Following on from the previous thread of ‘testing around 13th May’. So many people messaged to say they found the group useful so I thought I’d recreate one.

Everyone is welcome and look forward to hearing everyone’s stories.

Hi @LottieX we love an 11th June tester! Come right in! I'm 11dpo today and have my usual pms symptoms so I'm cramping already, headache and generally going crazy lol! If it wasn't for ttc I'd be on the pill as I always suffered with pms. Seems worse now I'm older. How long you been ttc for and is this for your first?

@notyetamumbuttrying I'm testing on Wednesday (10th) as long as AF doesn't arrive tomorrow 😬

@notyetamumbuttrying I fell pregnant in Jan but ended up in a MMC in March, so I think I'll be just as excited but maybe a little dubious until I get a first scan. Decided I'm not going to tell anyone IRL apart from OH and maybe one of my best friends. Our families don't live close by so should be able to hide it from them for a while! This is if I even get a +ve haha!

@33Carr I think I've now convinced myself to test tomorrow!! I just need to know 🙈🙈🙈

Although I do have some slight cramps now so maybe it's AF and I should just wait! Argh! Why is it so hard 🙈🙈

Literally today I've had this huge list of symptoms that I'm probably just making up; fever, backache, fatigue, cramps... I'll probably get more tonight but I'm logging them all in Femometer so if I get them again next month I know what I had!

@notyetamumbuttrying TTC #1 and started jn Dec but since tracking Ov I think this is the first proper month I've got such a big peak on OPKs, fingers crossed.

Anyone have any tips on resisting the POAS urge?

@notyetamumbuttrying Well to tell you the truth, I though I wasn't ovulating as I had my implant removed at the beginning of Dec and didn't have a withdrawal bleed. I was tracking everything till the middle of Jan and then just gave up and said I was off to the DRs for tests at the end of Feb. I must have conceived the week after haha! I didn't know until around 4/5 weeks in, I was running down the stairs at work and my boobs hurt hah! I ran down the stairs again today and stoped half way... I think I felt them!!! So I did more errands up and down the stairs hah! Still don't know if it real pain or me just imagining it!

@TTCgee I'm at that stage, I know AF still might arrive before I get to test on Wednesday morning but I will have managed the WHOLE tww.. I've never done that before 🤗🤗 Whennis AF due for you again?

@LottieX to resist I just tell myself that it's like a second blow when you see the bfn and convince yourself the bfp can still come but then af does instead. I wait until day before now, less time to wait for it then.

@33Carr oh I hadn't realised you've had a miscarriage 😖😖 sorry you've been through that.

I'm due Wednesday but I really think I can't go through a whole other day of waiting to know... I usually do wait so I might just go for it this time... Unless my temp dips down then I'll just wait!

Is it ever normal to get cramps even when you're preggo? Cos I'm definitely getting cramps atm xx

@TTCgee Thank you 😘 Turns our my mum lost her first, as did my MIL and my GIL so gonna day it's a family thing and hopefully this time round will be okay...?!

Have you got anything planned for tomorrow to keep yourself distracted? If not and it's just gonna be playing on your mind you might as well test and then it's done then, don't have to deal with the extra build up.

In the preggo FB group I was in after a MN thread, a few of the ladies on there said they were having light cramps, and they're considered normal. They only worry if your cramps are a lot stronger than usual.

I say this time round... I mean next time. I'm so bad at getting ahead of myself 🤦🏽‍♀️ setting myself up for bloody disappointment at this rate!

@33Carr ahhh that is reassuring for you that your family have all been through it and hopefully they can give you encouragement! I'm sure next time it will stick and be perfect 🥰

I get scared sometimes that I'm not even going to be able to! I think cos I have nothing on tomorrow I just need to get it out of the way and no one way or the other...

Oh really? That's good to know! I mean I'm 90% sure they're AF cramps but I'm just trying to claw to some hope at this point I think! Xx

Jumping on this thread. I'm due af tomorrow, going to try and hold off testing until Wednesday as long as af doesn't show tomorrow.
Cycle god knows now, TTC number 2. I've been feeling so positive this month and now im having major doubts. Baby luck to you all ☺️

Ttc is the worst thing I've gone through in a while @TTCgee I never knew what a headfuck it would be!
I feel like that's what I do too @33Carr but it's good to think positively. See it as a positive affirmation rather than setting yourself up for failure.

Guys I'm shaking and crying! Hahaha this does not feel real! WHAAAT! I feel like I'm not going to believe it until I have a baby in my arms...

Okay so as this is the first thing I always want to ask other people this is what we did differently this month - no idea if any of this actually helped but you never know and might be worth trying?

Folic acid every day

Evening primrose oil up to ovulation

Pineapple core from ovulation for 5 days

3x Brazil Nuts every day from ovulation (I'm still taking these)

We also tried preeseed for the 3 times around my positive LH surge...

Symptoms:

Literally the exact same as every other month - honestly. This is probs one of the times I've least felt pregnant? I did have a tiny twinge or soreness to my nipples but that's happened before... hardly any discharge , cramping like before AF...

I said I would post my progression on ICs and one step from 11/12dpo so here they are. As I said one step are rubbish. Here’s also my bfp from yesterday morning. The strongest line I’ve had. Can’t even cope with thinking about it too much after two consecutive losses previously. I don’t have any kids so this is my first. Up at 5:00am with nausea and anxiety this morning.
