Testing around 11th June

Following on from the previous thread of ‘testing around 13th May’. So many people messaged to say they found the group useful so I thought I’d recreate one.

Everyone is welcome and look forward to hearing everyone’s stories.

@TTCgee Bet you glad you didn't wait out another day! Ahhhh I literally did a little 'get in 💪🏼' in the car when I saw your result!

Put me in a right good mood for the day and it ain't event my test 😂😂 how are you going to spend you day then? How did OH react?

@33Carr ahhh that's so lovely of you!! Thanks so much! Omg honestly I was 100% convinced I was just wasting a test then saw the line and nearly fainted! I just burst out crying and my OH was welling up! We both just hugged for ages and kept re reading the test packet to make sure we'd read it right 😂😂 xxx

I'm so silly, but I caved and did a test this morn - wasn't with FMU as I got up around 5am and went for a wee and then decided I wanted to test so managed to hold on until 9am. I'm 10DPO and of course it was a BFN. I managed to convince myself last night I was pregnant and went to sleep feeling very anxious so thought it might be better to just get a test out the way rather than torturing myself between now and Thursday. I get that 10DPO is early, but don't want to give myself too much hope that that's why I got a BFN. May test again when AF is due on Saturday if she hasn't shown up, or leave it a couple of extra days x

I just couldn't wait until the TestFest either and tested with a cheapie. The line is faint but it's there!

@TTCgee awww that’s so so lovely. I know it’s so hard to relax, especially when your body keeps giving you constant reminders! Trying to distract myself with lots of nice things like cake and Netflix. Basically trying to not give my brain a moment to ruminate!

Ahh sorry @MintGreenLife but like you say 10DPO is still really early!! I'd wait until AF due and test again that day maybe? 🤞🤞💕💕

@TTCgee yeah i'll do that I think, or maybe even leave it another day or two to see if AF arrives :) I didn't expect much with it being our first cycle anyway so all good, just feel silly for convincing myself last night I would get a positive.

Did you do your test with OH this morn? Bet you're both elated!! xxx

@MintGreenLife I was getting negatives until 11/12 DPO, and even now I'm only getting very very faint lines. Do t get discouraged, it's too early!

Thanks :) I may leave it until AF is due Saturday now. Don't want to get my hopes up, but at least I will be a bit less disappointed if AF does show up xx

@memily I know I'm responding late but I'd stick with the 28 day cycle. The app is only predicting whatever it's predicting because it assumes a 14 day LP whereas it sounds like yours is a bit shorter than that. It will adjust its predictions going forward if AF arrives :)

@MintGreenLife I did exactly the same today. I've been taking out the bin when I go tot the loo just in case I missed something! Nothing there though. I'll try again in a few days I think. Have to resist the urge! 🙈 fingers are crossed for you 🤞🏻

It's so easily done isn't it @mm26! How many DPO are you? AF is due Saturday for me so I think I will try and wait until then to test again if she doesn't show up by then x

@MintGreenLife I'm about 8/9DPO (I think, really not 100% sure) with AF due either Sunday or Tuesday, depending on what app I'm listening to! I was going off the earlier AF date in my hopeful testing attempt today.
How many DPO are you? I should wait till then too I think, but it's sooooo far away! 🙈 I'll be lucky if I make it to Thurs!
