I never seem to quite fit into any of the existing posts so thought I’d create my own.

I ‘think’ I’m due af around 17th May, but knowing me will start testing from around 11th onwards as I’m a total poas addict.

I say I think that’s when my af is due because in the past my cycles have been around 37 dats long. Ovulating around cd22.

But thus cycle I took soy isoflavones after researching about them, hearing they can bring ovulation forward, and amazingly I got my positive ovulation test on cd14! So if my luteal phase remains the same which I think it’s meant to, then I’d be due af 14 days after that (my luteal phase is 14 days long).

I’ve been known to test from 7dpo though so not holding out much hope of me staying strong 😂 that’s the trouble with having a ton of ic tests burning a hole in my drawer!

@Lauloo123 the tests look good to me, I didn't take a frer until 14dpo and got a line which got nice and dark over a week so don't worry too much! I've attached my frers so you can see x

Hey everyone

So I've been for my scan I saw a little bean with a heartbeat going strong dated at 5+5.

Also they saw something else they don't know if it's another embryo or the babies cord but I'm going back in a week to find out if it's twins 🥳🥳

Hi all - been meaning to come back to this for days!
I am CD15 (again!) this Saturday - had sex on CD13 and had ewcm this morning so I'm feeling positive about the chances this month

Morning ladies it’s not looking good for me this month think I’ve had a chemical 😔 I’m devastated I’ve been testing all week and no progression in the tests started bleeding this morning it’s not accompanied by any pain just backache 😓 it’s not bright red as of yet but there’s quite a lot of dark brown stuff sorry if TMI but I’ve also tested positive again also but very faint I’m absolutely gutted I’ve literally cried my eyes out I new something wasn’t right ☹️🥺

@DressingGownofDoom thank you fingers crossed for you. When are you planning on testing?

@Lauloo123 sorry to hear that. Chemicals are so evil I've had a couple but the drs told me that although it's very upsetting it's a good thing because at least you know you can get pregnant now you just have to wait for the perfect sticky bean. 🥰 some people say it's your bodies way of preparing for the real thing I had one in Feb and then at the beginning of April and I'm 6 weeks today so I'll keep all my fingers crossed for you and send some baby dust over 😊 💛

Sorry @lauloo on your chemical - I had one last month (all detailed up thread) but I've been through a few - the first is always the worst I think

Thanks everyone I was at the hospital yesterday with bad bleeding and the doctor did me a test there that was also faint positive but it wasn’t eptopic he said, they wanted me to go to the gynaecology ward but I refused I just wanted to come home and relax and let nature takes it’s cause, I’m still bleeding but not as heavy now I’m just tired and drained, thanks for everyone’s kind words xx

Any of you nearly ready to test again?

I'm feeling so fed up I have a water infection and my antibiotics don't seem to be working. I'm not sure how long to give them before calling the dr again today's my third day of taking them but the bottom of my back is hurting a lot I can't get comfy. Maybe a bath will help

Got my next scan tomorrow so that's something to look forward to 🙂

I’m nowhere near testing. I’m not even sure if I’ve ovulated or not yet 🙄
I started doing opk’s on cd10 and they were getting darker then cd13 and 14 I had dark ones but I wouldn’t have said they were quite as dark as the control line. I tested in the morning and again in the afternoon so I don’t know if perhaps I just missed seeing my LH surge on a Test (if ov happened overnight for example), or if it was just a random slight surge and I haven’t actually had my peak yet. I thought I felt some twinges which I would have put down to ovulation had the tests been clearly positive. And my nipples are very sore now, not my whole breasts, just the nipples lol. So don’t know if that could be a post ovulation symptom or I’m still possibly leading up to ovulation. I’m still doing a opk test a day but they’re much fainter now. So who knows. We’re still dtd every day and have been since cd10 and I’m currently cd18 so will just keep doing opk’s for now incase I get another surge.

So I actually have no idea whether I’m any dpo or still gearing up to it?!

Could make a potential tww go a bit quicker though if I’m still testing for ovulation when in fact I’m already potentially a couple days past ovulation lol.

Oh no, I’m really sorry to hear about your water infection. I suffer with them so frequently, at one point I was getting almost one a month! I got referred to hospital to see if there was an underlying reason but nothing was found, just super unlucky.

