Following on from the previous thread of ‘testing around 13th May’. So many people messaged to say they found the group useful so I thought I’d recreate one.

Everyone is welcome and look forward to hearing everyone’s stories.

How long away is his birthday?? Do you think you'll be able to hide it in terms of your behaviour? If it were me I think he would be able to tell something was up 😂 But that doesn't mean you shouldn't try if that's how you want to tell him x

I don’t think so because I am falling asleep everywhere and feel really sick. His birthdays on the 15th June! I think I might nip a shop really quickly and buy an early Father’s Day card and a newborn baby grow and tell him today. I can’t wait!! Mines the same haha I just tried to tag and it didn’t work

Ohhh that would be really sweet. That's just as nice a way to do it and saves you driving yourself crazy over the next two weeks. I'm not testing until the 13th and that seems ages away, so think you'll struggle with waiting until the 15th 😂 Let me know how it goes. So excited for you!

@mintgreenlife I'm 2DPO today so still got a while to go yet! Yeah I got some mild cramping around ovulation time, I was really nauseous too but don't know if that was related or not. Also had some lower back pain when sitting down but again that might have been due to my posture! How's today been? Enjoying the sunshine I hope!

@Freddie15VES Ahhh amazing!!! I'm so happy for you!! I think the baby grow and a Father's Day card is a lovely idea!! And easier than keeping it from him haha! Happy celebrations!

@33Carr I'm 2dpo as well so we can keep each other sane!! I had cramping and a bit of nausea too. Have been loving the sunshine today! Saw my family for the first time since feb so I shed a little tear! How's your day been?

@33Carr if it's any consolation I've got even longer to go now 😂 Today's been good thanks - it was meant to be OH's stag do, so we had a BBQ just the two of us and he's been enjoying a few beers. Not the same, but best we could do for the cancelled day really, and at least the weather has been amazing. How's your day been?

@notyetamumbuttrying YAY! I love having someone else at the same stage as me, keeps me more accountable and stops me getting ahead of myself haha! Sounds like you e had a lovely day! I've been on call and got called in at 12:30 and only just got home so not enjoyed the sunshine that much but going to have alfresco dining then watch another bond film haha! Going to go out for a long walk tomorrow to keep myself busy! I'm really bad when I'm at home cause the whole TTC kinda consumes me, where as if I'm out and about or busy at work I can forget about it for a while! How are you feeling about the TWW?

@MintGreenLife A BBQ in this sunshine sounds great!! I was just telling notyetamumbuttrying below that I've been working but hoping to enjoy the sunshine tomorrow instead! Had your OH been able to rearrange his stag do? What about your hen do, was that all planned out?

Exactly the same @33Carr I need to keep busy! Today was easy but now I'm bk home again and my friends baby announcement is now the talk of my WhatsApp I'm feeling pretty shit! I just can't bear reading it all when I have no idea whether I can or not. We're cycle 9, month 9 in June as I have short cycles and I just feel really deflated! How long u been trying?

@notyetamumbuttrying I totally understand where you are coming from. My best friend is also pregnant, I've known for 7 weeks now but she's just hit the 13 weeks mark and has now announced it. Our close group of friends were meeting in the park for a picnic (we all work together everyday anyway and it was going to be distanced..) today and I'm kinda glad I got called into work cause I don't know how I would have found it with them all talking baby stuff. We've been trying since December and I fell pregnant in January but ended up in a MMC in March so as much as I'm SO HAPPY for my bf, I still get that pang of envy and I hate feeling like that! Hopefully this will be our month 🤗🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

@33Carr we're not sure when the wedding will be able to go ahead now, so aren't making any plans for stag dos etc. My hen isn't until a week before the wedding (first weekend in September) so nothing has been changed with that yet, although we are fairly certain both the hen and wedding won't be able to go ahead. We're hoping to do it all at the same time next year, depending on when we TTC. Sorry to hear you've been working today, but think it's meant to be nice tomorrow too ☺️

@33Carr I know exactly how you feel although I've not been pregnant before so not experienced a MC (really sorry to hear this). This friend is from my uni group and my other mate from my group of friends from school is due the same time as her. My sister is due in August, my cousin just gave birth last week and I have about 3/4 more friends of mine and dh's who are all due between July and December. I feel so on edge...

Hi! Can I join please! I've just started TTC DC3, the first with my DH. My youngest DC is 8 (from previous awful relationship) I had my 1st at 20 and were concieved very easily, Ii'm 32 next week! i'm really worried it won't happen. I'm literally giving myself anxiety :(
Anyway my period is due on around the 10/11th.

How nice has the sunshine been - it's been great to be able to take my mind off thinking about it!

The sunshine has been glorious! I didn't think about c-virus once but I did have babies on my mind due to my friends phone call before we left for the day. Still a nice day tho. I got to see my family so I can't complain about that! What did u get up to?

Hey all, I'd like to join! Ovulation around 28th May so can try a test around June 12th? Gorgeous weather we are having and lovely to see my parents yesterday at a distance (Scotland, so only just allowed)
