Following on from the previous thread of ‘testing around 13th May’. So many people messaged to say they found the group useful so I thought I’d recreate one.

Everyone is welcome and look forward to hearing everyone’s stories.

@Freddie15VES That's such a cute and memeorable way of telling him! Id love to do it that way, but OHs birthday is at the end of June and there IS NO WAY I would be able to keep my mouth shut! 😂😂😂

@33Carr I'm still testing but still just getting faint lines, so sticking with the idea that I may have missed my surge a few days ago ☺️ Although I'll keep testing and DTD everyother day just to be on the safe side.

@Freddie15VES eeek congrats! Such wonderful news 💕 Bless you, it'll be so hard to wait to tell OH but really sweet if you do. I'm still getting white creamy CM and I think I'm about 4/5DPO now so hoping that's a good sign but won't get my hopes up, not 100% sure I've even ovulated this cycle, so will have to wait and see ☺️

@TTCgee I'm just catching up on messages. Sounds like we've ended up Ina similar situation and feeling the same - I had no LH surge but I did get EWCM, so I have no idea if I ovulated. For several days I felt really low and frustrated that I had done absolutely everything to try and track ovulation and either missed it or it didn't happen. So difficult not to feel rubbish about it. I feel better now for telling myself I may well have missed my surge. Maybe you could think along the same lines, as BBT and CM can't prove you definitely didn't ovulate surely. How are feeling today? Xx

Thanks everyone I need to leave the house today to stay away from OH cos I just want to blurt it out. I also want to tell my mum so bad!! I can’t believe it still! I’m going to test again tomorrow morning just to make sure haha xxx

@33Carr @TTCgee just to throw a spanner in the works 🙈 I've just now got my first ever dark line on OPKs!! My prepmom app isn't saying this isn't peak yet but looks nearly as dark as the control wouldn't you say??

@MintGreenLife Our bodies are so bizarre and confusing! But I would agree it's definitely heading towards a peak! Time for you and OH to enjoy the weekend 😏😉😉

@33Carr couldn't believe it when I saw it! I don't usually test until 2ish or later, but we are going out for a long dog walk today so thought I'd check quickly before we went. Thank goodness I did! We DTD yesterday evening, and as soon as I saw it I was like 'oh god we need to do it right now' 🙈 Which I know is silly. Hopefully OH will be up for it when we get back later and I'll test again then too. I told him I think I should get my positive today and he didn't seem all that excited - probably shouldn't have told him tbh as don't want to put him under pressure 😂 But I was so surprised and excited!

@MintGreenLife my OH is the same. I stopped telling him about the tests. He knows I use them but I avoid telling him the result and just pounce on him once our daughter is in bed.

😂 I think I should take a leaf out of your book. It's possibly TMI for them isn't it. I didn't really mean to tell him, I'm terrible for blurring out things about myself that I tell myself not to tell others. I'm an awful oversharer 😂

@MintGreenLife I was sending him texts with the smiley faces and videos of it flashing. It felt too clinical, plastic feeling. Forced is the wrong word but you know what I mean.

This month, I didn’t tell him but to be fair we aren’t actively trying. I did one test out of curiosity and there was the face I was looking for.

I totally get what you mean. I think I'm future I'll keep it to myself 🙈 Literally pounced on him when he was walking past the bathroom and was like 'look!!' With the OPK 😂

@MintGreenLife @Sussexbysea I've decided not to tell my OH next month about when I'm ovulating etc cause he really felt the pressure, wasn't going to DTD last night but he initiated and I asked about it at the end and he said he felt he had to and that's the last thing I want 😔

@MintGreenLife maybe you could have some cheeky foreplay or teasing while you're out on your walk to excite OH a little for when you get home!

I mean if you can keep it to yourself then defo surprise him @Freddie15VES!! Test every 48 hours as hcg rises every 48 hours.

@33Carr @MintGreenLife just been for a big dog walk and cleared my head and feeling better now! I think sometimes it's so hard not to feel sad isn't it but I'm just thinking there's no point getting down about it yet! I think I'm just a little worried as I've never had the fertile mucus yet , however, I guess I could just be producing a tiny bit and not noticing it! Who knows!

@MintGreenLife v exciting about your darker LH line! That's great news too!

@33Carr ahhh i feel you! My OH has defo been feeling the pressure. He actually didn't finish once during fertile week which has never happened and he said it just got in his head that he had to then he couldn't! I hate the thought of him feeling like that so I'm also gonna try and keep more quiet about it next month! It's such a juggling act isn't it of keeping the fun/ sexy spontaneous side to your relationship but also knowing that you have to do it within a timeframe! Xxx

@TTCgee glad you're feeling a bit better. It's so easy to get all worked up about it. I think it's fine to feel a bit low for a while, as long as you can pick yourself back up again ☺️ I felt rubbish a few days ago, and felt much better the last few days even before the darker OPK.

@33Carr 😂 It's all good we are back now, so doing another OPK now, although so far looks much the same as this morning's

LH levels have gone back down again since this morn and my app is saying the test this morning was my peak. Does that sound normal? I guess that means I got my surge then and will probably ovulate tomorrow? Thank god I did a test this morn before I went out! Will try and convince OH to DTD today and tomorrow, and then we've been at it three days in a row so should have it covered!

I'm not sure I'm a good person to go by 😂 but I always get a peak result then the next day it might have gone really low again! I read somewhere that surges can be as short as 12 hours so it might have been that you caught the tail end of your surge this morning! I think now you'll ovulate in the next 12-36 hours! 😍

How long does ovulation actually last? Anyone know? I felt ov pain weds eve through to thurs so 24 hours but today I'm also feeling pain in the same place. Could I still be ovulating?
