Hi all,

Following on from the previous thread of ‘testing around 13th May’. So many people messaged to say they found the group useful so I thought I’d recreate one.

Everyone is welcome and look forward to hearing everyone’s stories.

@TTCgee - honestly, no idea how to differentiate the two! It seems too much for implantation and too brown

TTCgee · 02/06/2020 16:49

So just had a quick look and it says it usually lasts 1-2 days and is brown blood? Hopefully that's what it is! Xxx

Hope everyone is doing well.. sorry that it looks like AF is arriving @TheDaydreamBelievers and yeah ive heard really bad reviews on the one step @kirinm I'm such a pessimist anyway if I saw a vvfl I'd just mark it as negative, my OH is the opposite and would be out buying a pram 😂

3dpo and suddenly the progesterone has hit me, feel knackered and hungry... the stuff us women go through 😩

notyetamumbuttrying · 02/06/2020 17:37

I feel the same way @SmileyT! 5dpo for me and all that was hitting me yesterday as well as some white cm! Sucks to be female right 🤷🏾‍♀️

MintGreenLife · 02/06/2020 17:43

@TTCgee I am feeling excited you're right ☺️ I've had days where I've definitely been more anxious/stressed than excited, but I feel quite relaxed about it all now. I think because I only came off the pill a couple of months ago I accepted pretty early on that it might take me a while to start ovulating or get into a good routine with my cycles, so I'm not stressing too much about whether we caught or not this month. Must try and remember my own words when I'm panicking doing my first test 🙈

MintGreenLife · 02/06/2020 17:47

@SmileyT I was saying to @TTCgee about me being tired and hungry and thinking 'hmmm is it a sign' 🙈😂

As you know I'm also 3DPO. I got so hungry earlier when making a salad for lunch I swear I almost lost it. The 5 mins it took to make felt so much longer, and then I speed ate two peaches and loads of pineapple straight after. Never realised you could have a bigger appetite in the second phase of your cycle!

SmileyT · 02/06/2020 18:10

@MintGreenLife I actually read something about not starting a diet after ovulation as adherence is so lacking, also the progesterone increases metabolism so you burn more calories so it's fine to eat a bit more 😋 xx

MintGreenLife · 02/06/2020 18:13

Haha that's great news then @SmileyT, I seem to be super hungry today so won't feel too bad if I give in!

SmileyT · 02/06/2020 18:23

@MintGreenLife I just had a sharer bag of crisps for dinner, I'm blaming the hormones 🙊

MintGreenLife · 02/06/2020 18:27

@SmileyT sounds like an awesome dinner to me 😀 I have a rare afternoon with the house to myself tomorrow (since the lockdown began) so I'm totally planning on having a 'snack' day and having snacks for lunch and dinner 😂 Would never usually do that as feel like we should have proper meals with it's both of us eating, is it strange that I'm really looking forward to it 🤣

SmileyT · 02/06/2020 19:46

@MintGreenLife my OH works 12hr shifts and so every other week he'll have a few 7pm until 7am shifts, annoying for baby making when I normally work 9-5 but I do love a nice sofa evening watching garbage and just thinking about myself and makes me miss him which is nice x

TTCgee · 02/06/2020 19:46

@MintGreenLife nooo not at all! My husband literally eats like a horse and we always have to have big proper 'man meals' so if he's out I make the most random teas like a bag of crisps and hummus haha! But I love snacky teas! Haha and yep I'm the same. Can dish out the advice but can't follow my own - I do weirdly feel okay tho at this point the other months I've defo been much more of a symptom spotter!

@SmileyT I alwaaays feel starving so I'm not sure I can blame the progesterone unfortunately 🤣🤣however I'm more than happy about the higher metabolism to justify me stuffing my face 😂😂

lucymagoo · 02/06/2020 19:50

@TTCgee crisps and houmous is my go-to when my husband is away too 😂 or nachos or anything chips and dips really

MintGreenLife · 02/06/2020 19:56

@TTCgee @SmileyT @lucymagoo glad it's not just me then 😂 Oh gosh my OH is the exact same, he has such a huge appetite. I'm a big fan of cereal for dinner or porridge 😀 I've rarely done that though since I last lived alone 4 years ago as even if I have the evening to myself he will more often than not want dinner when he gets in, so it's easier to just cook something up for both of us. So looking forward to my snack meals tomorrow now 😂

MrsSam88 · 02/06/2020 20:40

Hi everyone!
I’m 6dpo today. Yesterday I had what felt like period pain most of the afternoon, but milder? Could that be inplantation 5dpo would be too early wouldn’t it?! No symptoms today though! My 2dc due dates were both brought forward 6 days at first scan so I’m thinking perhaps I implant early? Confused maybe I’m just hoping. 2ww is awful especially with being stuck indoors still Sad

MrsSam88 · 02/06/2020 20:41

*Implantation! Sorry!

TTCgee · 02/06/2020 21:00

@MrsSam88 I think some people do implant as early as 6 days so it could possibly be? I hope it is for you. 🙏🏼🙏🏼

@lucymagoo yesss me too it's the best!@MintGreenLife now you're talking - chocolate shreddies and milk is the best treat tea 😂😂

MintGreenLife · 02/06/2020 21:04

@TTCgee porridge with Nutella is honestly the one, so so good!

@MrsTtobe think TTCgee is right, from what I understand implantation can happy as early as 6days, so could be possible at 5DPO surely, especially if like you say you may implant early ☺️

WishingWell20 · 02/06/2020 21:49

@MrsSam88 I’m 7 DPO and had cramps all day Sunday, the 2ww needs to hurry up!😐
Good luck to you!🤞

MrsSam88 · 02/06/2020 22:02

Thank you all! Well we’ll soon see I guess! Awful this ttc stuff sending me a bit nuts I think Grin Good luck to all of you hope to see some BFP pics soon Smile

TheDaydreamBelievers · 02/06/2020 23:10

I think it's probably AF @TTCgee, especially as this is only 6 DPO! But I'll keep you posted

notyetamumbuttrying · 02/06/2020 23:18

I agree about it driving you nuts @MrsSam88 !! I feel like a crazy woman in my fw, tww and on my period so I don't get much rest bite 😂
Are you getting cramps too @TheDaydreamBelievers? I am and I'm only 5dpo today, been getting them since yesterday. They've started earlier than usual but I won't read into that as every other symptom I get ends in AF so I'm sure this will too 😆

TheDaydreamBelievers · 02/06/2020 23:21

Nope @notyetamumbuttrying, shooting pains and sore nips yesterday though! I think the issue is that symptoms of AF and early pregnancy overlap a whole lot. This is cycle 1 for us so we are really not expecting to conceive!

Sachertorten · 03/06/2020 00:23

Hello! Are most people here based in the UK? I was on the 'what to expect' forum and found it frustrating that everyone was talking about American supplements I couldn't t find :( wondering if I am on the right place now?

Freddie15VES · 03/06/2020 06:13

Hi ladies, here I am again upset and confused. I took another test yesterday morning just to hopefully see a dark line. And it’s now negative, so I took another one this morning and again it’s negative. Looks like maybe it was a fluke for me. Any advice is much appreciated but I’m not feeling good about this xxx
