Testing around 11th June

Hi all,

Following on from the previous thread of ‘testing around 13th May’. So many people messaged to say they found the group useful so I thought I’d recreate one.

Everyone is welcome and look forward to hearing everyone’s stories.

I am actually much calmer this tww. I think it's because i don't expect it this month, I am also enjoying the sunshine. Spoke to my best friend about it as she had a similar experience. First child conceived first try and second took her 6 months. Her advice was to enjoy myself and try and not fixate on it as it happens when you are relaxed. Just need a holiday

@Freddie15VES hopefully that's a good sign! Apparently sometimes lots of creamy white discharge can be a sign of early pregnancy so fingers crossed for you!!

I'm 1DPO today and actually feeling OK about the pending TWW going to try and be more chill and enjoy the sun!!

What's everyone's view on having the odd drink during this period? I haven't the last few cycles as I've convinced myself I was preg but I didn't know whether to let myself have a couple this time to try and take my mind off the constant obsessing that I could be? Xxx

I would have a couple @TTCgee , as I said in my last post, the best advice is try and ignore it, relax and not overanalise. Hard to do i know but yes get in the sun, get your vitamin d, have a drink and enjoy yourself

Hi all I'd like to hop on if I can, as due AF on the 12th June so will likely test on the 11th as I have no patience 🙈 cd12 and ovulating today. Been ttc #1 for 9 months now. I'm 34, Dh is 37.

@notyetamumbuttrying welcome to the thread. Theres lots of us in the TWW at the moment, I’m hopeful for some positives from lots of people this month

@TTCgee was talking to my best preggo friend today and was talking about conception, the week they conceived we were out on the Friday and Saturday and both nights were VERY boozy as we had friends visiting. So a couple here and there will not make a difference IMO xx

@TTCgee oh really?! I didn’t know this. My OH is pushing me to take a test tonight as he thinks I’m ‘off’ but again could be AF! Explained to him I’m not taking one until my period should be due. He’s excited bless him haha xxxx

@notyetamumbuttrying yes it will be our first! He’s a slightly apprehensive man (which I think most of them are!) but he’s just told me that he can’t wait until it happens, so no pressure!!!! Haha is this your first?

@Freddie15VES all sounds very promising! I had lots of creamy white unusual discharge in all 3 of my pregnancies leading up to AF being due. It's a tell tale sign for me. That and a break out on my chin. Wishing you all the luck in the world! 🙏

@Freddie15VES eek lol! Yeah our first too and we're getting to the worried stage now as I know he doesn't wanna go for tests but he'll have to if we don't catch in the next 3 months.

This Cycle 6 for us. AF is due around the 9th June.

I've been tracking my bbt using ovusense and also FF, have put this months bbt also into premom, which has told me that ovulation was Tuesday on CD12 but neither ovusense or FF have confirmed anything yet.

I'm pretty sure we are out for this month, as DH is on deployment but local, so we did manage to catch up in his lunch break on CD12.

I've really struggled with all this trying and each month AF turning up, my sister is currently pregnant and fell straight away.

I know how you feel @JustMouse been ttc 9 months now and my sister fell whilst on the pill!! She's due in Aug with her second. She accidentally got pregnant with her first too, like how does that even happen?! I'm over here doing cartwheels to get pregnant and nada lol!

@notyetamumbuttrying - I feel so mean because one minute i'm happy for her, happy to talk baby but then other days I will avoid messages/calls and I just can't cope with it.

I think it comes from it always seems to be her that falls on her feet, whereas I have to fight to get everything.

I've woken up and feeling a bit depressed about it all really! I had an LH surge two days ago but no rise in my BBT at all and now the app is saying I probably haven't ovulated (no fertile CM either!)

I'm sure I'll pick myself up later today but it's just so hard sometimes when you feel like you're doing everything you can to try but your body seems to be working against you!

How's everyone else feeling? Xx

@TTCgee it's so stressful isn't it! I'm 3dpo today based on CM and past history, so crossing everything. Only cycle 2 though so being cautiously hopeful!

@PirateWeasel I'll be keeping everything crossed for you! When will you be testing? Xx

@TTCgee I've had no fertile CM this month either, but had strong symptoms and a good LH surge so hoping I ovulated anyway. Same could happen to you?

Probably the 10th, unless AF shows up first! Need to go and stock up on tests, that reminds me! Good luck to you, and everyone else! 🤞

Guys I caved and took a test. What do you all think. Not sure if faint line or I’m getting serious line eyes 😂

@33Carr yes it came up after 2-3 minutes!! I’m in shock, my boyfriend just came upstairs excited asking if it was positive and I said no but had the biggest grin on my face. It’s his birthday on the 15th June and I’ve got him some new trainers, so my plan is to get some baby ones for him to open to go with it. And tell him that way! But I don’t know if I can hold off!!

I’m 8 DPO! I’m in total shock I’m still sat in bed like I knew how I was feeling wasn’t right!! I so want to tell OH!!! Am I being horrible wanting to surprise him for his birthday? I feel like I’m being cruel!!
