I never seem to quite fit into any of the existing posts so thought I’d create my own.

Feel free to join me.

I ‘think’ I’m due af around 17th May, but knowing me will start testing from around 11th onwards as I’m a total poas addict.

I say I think that’s when my af is due because in the past my cycles have been around 37 dats long. Ovulating around cd22.

But thus cycle I took soy isoflavones after researching about them, hearing they can bring ovulation forward, and amazingly I got my positive ovulation test on cd14! So if my luteal phase remains the same which I think it’s meant to, then I’d be due af 14 days after that (my luteal phase is 14 days long).

I’ve been known to test from 7dpo though so not holding out much hope of me staying strong 😂 that’s the trouble with having a ton of ic tests burning a hole in my drawer!

Good luck to everyone else.

@Hopingfor2021 it's ok I'm going to be good and sit on my hands until Monday I don't want to waste the good supply. I can't tell when I ovulated I thought the 30th but my RHR chart looks like maybe it was before.

I can behave I'm an adult 😂🙄

Still no symptoms 🤷🏻‍♀️

@BabyDust13 I haven’t tested yet. I know I will later on and I know at 7dpo it will be pointless but I also know I won’t be able to help it so 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

I have literally 72 cheapie tests (I counted them earlier 😂) so I have plenty to keep me satisfied.

Good luck if you test later!!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

notyetamumbuttrying · 09/05/2020 18:43

@Moominmiss which cheapie ones do you buy and where from? Thinking I might order a batch for next week...

Moominmiss · 09/05/2020 19:07

I order the one step strip tests from eBay. I think I paid £4 something for 30. I’m always ordering them 🙈😂
I buy the same ovulation tests too. I think the last lot I bough again was about £4 for 30 and they came with 10 of the pregnancy tests too.

Moominmiss · 09/05/2020 19:08

I’ve always used the same ones with all my pregnancies and never had problems with them. Rarely get evaps and I can get really good dark positives on them which I know some cheap tests struggle with

Moominmiss · 09/05/2020 19:09

These are the ones I buy

@moominmiss i've just ordered one of the one step pregnancy test ones! thought why not as only have a cb rapid detection and don't want to waste that testing early, i struggled to find many reviews, do you know if they work 6days before af? 100% not feeling myself with symptoms not had before and my job is quite strenuous so don't want to put myself or possible bub at risk! plus i'm so impatient and really want to test monday at 10DPO (5 days before AF due) xx

Moominmiss · 09/05/2020 19:28

@mrsmumsy00 well I’ve always found them to do pretty well at detecting hcg early. With my chemical they picked up a pretty good clear pink line at 9dpo. Better than I would have expected. For me they’re worth it as they’re so cheap but in my experience just as reliable as frers! I’ve even had times where I’ve had a better line on a one step test than a frer!
Good luck with testing, I will have my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Thanks @Moominmiss Smile

Moominmiss · 09/05/2020 22:17

@BabyDust13 did you test today?

OP posts:
mrsmumsy00 · 09/05/2020 22:19

@moominmiss thank you so much! my fingers are crossed! i ordered thursday but due to the bank holiday i don't imagine it'll be here till monday then i'll want to use fmu so will be tuesday morning ish? unless i'm impatient and hold monday with no fluid intake for a few hours! ahh i'm so nervous !

BabyDust13 · 09/05/2020 22:43

@Moominmiss just on a cheapie but I couldn't see anything in the time when I checked it again a bit later there was a shadow but thinking evap.

Trying to wait until Monday to do a FRER 🤞🏼

Hope you had a good day

BabyDust13 · 09/05/2020 22:44

@mrsmumsy00 good luck

Littlepeas2 · 09/05/2020 23:10

Hey ladies. Would you mind if I joined? AF is due on 17th May. X

BabyDust13 · 09/05/2020 23:11

@Littlepeas2 welcome

When are you planning to test?

Good luck 😊

Littlepeas2 · 09/05/2020 23:13

Thank you @BabyDust13 ! I am going to try and leave it as late as possible this month. I might be crazy but I find AF turning up easier to deal with that negative tests! But... there is a very likely chance I will cave at some point next week!

How many DPO are you?

BabyDust13 · 09/05/2020 23:24

@Littlepeas2 I understand that I wish I had that much will power.

I'm 9DPO tomorrow but going to try and hold out until Monday maybe if Tuesday although I'm not very good at being patient.

My AF is due Friday

Flamingle909 · 09/05/2020 23:58

@littlepeas2 My AF is due on 17th too! This is our first month TTC so I'm going to try not to test too. I have a feeling I'll be the same as you - find it less disappointing than seeing a BFN. Well I say that now... 😂

DressingGownofDoom · 10/05/2020 00:35

@Hopingfor2021 wow what amazing similarities, I can't believe it. Hope we are on the same bus together xx

DressingGownofDoom · 10/05/2020 00:36

Thank you @BabyDust13 and fingers crossed for more evaps or maybe more for us both tomorrow
Grin

mrsmumsy00 · 10/05/2020 00:59

stupid me couldn't sleep and had to put my mind at rest for now😅 did a cb (not early detection so not sure what i was expecting) and got a BFN shocker i know😂 only 8/9DPO so waayy to early for a sensitive one let alone this! should have a one step nhs early detection with me monday so with one POAS out of my system i should be able to hold out till wed/thurs around 12/13DPO xx

BabyDust13 · 10/05/2020 08:05

Morning ladies 9DPO today it has been the longest week ever

My RHR stayed at 66 it's usually 63 so it's still high but the same as yesterday

The bottom of my back has really been aching yesterday and this morning but I can't tell if it's a symptom or just bad timing

Hope you are all well

Moominmiss · 10/05/2020 08:47

@BabyDust13 eeeek I really really hope your rhr staying up is a sign!!

I don’t know how you haven’t tested yet. I’m 8dpo and will obviously test in a bit. I had about 6 trips to the toilet in the night for a wee so I don’t need to go yet 😂

🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 For you and anyone else testing xx

Blondiemum1980 · 10/05/2020 08:58

Morning everyone,
7dpo today. I agree, it’s the longest week in history 😂 tested yesterday and got another evap line. Will test again in a little while to ‘tick off’ today. I had noticeable right hand side cramps last night & woken up with tender boobs. Bit of dr Google (the oracle, obvs 😂) told me that progesterone peaks today for me on a normal cycle, that explains the cramps & boob pain, so trying to keep level headed about it. I don’t have a Fitbit - but the RHR sounds really positive. Good luck for everyone testing today 🤞🏻 Xx (attaches my evap lines at 6dpo, one step IC)

Got a family games after noon on FaceTime so that should take my mind off it for a bit
