods than maybe just test every 3/4 days until you get your period. Good luck xx

Anyone who tracks BBT ... I've woken up with a slightly sore head today ... and also a big increase in temp! I'm thinking it's probs down to the drink rather than rise for ovulation as that's not for another 3 days and still getting negative OPK tests this morning. Would you still record it or will is mess up the app?

Morning CD 9 here... I don't track but fairly sure I ovulate early and usually have short ish cycles. My daughter was definitely conceived on CD9 as was the only day we did it.🤣 That was 3 yes ago though.

So we're busy dtd too @Sussexbysea im exhausted. We even did it twice yesterday. Felt 19 again. 🤣🤣

How you all feeling today? Where is everyone in their CD? Im lost. 🙄🙈 x

all my apps have confirmed via the opk tests that ovulation was yesterday so we dtd last night which made it 3 days in a row leading up to ovulation. Think we are both knackered now. Bring on the TWW

@MrsTtobe CD10 and after me saying yesterday that I won’t be testing, I’m going to take a OPK. 🙈

@SmileyT yeah regular, always the same time every month give or take a day or 2. I guess I need to just wait which is hard! I’m still getting to grips with understanding everything. Feel awfully sick today and really really hot with a headache. So somethings definitely going on with my body! Me and the OH will just keep at it and wait and see! Haha

I’ve been for a wee and wiped and lots of EW mucas but it has a slight pink/ blood colour to it. It’s not the first time I’ve had this, I’d say more often than not I hVe this.

Has anyone else had this before?

@Sussexbysea I've not personally had it before but I know some ladies can have very light spotting when they ovulate?

@33Carr we're almost cycle buddies then 🤣 I'm on CD9. How long are your cycles usually?
My name 😂 yes due to get married in Aug next year in Cyprus. Everything booked so hoping everything is back to normal by then. If we don't conceive by Aug then will put baby making on hold for a few months. 😔🙏

@Sussexbysea lol I can't keep any kind of test in the house because I would be the same and become addicted. I don't have the willpower. 😂
Ive had that before but only after dtd the night before! Could it be your OH was a bit rough? 🙈😂

@MrsTtobe cycles are normally around 26-28 days. AF is due around the 9th if we don't conceive. Ahh lovely!! Always wanted to go to Cyprus! I'm getting married August BH next year too so likewise on a bit of a countdown but trying to forget about that!!