What antibiotics are you on? I’ve been given all sorts before but the only ones that ever work for me are macrobid (nitrofurantoin). If I take any others I see no change in symptoms, but on macrobid I can feel a difference within 24 hours of being on them.
I’d say after 3 days you should be feeling improvement by now. Perhaps phone your doctor and explain. It might be that like me your body is just resistant to whichever one they’ve given you and you need to be on a different one.

Hugs though. It’s horrible!

Imagine if it’s twins!! That certainly would explain your super dark test really early on!
Is your oh allowed in the scans with you? Or are they still only allowing you in?

Oh that’s pants @BabyDust13, water infections suck ☹️ I agree - the antibiotics should have started to work by now, I would definitely give the docs a call, maybe you need a stronger dose or another urine test? How exciting about tomorrow - please come back and update us - is it weird that I think about you most days - not in a creepy way but a I’m really pleased for you way & wonder what it feels like to be where you are right now (pregnancy wise not actual location 😂😂)

I reckon @Moominmiss that you did ovulate around 13/14 but maybe missed the absolute peak... but deffo keep on biffing until you know for sure 🤞🏻 It can’t do any harm - just in case... how wonderful to think you might be further along the TWW!!

I’m 1dpo (I think, might be 2dpo) I’ve been using CB advanced digi & got peak on Mon avo, alongside positive OPK Mon, yesterday & this morning... I’ve also been temping / charting (first time ever for CB & temping) my temp dipped Monday, rose slightly yesterday and today so will see if it continues tomorrow - I don’t know if the dip on Monday indicates O that day? Or later Mon night or Tues am (temp rose Tuesday am)? Anybody know??

Only managed to to dtd Sunday morning, so O’ving Mon or Tues might work? I used a moon cup to ‘keep everything in’ 😂 kept my hips up for half an hour & orgasmed afterwards - so with the tiny chance I have, I definitely did my best 😬 I just wish he had a higher sex drive 😞

@Blondiemum1980 I’m hoping I ovulated. If the test I did on Sunday was my positive then that would mean I ovulated Monday making me 2dpo today. But like you said I think I will test anyway to make sure. I’d hate to take my foot off the pedal, get all complacent and find I miss my actual ov.

I also have stayed laying down after each time and made sure I orgasmed afterwards. Used preseed a couple of times so will see if any of that has had any effect.

I ordered a female hormone test from a site called thriva which can look at different things but not sure if I’ll actually do it yet or not lol. Kinda scary and almost not knowing is better than potentially finding out there’s a problem.

I’m sure dtd on Sunday for you and ov Monday or Tuesday will still be ok 🤞🏻 Must be frustrating for you though to not be able to dtd as much as you’d like and it not be in your control. I’m very thankful that my ph has a high a sex drive as I do so dtd every day hasn’t been an issue. I told him last night after we’d dtd that we need to carry on doing it for at least another 4-5 days. He just smiled lol.

Have you looked at natural ways or supplements that can boost his sex drive? I’m sure I saw a thread on here about it a while ago!

I’ve attached my tests so you can see what you think. The darker one is from Sunday cd15, and the lighter one is from today cd18.

What do you reckon? Not quite positive?

I am excited about my scan tomorrow although it's not showing much because I just feel rough. OH can't come but I'm going to see if they'll give me a pic this time not that there's much to see maybe one blob maybe two 😬 it's at 10 past 12 so I'll be sure to update you after. I'll be 6+5 based on the measurements at the last scan

@Moominmiss i reckon the second pic with the dark line looks like a positive to me

@Moominmiss I think the Sunday one looks positive to me - mine look the same, I’ve never ever had one where the test line is darker than the control, only as dark, so I think you probably did Ov on Monday...

That’s interesting about the hormone test, I guess if it throws something up it might be easily fixable? And you’d be armed with the info to go straight to the doc & get it looked into ASAP. Do you have a feeling something is a bit off?

Lack of sex life is incredibly frustrating, he knows how important it is to me but I guess that’s a whole new thread 😂 I’ve been giving him Maca & Horny Goat Weed but it’s not changed anything, apart from him being a bit more cheery which is always a good thing!! I’ve been reading another thread about how much sex these ladies have during FW and I’m so jealous, I can’t imagine what it feels like 😂
