Testing around 11th June

Hi all,

Following on from the previous thread of ‘testing around 13th May’. So many people messaged to say they found the group useful so I thought I’d recreate one.

Everyone is welcome and look forward to hearing everyone’s stories.

Hi ladies I was originally on the march bus. Done a test this morning and see a faint line. Not due until the 11th so hoping it sticks and is real. Can't quite believe my eyes

How exciting @Mockingbird0805! Hope it sticks!! I'm gonna wait it out until the 11th, too scared to test too early. Hate the disappointment as it's always been bfn in my 9 months of trying.

@Notyetamumbuttrying its been 18 months now for us. Don't want to get too excited yet. Going to test again tomorrow and if its still there make an appointment with the doc to confirm. I only tested cos I've been feeling sick all week and the OH suggested it

@notyetamumbuttrying thanks! It is because I’m too new. Even though I’ve been reading the boards for months I only actually signed up yesterday.

I think I’m due tomorrow based on ovulation. But not actually had a ‘normal cycle’ since miscarriage number 2.

Well done on holding off testing. I can’t decide what’s worse for my anxiety, testing or not testing. Seems pretty bad either way!

Haha yeah I know what you mean @Muriel84! I've said I won't test until 14dpo but who knows if I'll crack and do it 12dpo?! Anyone's guess lol! Hope your line progression continues to improve 🤞

@Notyetamumbuttrying me too feel like I've waited forever. Just caved and done another test and there's a definite line. So happy I could cry. Good luck to you as well I hope this is the month for all of us xx

Aww so many congratulations @Mockingbird0805!! Please keep us updated with things. Will let you know how Friday goes for me but I do feel very pms. Spots are appearing, my obsessive thoughts are starting and uterus pains...

Hi @Muriel84 I think I'm about 13 dpo but not entirely sure because my OPKs were a bit dodgy!
I got the same very faint line today, maybe a little bit darker than yesterday.....but bit worrying since I'm due on today would be expecting darker. But reassuring myself with when I was having my son I didn't get positives at all until I was 2 days late, and with my miscarriage i got results really early. So hoping this will help me if I actually am. I've tried to get a blood test in my doctors to make sure it's not leftover HCG but they dont want anyone going in unless it's an emergency. Advised to take another test in 7 days....dont think I will be able to wait that long!

Really struggling today! Was doing the food shop today and picked up a CB twice and even contemplated going back a third time 😭

Think because I'm home with not a lot to do, I have no distractions! #3moredaystogo

@Notyetamumbuttrying thank you so much. I'll be honest other than nausea I've been cramping which is why I'm hoping it sticks tbh. First time for me and OH. I hope you get your BFP soon. I'll let you know how it goes. If I am though this should be nice I will get to eat as much as I want over Xmas

Well done for resisting @33Carr! I'm due on, on Friday so will prob test Thursday tbh. Are you waiting for Af to show/not show before testing?

@notyetamumbuttrying AF is due Tuesday and I'll be testing Wednesday morning. So not really giving AF much chance but don't think I can wait much longer after Wednesday haha! TBH I think AF will arrive, don't feel any different to usual and been getting my usual pre-AF carb cravings! I see your testing Friday?

I feel like that too @33Carr re carb cravings! Think I'll test a day early unless I can resist the urge! Hope af doesn't show for you!!

@33Carr I went into the bathroom this morn and got a test out and read the insurrections before I went for a wee, after extreme temptation I put it back in the box and said goodbye to my FMU 😂 I'm only 8DPO but I'm convinced I might be more like 9-11DPO. I'm going to try my best to told out until the 11th. So exciting lots of us are starting to test now/in the next few days. Well done for resisting the CB. I have a stock of four tests in my bathroom and have managed to resist so far...but only just 🙈

@Mockingbird0805 aw that’s so lovely, such a wonderful feeling. Congrats! 😊I also have some on off cramps. I don’t get period pain usually. Also had a weird heart burn sensation for over a week. Had that with my miscarriages too.

@fashu is it a cheapy you’re using? Have you kept yesterday’s test to compare? So difficult at the moment with everything still being locked down. A week is a very long time. Hcg doubles every 48hours though so you might find tomorrow’s looks darker than yesterday’s.

@notyetamumbuttrying thank you me too! I’ve not told my OH. Waiting for tomorrow when I will be 4 weeks I think. I don’t know when I became so superstitious 🙈

@33Carr 😂😂 I held the test in my hand this morn for a good 60 seconds before I put it back in the box. That's the closest I've come so far.

I feel a bit weird to be honest. On the one hand I'm not hopeful as it's my first cycle and my BBT chart and LH surges (I had two five days apart 🤷🏻‍♀️) are all over the place. But then on the other hand I had two days with twinges in my middle, and now on/off nausea and lower back ache. Also when I had the twinges I had quite a big dip in my BBT for three days, although from what I've read online implantation dip is 1-2 days. I think I should wait until AF is due, but l May cave around 12DPO. How are you feeling? X

You never know, it could happen from one cycle! It only takes one time after all!

I'm ok, would like to feel super positive as I think we DTD on all the right days however I'm having no twinges or anything. I'm not feeling any different but we'll see. Trying to not to think about it too much cause I'll get down in the dumps!

@notyetamumbuttrying awwww! I wish I felt that excited. I’m just feeling very apprehensive. I might do a proper test tomorrow and show him that 😊

Hey! Hope everyone is doing good! I was planning on having a break from mums net... lasted Friday to Sunday 😂🙈 I just need my TTC chat fix.

How's everyone feeling/ what day is AF due for people? Mines due Wednesday but already feel like I've got the pissing AF cramps! Fml xxx

Glad to see you back @TTCgee !! I'd still consider that a break! Are you going to hold out testing untill Wednesday? I feel unremarkably normal 😭 Will be dissapointed if AF arrives as felt like we followed the SMEP well but oh well! Do you normal get symptoms of AF before it arrives?
